For an OTC (over-the-counter) medication, Advil's PM Caplets work well to help with aches, and pains, and this newer version that includes a sleeping medication, along with the NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), also helps me to sleep. For me, having pain often goes hand-in-hand with not being able to sleep, so it's nice to be able to take one medication to help with both issues (sleeping also helps me get rid of my pain). I only need to take 2 of these caplets, and they help with my aches/pains, as well as with sleep, and I don't wake up groggy, or still tired either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to those restless, aching nights when you just can’t fall asleep Advil PM is a great option to help aid in that because not only is it a sleep aid it is a great pain reliever. The active ingredients are ibuprofen (200 mg) and diphenhydramine citrate (38 mg) per capsule. I personally think that this medicine works as suggested but as stated does cause drowsiness but that’s kind of the best part because it helps you stay asleep through the night. All you need is two capsules before bedtime and you’ll sleep so much better just be sure to not take more than the instructions suggest which is no more than 2 capsules per 24 hours. I would highly suggest Advil PM to those who have aches and pains associated with trouble sleeping.

So I would say that it was a good painnproduct at least but not so good for sleep. Then again melatonin and things like that don’t work on me so maybe that is why

Perfect after a long stressful day that ends with a headache! Usually when I have a headache I can't sleep, but this helps relieve my headache and put me to sleep. My only complaint is it's slightly expensive, and I think that's only because it's a PM product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long time Advil user for aches and pains and have used Advil PM at times when those aches and pains were keeping me up at night. Advil PM helps ease the discomforts that I have and makes me mildly sleepy. Once asleep , it does help me stay awake for a while but not the whole night if I am hurting. It does a good job of helping me get to sleep when I otherwise would twist and turn and it also doesn’t leave me feeling woozy like other sleeping aides can once I wake up for the day. I will continue to take and recommend Advil PM for nighttime aches and pains.

I was able to take these and they started working quickly and effectively. I was able to relieve my headache pain and fall asleep quicker than with other things I've tried on the past. Felt great and well rested the next morning!

Advil PM to the rescue! I took two and laid down for the night. Within 30 minutes, I had drifted off peacefully with no pain. I was able to fall asleep and stay asleep and didn't have any pain during the night. This didn't leave me feeling groggy the next morning like a lot of other sleep aids do.
