[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog loves IAMs ProActive Health. She is very picky, but she ate it right away. No stomach issues adjusting to a new food. She seems to have allergies, and this food has not negatively impacted her in anyway...which by itself is a 5 star rating. I will definitely buy again. I am very happy with the quality; love the fact that chicken is listed first. Also, this food is quite economical when compared to similar quality food. A+ and Five Star rating from me.

Iams is a great dog food it's been around for a very long time and it is veterinary approved!! I also noticed that my dog always loved the taste of this over different brands which we don't actually switch his food a lot cuz it's not recommended by his vet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are now on day 5 - the second day of feeding 100% Iams and tails are wagging all around. My german shepherd is a pretty picky eater. And generally when we try new food, he will simply pick out his regular food and only reluctantly even pay any attention to the new food. But with the Iams, he just kept eating. So while he can't tell me whether it was yummy or whether he just couldn't tell the difference between that and his regular food, I take it as a good sign!

Our black and tan coonhound was vomiting up her last food. So, we switched to Iams and no more vomiting! It's healthier for her as well. I also love that the dry food pieces are all the same. Our last brand of dog food, I think it was Purena, had 4 or 5 different flavors/shapes of pieces and she'd pick out certain ones leaving behind about half of her food. With Iams, she eats everything in her bowl.

Having had numerous short haired purpose built hounds I have learned a lot about food. Having tried everything from generic to small batch designer kibble and home made raw meal to Alpo the truth eventually comes out. My dogs: coonhounds, Ridgebacks and an occasional pointer have the best combination of muscle confirmation, energy, overall health and brain power in Iams kibble. This statement extends back 36 years to when I started using it. And that product had a fault, 4% or so too much fat. This product repairs that and remains free if criticism. Well, I do complain that the one folks at Iams no longer make charcoal biscuits.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm skeptical of changing my dogs food because of his sensitive stomach...but I hear great things about the Iams product and wanted to give it a try for our Americam Bulldog, Skylar. I first started by adding small amounts of the Iams food to his regular food. He seemed to take the new food well. Normally it would upset his belly to the point of puking. By day 4 I was giving him all Iams. He loved it. NO upset belly at all. We rescued our dog at the beginning of this year. He was abandoned in a home that his humans were evicted from. He was thin, dehydrated and scared. Our local humane league nursed him back to health and now he is a very important part of our family. We want only the best for him and in our opinion, Iams food is the absolute best. Our Skylar is happy, healthy and has a beautiful shiney coat. I would recommend Iams to any and everyone. We will only buy and feed our dog Iams food.

We’ve had our dog on this since she was a puppy. She’s now 9 years old and our 4 year old dog has been in it as well. Both of them love this food from what I have a served as well. Sometimes we switch it up and buy the mini chunks, but still the same kind and brand,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My three large breed dogs (a great dane, an akita, and a mastiff) all have eaten another brand of dogfood for years. I thought they liked it until I switched to Iams® ProActive Health™ Adult Large Breed. Even my picky 14 year old akita ate her whole bowl right down morning and night. Even better it really seemed to help her temperamental stomach. Anyone with a big dog knows how smelly they can be but the Iams® ProActive Health™ Adult Large Breed greatly reduced this! Also we started the switch over at the same time as they were shedding their winter coats and I can really tell the difference in their new coats from the Iams- so smooth and shiny. They have never looked better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the bag of Iams ProActive Health Adult Large breed arrived, I brought the bag inside and placed it on the floor in the kitchen. I have a 13 year old English Bulldog and a 7 year old Bischon Frise. They immediately walked over to the bag and laid down beside it with their nose facing the bag. I had some things to do before I fed them but they waited right beside the bag until it was time. They both ran outside to where their bowls stay and paced around me while I filled their bowls. They did not hesitate once they started eating and neither of them stopped before they were finished. I was excited that they enjoyed the food. I have always bought Iams for my dogs and now that they are getting older, especially the bulldog, I am glad there is food made for them. I really like that the food is made from chicken and eggs. After feeding my dogs this food for a couple of weeks now, I can tell that my dogs really enjoy their food and I know that they are getting something healthy that maintains strong bones and helps with aching joints.
