[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My chocolate Lab is 15 months old and I was feeding her Iams Smart Puppy for large breeds. Its a smaller piece d food and she sometimes doesn't eat it in the morning and sometimes she does. The first time I gave her the new food, she devoured it all! It took a while to get used to the bigger pieces but she managed! She seemed to really like the food and my son couldn't wait to put the mini food dish on her collar! Then, every time she came running we really heard her!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A couple weeks ago I received a 15 pound bag of dog food from Iams. I didn't know my dog could be that excited to eat twice a day. Instead of staring at his food and slowing eating, he would gobble the Iams down and get mad when I didn't give him more than the two cups. The bag says that it helps with digestion and they aren't lying. He has had so much gas since starting Iams and they reek. He became very consistent when taking him out to go to the bathroom.I guess I know it works. It's good knowing that he is getting all the nutrition he needs. it was very important to my wife and I that the first ingredient be meat. Thank you Iams for sending us this product to try.

This was the first thing I noticed, and I was super excited! The next thing was seeing if my dog enjoyed. I have a purebred Rottweiler, and she loved it! So now I know that I have a new option when it comes to my dogs eating habits and being healthy and happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A friend had said their Vet had recommended IAMS for their dog & she really liked it. We had just bought a bag of IAMS Proactive Health for Large Breed Dogs a couple of days before receiving a bag from IAMS to try for free. It took almost two weeks before Buddy would eat the IAMS without mixing it with anything else. He just didn't seem to want to eat it. So after feeding him two 15 pound bags we switched back to his previous dog food. We were looking forward to being able to switch to IAMS permanently since it's cheaper than his current food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving this product to try from Iams, I was slightly cautious about changing my golden retriever's food as she tends to have a sensitive stomach at times. I admit that I did the transition more slowly than recommended and it took an extra 4 days to completely transition her over. However, I was pleasantly surprised that at no time during the transition, or after, did she have any problems with vomiting or loose stools. Honey appears to enjoy the food and comes quickly whenever the cabinet her food is kept in is opened. She is a very high energy dog and I like the fact that it is for active pups. I also like the fact that I know that she is getting the nutrients she needs without having to be stressed about whether she is actually going to eat the food or if it is going to agree with her. I would recommend this product and plan on using it going forward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Saint Bernard named Sally, she absolutely loves the Iams Proactive Health dog food for large breeds. She always eats this food very eagerly and really seems to enjoy it. Iams is a brand I feel good about giving my dog and its a brand I trust. I like that the pieces of dog food are larger, I feel that they are the perfect size for Sally. I have nothing bad to say about this food, I feel like it provides complete nutrition for my dog and I will definitely look for this food next time I am out shopping!

We had recently switched our dogs food to this and it turned out to be the worst decision possible. Within a week she had diarrhea and recently broke out into a severe case of itchy hives. Our dog is very healthy and has never had any problems. We know it’s this food because we didn’t change anything else.

I wasn't the only one my dogs were so happy with it the continued to lick their bowl after I served them their food for nearly a week. An it wasn't because they were hungry oh no they had very healthy proportions that they were fed. An their activity levels seems to have increased. Overall I'm very satisfied with this product and so are my dogs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Iam's ProActive Dog Food is nice size nuggets that my dog enjoys. I've bought dog foods that the bits were very small and got all over as my dog, Brody tried eating. As for the smell of the food, it's not an over powering smell. After reading the ingredients on the bag, I was satisfied that this would be a completely healthy meal for my dog. When I opened the bag and was checking out the nuggets, Brody was very interested with it. I gave him a few nuggets and he seemed to think they were a treat. When I fed Brody the food, he was really enthusiastic about eating. Between the ingredients, size of nuggets and smell of the food, I feel I'm feeding Brody something he enjoys, completes his dietary needs and I feel good about.
