I have raised several dogs using Iams and have had healthy long lives. I have had people suggest I not use this product but then they go on and tell me about all of their vet bills. My current Lab I rescued from a family that couldn't handle her. They gave me a supply of their cheap food which I used to gradually change her to Iams. She changed physically and mentally to a much happier dog.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Iams is usually a good brand, but sometimes in the past it has made my dog sick. I was hoping when I got this that they have changed some things since then. I really liked it this time! My only complaint is that my dog was pretty gassy after.

Not thrilled. My 55lb SharPei has sensitive allergies. This food made her flair up with itchy skin and patchy fur. I’ll never buy anything Iams for her again. Maybe fine for regular dogs but if your dog has sensitive allergies I’d highly recommend to stay away

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was going to wait to try but they both kept smelling the bag so I opened and gave a cup my Shepherd collie usually does not eat dry but loved this our lab eats anything so having whole grain is better fir weight

My dogs gobble it up and look for more. Not because they're still hungry, but because it tasted good. They are running around a lot more lately even though it's still cold outside. One of my dogs had a skin problem on her foreleg that was red and her fur was gone. We tried medication and bandages, but she would just chew the bandage off and lick off the medicine. Even with a "lampshade" around her neck, her brother would chew off the bandage for her. Nothing was helping! I've been giving her Iams Proactive Health dog food for about a month now, and her leg has barely a hint of pink and her fur is coming back in nicely. Both dogs are getting shinier coats, too!

He used to eat puppy food for almost one year and now he is a adult. I think we won’t have a problem with he eats his new food. It’s good to see him to adapt a good one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog ( Golden Lab) loved this food. The ingredients were solid and seem to comply with the healthy standards you expect for your best friend. I slowly mixed it in with his previous food and so there were no stomach problems. Occasionally with his previous food he would not eat in the morning and then try to inhale his dinner meal. However, with this food he always ate it all and seemed to look forward to meal time. Keep his bathroom times regular and expected so he and I knew what schedule he was on. This really helped with being comfortable when I needed to leave him at home or when I really needed some sleep. Quality product and no stomach issues.

He’s a really picky eater and it’s his first time trying kibble from IAMS. I love how the kibble is packed with nutrients perfect for my dog. I have noticed my dog had more energy because of this. He would finish this kibble so quickly compare to other brands.

Typically, she's not terribly excited about dinner time unless we "liven" it up for her with cheese. Not this time - straight down the hatch, and licked the bowl clean!!
