I did not wake up groggy and while the capsule are on the bigger side, they were easy to swallow. I have bad back issues since having my son, but the small amount of ibuprofen in these is just enough to help relieve that pain enough for me to fall asleep. I would recommend these for the occasional sleep aid. They work as described.
