So far, so good!

I've just completed breaking my generator in. 6.5 hours of gradually increasing loads and 5 oil changes. I have only been using propane, and intens to only use propane as long as I can. At the end of the break in period I ran my RV air conditioners independently without issue. I know they won't work simultaneously, so I didn't bother. Had no issues and the generator performed well. The included accessories are great, especially the funnel. Works well for filling and draining. It screws into the fill/drain port. If I ever lose it, I will cry. Only thing is recommend getting is a magnetic dipstick. I ordered one half way through break in period and had it installed for last two oil changes. It collected a lot of really fine particulate. Overall I am super happy so far.

Perfect for camping

I bought this earlier this month, so we could have something small for camping trips. And this is perfect! Quiet, easy to use, light weight. Ran it for about 27hours straight, and was able to keep up with everything! Had our Alpicool fridge/cooler plugged into it and none of our food went bad. 10/10 would recommend this generator to everyone!

Small Generator for Home Power Outages

The iGen1500c is just what we needed to power essentials during home power outages. For example, we found we could not open our rather heavy garage door during an outage, and our cars were in the garage. The inverter includes two 20 amp outlets, other outlets to plug cell phone chargers directly to the unit, and parallel connectors. The iGen1500c is quiet, very easy to start, and the thorough instructions are easy to understand.

Won't run on propane

I bought the generator to run it on propane. Tried to start it for the first time and it started right up. However it only ran for 15 seconds and now won't start again. I've started a ticket with Westinghouse and I will update this review if they can fix it so that it runs the way it's supposed to propane.

Great quality at a reasonable price

This iGen 2550 is perfect for my truck camper or trailer. It has the 30 amp outlet, although it's limited to 15.8 amps @120v continuous. Peak is a tad over 21 amps, (ac starting etc). This will work great for my needs. The unit is lighter than I expected, 42lbs I think, solid construction and quality components, They provide more than you will need, oil, funnel, spark plug changer. I am very happy with this generator, it's perfect for a travel trailer or any RV.

Amazing generator

I purchased this inverter generator about 3 weeks ago because I work from home and lose power a couple times a month. I needed a generator that was easy to use and was safe for sensitive equipment like a desktop computer, modem and 2 routers. This product worked perfectly when I had to use it. I purchased the dual fuel product because I wanted to use propane. It was so easy to start and hook up my equipment so I could continue to work. I had absolutely no issues and are so satisfied with this product annd the peace of mind it gives me. It's also very light weight and quiet. I would definitely recommend this generator!!

Great Buy

This generator has been great. Came with everything needed in the box, the directions were clear and it started right up. I originally purchased this generator for my cabin but after realizing how much electricity I need vs what I thought - I now plan on using this to power my home necessities during a power outage.

Quiet and powerful generator

I bought it about a month ago and took on 2 camping trip we ran the generator on propane gas and was very easy to connect and start much cleaner than gasoline. We had a 9500 before and was overkill for us. The igen 2550 is lighter quiet and perfect for our needs. We just need to install the altitude kit because it won't run right without the correct setup.

Highly recommend

I really wanted the igen4500 but that unit has been on backorder everywhere for a very long time. With hurricane season a week away I didn't want to take a chance so I ordered the igen2500, which was my second choice. Upon unboxing I gave it a thorough going over. The unit appeared to be in great condition with only 1 minor scratch. When I showed the wife she couldn't even find the scratch. Alls good! I followed the very clear pre startup instructions and was ready to start it up within 5 min. It started on the first pulled. I let it run for 20 min with no load than added a 240 watt load and let it run. After 10hrs 14min it finally ran out of gas. I found the unit to be louder than I expecting. More on that later. Day 2. I wanted to run another tank full of gas to get through the first 20hrs and do the first oil change as recommended ( I actually change the oil after the first day's run so this would be the second oil change). About 2 hrs into the run I noticed 1 of the 4 control panel screws had back it's way out and was laying on the ground. Looking at the screw I found the last 3 threads had been stripped. I checked the other three and they were fine. A quick trip to the hardware store and all is good again. On this day I put a higher load on the unit, about 430 watts. Still under 25 % load. It ran out of gas after 10hrs 29min. Very happy. On day three I added a small amount of gas, warmed it up and changed the oil. Put the cover back on and started it up again. That's when I noticed a buzzing sound. 2 pieces were vibrating against each other. Grabbed a screwdriver and started checking the screws a little tightening here and there and the buzzing stopped. If you have the same problem check the air filter cover screw. Now the unit sounded like I was expecting! It was very quiet! All in all this a powerful, very fuel efficient and now very quiet generator. I am very pleased. I would buy it again and I highly recommend it.
