I walked a 5K for charity (without training for it!) and I had just a few muscle aches afterwards. I took Advil PM to get some relief and sleep a bit easier. After 2 nights, my pain had dissipated and I didn't lose any sleep over it. A good night's sleep is so important to me because I lead a busy life and can't take time out to nap. I would use Advil PM again for muscle aches and pains.

The caplets are very easy to swallow, and they kick in relatively quickly. I usually take one about 30 minutes before bedtime, and by the time I hit the bed, I can feel the calming effects setting in and I can relax. I wake up feeling rested and not groggy or drowsy. I can function the next day, which is a huge plus for me. AdvilPM combines ibuprofen for pain relief with diphenhydramine to help me drift off.
