Needed a portable power unit to help us at the construction site. WOW! This thing is simple, small and powerful! And it's EASY to start to boot! And love the info the front panel displays! So much better than what we used before! Would highly recommend this unit for anybody needing portable power. THANKS!

I bought this a week ago and did a lot of research beforehand with my dad and brother. It's super fuel efficient and when I tested it, it started on 1st pull which impressed my dad. He was even impressed when I showed him it can run up to 12 hours on only the 1 gallon size tank. It wasn't extremely loud and only sounded like a weed wacker was running.

Bought this yesterday while my power was out and I had it running about half an hour after I got it home. It powered a fridge and freezer at the same time. It did overload when I also attached a sump pump and air conditioner, but it was easy to reset.

Running 100% on propane. Easily started for break-in. 2 pull start after proper break-in time. Just the right amount of features for the price point and usage. Would recommend next gen have an output meter of some sort, nothing fancy just to know when I'm approaching capacity.

The unit doesn't run on gasoline. Runs perfectly fine on propane, just doesn't turn on with gas. I tried switching from propane to gas while running and it just dies after a few seconds. Something's wrong with gasoline fuel flow. I don't believe they do any quality test with gasoline since it never worked with gas right out of the box.

I bought this mostly for power to recharge camper batteries and to run the camper AC when it's hot outside. So far it has worked great for that. It has the capacity for the bare necessities as a home backup generator also. You do need to be religious about running the generator at least every couple of weeks especially if your running gas with ethanol. Fuel stabilizer helps but you really need to drain the carb float bowl for extended down periods. I also run non ethanol gas only.

Haven't had it long enough to give it a thorough review, but so far works well and handles the loads I have put on it (sitll within the 5 hour breakin, so have not put it at full load). It does require a couple of minutes of running before applying load - if you load it up too quickly, the engine simply stops running. Not a bad self protection feature, since the engine should be warmed up before putting it under load.

This is my first generator. I was very impressed by how small unit is and easy to carry. After filling it with oil, it took two or three pulls and it started right up. Doesn't ever take more than two pulls to start now she's broken in. The build quality is excellent and it's very easy to open the panels for oil access and maintenance. Comes with a spark plug tool and parallel cables. Highly detailed manual and wiring diagram very impressed, highly recommend. Even powered to our leaf blower and still wasn't at full capacity.

We bought 2-2550 last year for an event/camping last year in June and the generator work just great. This year went to the same event and brought both generators. After starting up one of them it kept shutting off after 30-40 minutes. Swapped out generator same problem (using propane). Any recommendations or ideas

Purchased WESTINGHOUSE2,550 Watt Dual Fuel Gas and Propane Powered Portable Inverter Generator a year ago. Starts easy. Runs quiet. I only run on propane. I sometimes camp above 8000 feet. Purchased this item with the intent of purchasing the High Altitude Kit at a later date. High Altitude Kit not available.....that is a disappointment.
