At first. I couldn’t figure out where to put the beans, but after that, I brewed up a wonderful pot of coffee less than 10 minutes now that’s convenient. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this coffee machine but it’s a bit flimsy. Brew chamber pops open pretty easily and won’t stay fully closed. A lot of parts to clean but pretty silent and sleek look. I like my coffee really strong and this just won’t cut it so I’ll stick to an espresso machine.

I scoured the internet to find a coffee maker that would grind the beans, make a pot of coffee, or a cup without using plastic pods with the touch of a button. The Profile does all that plus has many more features that I love. But, the best part is that it makes great tasting coffee.

To begin, let me say that choices for brewing strength make this a game changer! I can have it strong or very strong (light, medium, or dark roast)just by the choice in the easy to use menu on the top of the brewer! It's super quiet only to beep when it's done crafting your specialty brew! I can have ground coffee or beans! I can do a single cup just for myself or 10 cups for myself and others! And now, for the wow factor: you can start grinding or brewing from your phone by connecting the brewer to the easy to use app!!! This truly made a difference on how I take my coffee and is by a high standard a great quality item I would have purchased! I use this every day now! Thank you!

I like the setup and the coffee this makes. Unfortunately the grinder isn’t able to be properly cleaned and after two months it wasn’t getting any grinds through. I never used dark roast, and always used the most coarse setting but even that is pretty fine… I cleaned out the grinder with the instructions in the manual after the first 25 brews and it was fine, but before I got to 50 brews it clogged up on me. It seems like part of the grind mechanism is not reachable which is a pretty big flaw. I cleaned everything out that was accessible and still get no grounds coming through.

I have always loved the idea of having fresh ground beans to use every time I wanted coffee, however it always felt like there were too many steps to the process. With the new GE Grind and Brew they have made the process so easy, I have fresh ground beans even if I just want one cup. I love to use the delay brew feature during the weekdays so my coffee is ready when I am. My partner goes to work 2 hours before I do, and the insulated carafe keeps the coffee piping hot, so both of us can have a hot mug of coffee on our way into work. This definitely feels and looks like a high end appliance, because it is. The only issue I've had thus far is the mechanism for the filter basket seems to have gotten off-kilter in shipping, making closing the filter basket more difficult than it should be. But it being a GE Profile product, I am sure they will fix the issue in no time.

You can brew just one cup or fill the carafe with as many cups as you’d like. It comes with a brush for easy cleaning. I love that it grinds the coffee right before brewing and you don’t have to fill with water before you make coffee each time. Definitely recommend.

This coffee pot was a nice upgrade for my kitchen. It replace a machine with dual stainless steel carafes. Combining grinding and brewing into one machine is as good as it gets! The device can make 2 pots before adding water or beans. The machine has been added to our home WiFi which opens unlimited possibilities. I mostly just push 2 buttons when I want coffee, On and Brew.
