[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have one boxer and one boxer/Australian Sheppard mix and they absolutely loved this dog food. Sometimes they have been picky when I have changed their dog food but they had no problem taking up with this. I would highly recommend this product to others to use and to pay the extra money because of all the nutrients it contains for your fur-baby; just knowing they're getting what they need is worth it to me!

As far as taste and whether or not she enjoys it, I'd say we have a winner. There aren't many dry dogs foods that she will even touch but she gobbles this up. Happy as this makes me, I was a little confused come review time. The product being for aging dogs or shall i say middle aged,I assume some review points should be based on whether or not Iams ProActive Health has kept "members strong, healthy and playful from puppyhood into their golden years". Unfortunately I don't understand how I could notice in such a short time or even predict my dog's future. There has been no change in her playfulness though she has always been strong, as her breed is. Overall what matters to me is that Iams is a trusted brand by my Vet and I.My sweet girl actually likes it therefore its worth the buy. Before you purchase talk to your vet to see what the best option is for your dog and know that dog foods aren't miracle cures and dogs aren't going to be puppylike whenthey are 10. If only she could talk lol.

We recently switched to Iams Proactive Health and could not be happier. After trying 3 or 4 different kinds of "natural" dog food this is the only kind that his stomach can handle. As soon as we started giving him the food he was more playful and his stomach was better with in 12 hours!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were excited to try the Iams ProActive Health Large breed dog food after receiving it on our front door. I started out by reading the ingredient list, which I have to say I was not very impressed. Meat is the first ingredient, that is the positive note here. However, corn meal, ground whole grain sorghum, & chicken by-product meal are the top 3 ingredients besides real meat. I didn’t know what Ground Whole Grain Sorghum was so I looked it up. It is used to make molasses, alcoholic beverages, and biofuel. I don’t want my dog eating something that can be used as a biofuel. Corn is also hard for dogs to digest, so corn meal is not a top ingredient for my dog. Neither is any by-product meal. By-product meal is ground up feet, brains, heads, feathers, necks, intestines and even undeveloped eggs. That is the LAST thing I’d want my dog to eat on a daily basis. Even though he had no problem chowing down on his food, I had a problem with him doing so. I will be sticking with Blue Buffalo.

My dogs gobble it up and look for more. Not because they're still hungry, but because it tasted good. They are running around a lot more lately even though it's still cold outside. One of my dogs had a skin problem on her foreleg that was red and her fur was gone. We tried medication and bandages, but she would just chew the bandage off and lick off the medicine. Even with a "lampshade" around her neck, her brother would chew off the bandage for her. Nothing was helping! I've been giving her Iams Proactive Health dog food for about a month now, and her leg has barely a hint of pink and her fur is coming back in nicely. Both dogs are getting shinier coats, too!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We found this to be a good dry option for a chicken based kibble to have on hand in Lola's food dish in between her treats, wet food dishes, and other snacks in between. She loved to wolf this down for her meals three times a day.

We are an IAMS dog food family! I had a 16 year-old dog that strictly ate IAMs and after she passed, we continued the tradition with my girls today. As you can see the dog food does not make them gain weight, we feed ours about one cup two times per day. They absolutely go nuts anytime I bring in a new bag of dog food!

I think they could smell the goodness from the outside of yhe bag. I always look at the ingredients, to make sure I sm feeding my four legged children the bestm. I also don't want to give them something that would upset their tummies. I am pleased with the iams brand and there ability to put dogs nutrition and wellness at a high priority. Both of my dogs loved the food, and being that they are both large breed dogs, we go through a lot of food. Thank you iams for the free sample, food scoop and keychain. I and my dogs enjoyed reviewing this product.

I gave her a small amount in her bowl and she loved it and wanted more. i gave her another serving and she ate it right up.. She loved it and I will give it again.. But I know that she loves it..

Whenever it's dinner time he comes running in ready to chow down! He used to leave some of his other food in his dish when he was done but not this! He makes sure to gobble it right up!
