Gets the job done!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to test this vacuum through the Stellar Testing Panel and it came just at the right time as our other vacuum wasn't getting the job done anymore. With two little boys and a dog messes are a constant in our house. I was shocked at how much more was picked up with this vacuum compared to previous ones I have owned. The canister is big enough that I don't have to empty it constantly. My only complaint is that it is heavy. Would definitely be difficult for me to use on the stairs.
Heavy, Loud and Decent Suction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as a member of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. All thoughts and opinions are my own. The Bissell CleanView Max Lift Off has quite a few pros! The design is sleek and not bulky, the top of the vacuum head is flat so it easily fits under furniture to ensure you get those are hard to reach places and two different attachments. I love that there is a duster attachment that can slide up when you need it or go back down when you don't, it also locks the duster in place when you use it so no frustration with it sliding down! This is especially nice when you want to use it on tables/baseboards so you don't worry about scratching things up. The turbo brush is excellent for stairs and had great suction power. Unfortunately for me, the vacuum had more cons than pros. It is a very heavy vacuum, even when you lift it off the base to use it in a carrying position. There are only 2 options for suction power-bare floor/low carpet or high carpet. I had spaces that don't really fit those options so it was a little tricky trying to decide which option would give me the best clean. When vacuuming on carpet, you could hear/feel the suction when pushing forward but when pulling back, it felt like the suction power was lost. The vacuum has a very strong vibration and could be bothersome to people who are sensitive to that sensation. It is also incredibly loud. The bottom bristle says it is tangle free but it easily got hair wrapped around the bristle and was a little frustrating to get it clipped off and removed. Overall, it had decent suction power but the limited options for controlling the level of suction power based on the flooring type as well as the loudness and heaviness made it less than ideal.
GET THIS VACUUM
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CleanView® Max Lift-Off made a great first impression with its sleek and functional design. I love how it looks modern and compact, yet feels sturdy and well-built. The detachable canister feature adds a smart touch that makes it super versatile. In terms of cleaning power, this vacuum really impressed me. It handled everything from pet hair and crumbs to fine dust with ease. Whether it was a quick cleanup or a deep clean, the suction stayed strong throughout. I used it on hardwood floors, area rugs, and carpeted rooms — and it performed flawlessly on each surface. My favorite feature has to be the Lift-Off canister. Being able to detach it and clean stairs, upholstery, or tight corners without lugging the entire vacuum around made the whole process so much easier and more convenient. Overall, the CleanView® Max Lift-Off has exceeded my expectations. It’s powerful, stylish, and packed with features that make cleaning less of a chore. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable, all-in-one vacuum solution!
Picked up dust, hair, & dirt great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this upright vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. Right away, I was impressed by its sleek, modern design and how simple it was to assemble. One of my favorite features is the powerful suction—it picked up an impressive amount of dust, dirt, and hair from both my carpets and hard floors. I especially liked how easy it was to remove the extension wand, which made cleaning my stairs much more convenient. It steered smoothly overall, though I did notice it didn't glide quite as easily on the carpet, likely due to how strong the suction is. On hard floors, I was really pleased that it didn't scatter debris but instead collected everything instantly. The large dust canister was another big plus—it held a lot and was easy to empty, which meant fewer trips to the trash can. What impressed me most was how well it trapped fine dust particles. Overall, I had a positive experience with this vacuum. I'd give it 5 stars if it were a bit lighter—it's just a little heavy for me. But performance-wise, it definitely delivers.
Great vacuum for use all over your house
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed with this vacuum. I was amazed by the cleaning power. My husband had vacuumed the house earlier in the day and I was blown away by how much this vacuum still got up afterward (I’ve included a picture of how much we got up in the canister). I tried it on hardwood, carpet, baseboards, and area rugs. It helped me tackle sand and dog hair with ease. It was nice to be able to toggle the suction power for different floor surfaces. It would be nice if this was an automatic feature. The look and design were fine. It isn’t super heavy and the canister is easy to empty. My favorite feature of this vacuum was the lift-off canister and hose so you can clean the stairs and move around the house freely without the bulk of the wheeled base. The turbo brush vacuum attachment stayed on the hose nicely when you tried to use it and did a great job on our carpet and dog bed to remove hair.
LOVE THIS VACUUM
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh my goodness. I have searched high and low for YEARS for a good vacuum that cleans my children’s mess and my dog’s hair! Boy does this vacuum work SO well! I love the sleek design and the lightweight feel of it. It truly cleans up every one of my kids messes, from beads, to goldfish crumbs, to dog hair, etc. It works so well on hardwood and carpet alike! I didn’t feel like it worked better on one surface vs the other. It truly worked so well on both. I love how versatile it is and I can use it virtually anywhere in my house. It’s light enough to do my stairs without me getting out of breath. It vacuums corners SO well. Truly 10/10 on this vacuum! I would recommend it to anyone, but especially people with children and/or pets!
My New Favorite Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm honestly impressed with the CleanView® Max Lift-Off by Bissell. With two young kids (2 and 6 years old), a long-haired cat, and a small dog that sheds nonstop, this vacuum has made cleaning so much easier. It's lightweight, sleek, and the lift-off canister is a game-changer for cleaning stairs and hard-to-reach spots. The suction is incredible—it picks up more pet hair than any vacuum I've ever used, and it transitions effortlessly between hardwood floors, carpets, and area rugs. My favorite feature is how easy it is to clean out; the canister empties with no mess, and the attachments help me get into tight spaces like under furniture and along baseboards. Overall, it's powerful, easy to use, and a huge help in keeping my home cleaner with minimal effort. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum that is now a regular part of our family's cleaning routine.
Cleans Great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum. 100% this is the one vacuum you want for pet hair. The CleanView Pet vacuum was great on both my hardwoods and my low and high pile carpet. My daughter has Berber in her room and we have a high pile carpet in our bedroom. The clean view max is the best on all different types of flooring. It did a great job on Berber and also high pile carpet. I was even impressed with the suction and sweeping power on hardwood floors. It sucked up a ton of hair that I couldn't even see. We have a dog and a cat and was very impressed with how well the vacuum worked. The amount of hair that was in the container was insane especially since we have been using our prior vacuum at least three times weekly before using the cleanview pet max. The vacuum was not very loud and I really liked all the attachments that come with it. The brush attachment for furniture did a great job getting pet hair out. I love the attachable hose for ceiling dirt. It was easy to clean my blinds and upholstery with the hose that detaches without stopping vacuuming. Impressive!
Super Impressed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed with the overall performance of this vacuum! It has a nice modern design that looks great and fells well-built. The cleaning power was strong (which is needed) - and easily handled everything from everyday crumbs, pet hair and larger debris. I used it on laminate, low-pile carpet and area rugs with no issues between transition of surfaces. My favorite feature was the swivel steering - It made maneuvering around furniture, toys and tight corners a breeze! Overall, this vacuum made cleaning feel less like a chore!
Versatile vacuum for multiple flooring types
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My household demands a lot from vacuums. I have a 4-year-old child, a dog, and a cat. I need a vacuum that can pick up messes, pet hair, and dust on multiple types of flooring, from plush carpet to vinyl flooring and area rugs. I also like to have multiple attachments for vacuuming the sofa and for getting crumbs out of the crevices of furniture and car seats. The CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum does it all. As an upright vacuum, it's very versatile, with settings for hard floors through shag carpet. The buttons used to change settings were easy to reach, so I could switch between settings as I moved around my house. I especially liked that there is a switch on the top to easily turn the beater brushes on or off - I like to turn them off when going over my vinyl plank floors to reduce wear and tear on the floor, then switch them back on for rugs and carpets. The attachments included a turbo brush attachment that is useful for vacuuming upholstery and a crevice attachment for getting into small spaces and corners. I found that both were functional and easy to use. This vacuum easily pulled pet hair and dust off of my floors and furniture. It also handled dirt from the entryway, crumbs on the kitchen floor, and larger debris like cheerios. It felt more powerful than our old vacuums on rugs and carpets, leaving them feeling nice and clean. The dust container was large enough that I didn't have to empty it constantly. My one critique of this vacuum is that it feels somewhat large and clunky. As an upright vacuum, it didn't fit under chairs or other furniture and it didn't get as close to corners/edges of walls and cabinets, compared with other vacuums that I own. I was able to get at those areas with the hand attachments, but sometimes I want to do a quick vacuum of the kitchen or living room rug without moving furniture or bending over with an attachment, and I wasn't able to do that as effectively with this vacuum. Despite this flaw, I still think this is a great vacuum, especially for getting floors really clean and dust-free.
