It it turns out I need to get my crown replaced. I have to wait 2 weeks for my dentist appointment and in the meantime I have been using Advil PM for the shooting pain. I usually take it right before bedtime and it helps relieved my headache and also helps me to fall asleep. Make sure you don’t exceed the recommended amount and might be better if you take it with food.

I would recommend it to help ease you before going to sleep if you also have some mild pain. I have been taking melatonin to help with sleep and find it works better for me but for someone that isn't taking melatonin on a regular basis I recommend.
