The combination of ibuprofen and diphenhydramine proved to be a powerful solution for alleviating my back pain. Ibuprofen helped ease the discomfort, while the addition of diphenhydramine acted as a sleep aid, it helped me have a good night of sleep. However, it is only limited for nighttime use, for daytime it could make me drowsy.
