[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the bag of Iams ProActive Health Adult Large breed arrived, I brought the bag inside and placed it on the floor in the kitchen. I have a 13 year old English Bulldog and a 7 year old Bischon Frise. They immediately walked over to the bag and laid down beside it with their nose facing the bag. I had some things to do before I fed them but they waited right beside the bag until it was time. They both ran outside to where their bowls stay and paced around me while I filled their bowls. They did not hesitate once they started eating and neither of them stopped before they were finished. I was excited that they enjoyed the food. I have always bought Iams for my dogs and now that they are getting older, especially the bulldog, I am glad there is food made for them. I really like that the food is made from chicken and eggs. After feeding my dogs this food for a couple of weeks now, I can tell that my dogs really enjoy their food and I know that they are getting something healthy that maintains strong bones and helps with aching joints.

I gave her a small amount in her bowl and she loved it and wanted more. i gave her another serving and she ate it right up.. She loved it and I will give it again.. But I know that she loves it..

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This food is great for my golden! His coat is healthy. If you want to give your large breed dogs some good quality food with a great price, this is the one for you! He eats his food very quickly and this bulk size is perfect as he eats a lot!

We tried a few different varieties and this is the one he loves. I bought this a few weeks ago and I am glad that I did our older rescue didn't like his food and mow he is a happy camper again, with healthy skin and coat, iam is a trustworthy company with ingredients I can pronounce. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A couple weeks ago I received a 15 pound bag of dog food from Iams. I didn't know my dog could be that excited to eat twice a day. Instead of staring at his food and slowing eating, he would gobble the Iams down and get mad when I didn't give him more than the two cups. The bag says that it helps with digestion and they aren't lying. He has had so much gas since starting Iams and they reek. He became very consistent when taking him out to go to the bathroom.I guess I know it works. It's good knowing that he is getting all the nutrition he needs. it was very important to my wife and I that the first ingredient be meat. Thank you Iams for sending us this product to try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My blk lab has a great experience with Iams! I can honestly say he looks forward to feeding time he always did but, now even more so!! I like that he actually has to chew his food because the chunks are a good size so, he can't just swill ow it like most dog food, also I noticed his teeth are much cleaner and whiter! The only thing is, is that he has more bowel movements with this Iams dog food, but, other then that is great! Iams a customer for life!! Lol

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Iam's ProActive Dog Food is nice size nuggets that my dog enjoys. I've bought dog foods that the bits were very small and got all over as my dog, Brody tried eating. As for the smell of the food, it's not an over powering smell. After reading the ingredients on the bag, I was satisfied that this would be a completely healthy meal for my dog. When I opened the bag and was checking out the nuggets, Brody was very interested with it. I gave him a few nuggets and he seemed to think they were a treat. When I fed Brody the food, he was really enthusiastic about eating. Between the ingredients, size of nuggets and smell of the food, I feel I'm feeding Brody something he enjoys, completes his dietary needs and I feel good about.

I was happy to see that chicken is listed first in the ingredients along with no artificial preservatives or flavors and 0% fillers. My dog seems to enjoy this food and I would definitely recommend to other large dog owners.

My German Shepherd turned up his nose at Diamond Large Breed, Nutro, Fromm, and ProPlan across a span of two years. He LOVES this food! I'm so happy to get the extra nutrients specific to large breeds and relieved not to have to add or top the food with some kind of enticement. I have had to throw away so much dog food, because I didn't find it true at all that "if he's hungry enough, he will eat it". Maybe not every dog will like this, but my very picky and spoiled dog loves it!!
