I bought the i2550 to replace a worn out Honda eu2000i. I didn't want to spend the money to buy another Honda, so I did my research and the i2550 fit my needs. The unit starts on first pull and is very quiet. What impressed me is that the generator has better fuel economy than my Honda.

This is a GREAT little generator. It is lightweight and easy to move around. DId I mention that it's blue? I bought this to power my Adventure Van. It provides all the power I need to heat my van while camping without having to deal with propane and an open flame inside the van. It's very quiet and if place the length of my power cord away from the van it's barely noticeable. It can also power my electric hot plate and toaster oven (not at the same time ,of course) preparing meals is a breeze!

I bought this just a week ago and have already had to use it for a storm that blew through Ohio. Thrilled I made this purchase helped run to some pumps so my basement did not flood.

Got it this morning, power had been out for 2 days and used it to power my sump pump and refrigerator was also able to charge phones and tablets with no issues

I just purchased this iGen2550 and have not had an opportunity to use it. It comes well packaged with the oil, sparkplug wrench, funnel, screwdriver and parallel cables. After adding oil and gas, the generator started on the second pull of the rope. The generator ran quietly and smoothly. I gave it 4 stars only because I have not actually used it for any length of time.

Bought to run my travel trailer. Overall happy with performance. Disappointed it will not run my AC even with soft start installed. My AC is listed as 12 amps and 1600 watts so it should work. I have decided to keep this generator for now but may upgrade in the future.

We just bought it and plan to use it on our roadtrip this coming August to Michigan. So far it looks good and sturdy. Will do another review after the roadtrip.

I bought this about a month ago during a power outage and I'm so glad that I did because it allowed my Sump Pump and refrigerator to keep going without problems

Like an idiot but two of them . Only used a few times and only ran non ethanol fuel in them. Due to poor, cheap pot metal fuel cap chain rusted almost immediately. And then inside of gas tank also rusted causing the rust to clog carburetor. Should have known. Have had a similar Honda generator that is going on 15 years without issue. Wait, I did replace the coil starter rope once. Stay away from this Westinghouse generator…..
