I purchased this generator in the event of losing power and needing something to run my sump pump off of. I was able to quickly this get unpackaged, follow directions to start and get what I needed to hooked up quickly. Very straight forward use, runs well and easy to handle.

Purchased this generator a few days ago, currently working on the break in process. So far so good though, the maintenance panels are easy to remove and oil changes are a breeze. It fired up the second pull and now starts with ease on the first pull. It runs quiet, I can reasonably carry on a conversation within 5 feet of it not in Ecomode. Happy to say the least, would definitely recommend it.

I bought this to use when camping in areas without power -remote backcountry areas. Like many others I was attracted to this unit because of its dual fuel capabilities and affordable price point. From the get-go, it has been nothing but problems trying to get this unit running consistently. Wondering whether I will get it started each time (and whether it will run properly) gives me severe anxiety. I need this unit to be reliable. When this is your only source of power, your lifeline in the backcountry or during a power outage, this is unacceptable. Each time I run this I have to play with the choke, play with the propane, turn the unit on and off again, and struggle until I nearly wrench my back. I have changed the oil, spark plug, air filter …and taken all of the recommended steps for troubleshooting. I think I will be selling this to someone who wants to dissect it and purchase something better…which at this point would be anything that actually works. I thought Westinghouse was a great brand based on reviews, but I should’ve focused more on the problematic ones, of which there are many. Buy once, cry once.

We found the iGen 2550 a great match for our 16ft camper and a better choice than the small Honda generator I was going to buy. With a direct 3prong 30amp connection to the camper (Honda didn't have that!) easy pull starting and LED digital data display altogether make this Westinghouse generator the perfect fit for our camping needs!

I bought this to run my sump pump during a power outage. It's easy to set up and use, quiet, lightweight and fits my needs perfectly!

This is my second Westinghouse portable generator. I liked the first one so much, I bought a second.

Had to use it during current power outage to run a few things and definitely worked good. Very pleased.

Used it after power loss. Worked ok oil fill is illogical. Hard to fill and needed oil way too soon.
