Just received it yesterday and tried it out today. The thing runs great. Starts right up. Powered up my fridge which was my main reason wanting it. It only showed running at 25% capacity running it too. I just got it so can't really say much more yet. So far very pleased.

purchased not only one but two iGen2500 generators for the purpose of parallel operation. with the ease of starting and connecting with the parallel cord camping or any other operation will be a cinch. quiet operation after starting and the digital readout is a terrific addition to the generator.

I bought this yesterday in preparation for a large storm that was coming our way. Setup was very easy, and the generator started perfectly on the first pull. It powered our sump pump well(never going over half of the maximum wattage,) and saved our basement from being flooded. Super happy with this purchase.

My old RV generator died - overworked. This one is perfect. Fits under the housing of the RV well and snug. Has ample 30 AMP power so that I can use the Top AC on hot days. Otherwise, will run at 50% most of the time since I don't need a ton of power. Just LOVE the portability. Just LOVE the fact I can run this on Propane!

Bought this to use at the track to warm my motorcycle tires, run fans, charge devices etc. Running this on propane exclusively. I changed the factory spark plug to a NGK plug after opening due to other reviews I read. Starts and runs flawlessly. I did as directed and broke in unit and then switched to synthetic oil. I also added a magnetic dipstick to help catch any metal shavings during break in and normal use.

Unpacking it took longer than filling with oil and gasoline and starting. It fired up on the second pull. I bought it for a variety of power tools but mainly to power the 13,500 BTU AC on my Oliver Elite travel trailer. I'd already installed a Micro-Air EasyStart soft start unit on the AC with plans to buy one of those red generators or the other blue one, which produce less power, cost more and have fewer features than the Westinghouse. The EasyStart was needed for those less-powerful units. But then I learned about the iGen2500 on the Micro-Air website. Micro-Air says the iGen25000 will power ACs up to 15,000 BTU with the EasyStart. So maybe it will run my 13,500 in the Efficiency Mode. My trailer is stored elsewhere so I haven't tried it yet. But so far so good. The iGen2500 looks like a well-made generator. I really like the LCD display. I just wish it showed total run hours to help with maintenance.

I purchased this generator because of the great reviews that were online. I did all the setup per directions, started it and it ran well. I then followed the steps and placed a load on it. Still worked, I was excited. THEN, I took the generator on a planned trip where it was going to be v v cold. I made sure to check the oil, gas and that there was nothing to block exhaust. I pulled the cord and it started, GREAT!! HOWEVER, the moment I put a load on it (small heater 200w) IT STOPPED!!! I am going to try again to see if I did something wrong and if I did, I will revise this review. IF NOT, I AM GOING TO MAKE SURE THAT OTHERS DON'T HAVE SAME ISSUE.

I purchased this item for the sole purpose of powering the A/C in our RV on hot days. It is convenient to have the 30 AMP plug that my RV plugs right into. I followed the instructions exactly upon arrival and filled the oil (provided with the item) to the appropriate level. The generator fired up on the second pull of the recoil. I ran the generator twice for about 30 minutes each time on a recent trip. It works as expected. I have only run the generator off propane and only intend to use the propane for fuel, so I cannot speak to gasoline usage but this generator worked as expected on my limited use so far. The item is light enough that my 14 year old son or my wife can lift it into the back of the truck by themselves.

Generator used as emergency power for aquarium. Starts on first pull and is quiet with small load. Gets louder than expected with heavy loads but might be true with all portable generators. Biggest gripe is fuel gauge and remaining run time are very inaccurate.

There is not a firm detent for the run position. The motor surged while I hunted for the optimum position for the switch. After a total of 5 hours run time, the motor still missed a beat every few seconds under light load. The weight is light for the maximum output available, the readouts are good to have, noise level is appropriately low. While in economy mode the engine appropriately speeded up when a heavier load was applied.
