I especially love using it for pet clean up—fur on carpets and rugs doesn't stand a chance. The detachable canister is super convenient for stairs and tight spots, and I appreciate how easy it is to empty. I've used it on hardwood, carpet, and area rugs, and it handled everything really well. The design is sleek, and it's simple to put together right out of the box thanks to being gifted by the stellar review panel. Overall, it's a solid vacuum that makes cleaning up after pets way less stressful.

The switch is clearly labeled plush carpet to low carpet as well as a switch to turn the rotating sweeper on or off. My only complaint with that is the switch to turn the vacuum on/off is not where i naturally expect it to be at the top of the vacuum. I loved the attachments that came with the vacuum and I LOVE that they attach directly to the vacuum itself. They will no longer be lost at the bottom of a storage closet. The small brush attachment was the best. We have thick molding at the base of our walls and this attachment was perfect for getting the dust out of the grooves. I also used it to clean the crevices in our upholstered dining set. The vacuum is heavier than our previous vacuum (but also better suction). But for the weight reason it wouldn’t be my first choice when vacuuming stairs. Overall, very happy!

We have a five level split layout with a mix of carpet, hardwoods, and rugs, plus two kids and a dog. To start with, my seven year old assembled this out of the box in about five minutes. This vacuum was amazing for getting into all of the nooks and crannies in the kitchen, for sucking all the crumbs and dog hair out of the sofa, and for getting into the crevices of the many staircases. Using it as a regular upright, the handling was great on both carpet and hardwoods and the suction power is amazing. I was skeptical about the liftoff portion, but it was great and made it really easy to get the stairs and under the island in the kitchen, between the stool legs. Overall, I think this is a great product and it met the needs of our family well. I was given this upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I would happily buy it myself after using it for several weeks.

I like that the vacuum is tall enough to be comfortable for me to use, I am 5'9". It's a nice looking machine, with clearly marked, large buttons for all controls, without any added unsightly colors. The foot is not overly wide, I find it fits under the edges of everything I have with ease. My favorite feature was the most amazing flexibility that it has with tight turns! The handle leans way down sideways to easily make low clearance corners. I found it has great cleaning power on carpet and tiled floors, it cleaned up everything I tried with ease, including hair, lint, sand and dry food crumbles. The power switch is clearly marked to turn the brush on or off depending on your needs. As much as I love this as an upright vacuum, I was pretty disappointed with the lift away option. It is heavy and bulky, as the entire pod lifts off the foot in one unit. It's cumbersome with the tall handle still attached but it does clean just as well using the hand tools. This vacuum has 3 filters, a HEPA that should be replaced twice a year and 2 other filters in and on the dust receptacle that are easily rinsed out and reinstalled. All in all, this is a great upright vacuum with really easy to operate controls, easy to clean/change filters, easy to empty dust receptacle, great maneuverability and really great cleaning power. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I think this vacuum is fantastic. Simple design with a medium weight to it. Was easy to unbox and took less than four minutes to assemble. This vacuum revitalized one of my beloved rugs in a high traffic area of the house. I have two kids it sucked up so much dust and dirt. After vacuuming my rugs they felt more fluffy. Also works great on hard wood floors. I like the wand feature the best. It releases nicely and makes the hard to reach places easy to clean. Turbobrush attachment was great for the couch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the pleasure of testing the CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum. Because I have a dog and cat that are both indoor, & also messy teenagers, I was definitely needing something to help with messes without spending a ton of time. This vacuum is the answer I've been looking for. First off, I absolutely love so many features about this vacuum. It has 2 different brushes that can be attached to the wand to tackle different messes. Having pets and kids, I thought it was genius to add these 2 tools to the vacuum. And they have a tool storage on both sides of the vacuum to store the brushes. The wand can be released with the click of a button - the same goes for the XL dirt tank, which is another thing I love. It's so easy to click a button to release the tank, empty the trash, then just click it right back on. The wand is great for those little quick messes that happen throughout the day too. My absolute favorite feature about this would be the swivel steering. The vacuum goes in literally any corner and makes cleaning those hard to reach places a breeze. You can also switch between plush carpet or hardwood flooring with the click of a button. I absolutely cannot recommend this vacuum enough. There's so many great things about it, but the best thing I've discovered since using it is that my son's allergies are nowhere near as bad as they were prior to using it. All in all, I firmly believe every household should own one, especially if you have inside pets or children. I would give this 10 stars if I could. I love how strong the suction is and it does a great job picking up messes my toddler makes and all the dog hair from my shedding dog. It’s great you can change it from hardwood floor to carpet to be able to use it on all surfaces. I frequently use the wand to pick up bigger pieces of food like gold fish my toddler drops. Although the wand can get clogged if It picks up something I didn’t intend to vacuum, it is super easy to unclog it. I do wish it had a light on it though. I find a light helps spot hair or dust I otherwise might have missed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd Bissell upright corded vacuum I've owned and I continue to be impressed! I received this vacuum through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and have used it with no problems. I have 2 black dogs and cream colored carpet on the entire 2nd floor of my house, so vacuums and I are good friends. This vacuum is extremely easy to empty, as well as take apart completely. THIS is important so that you can thoroughly clean the bin and filters from time to time to get all the dirt out so that your vacuum doesn't smell like a dog when you turn it on :) As much as I enjoy cordless vacuums for quick jobs, there is nothing like the power from a corded vacuum on carpet. The only reason this vacuum didn't get 5 stars from me is that I felt it was too lightweight to have enough suction power so really get down in the carpet for a deep clean. The light weight of it however is nice for when you use the lift off feature! That feature is great for cleaning my stairs. Another plus is this vacuum was SIMPLE to put together out of the box. The instructions were clear and concise.

The design is sleek and simple which is nice. We have two toddlers who make all kinds of messes and a dog that sheds a ton so we are vacuuming constantly! We have used it on carpet, laminate, and our living room rug and it has tackled it all. I love that it has a switch on the handle to accommodate differing plush levels on hard floors to carpet. Overall, very happy with this vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum, which I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, is easy to assemble, and easy to use - I love the swivel feature for navigating around corners and into tight spaces, and the wand feature is excellent. Previous upright vacuums that I have used have had just a hose attachment, and the vacuum tended to tip over when I was trying to reach farther with the hose. But with the wand, which pulls out super easily, I can navigate around rooms easily and get into all the nooks and crannies without the base tipping over (also really easy to pick up the base with my other hand and move it along with me when needed). Overall, for how lightweight the whole thing is in comparison to my previous vacuum, I feel like it powers above its weight in cleaning up crumbs around my kitchen hardwood floors (toddler life) and general mess/hairs on carpeted surfaces. My only complaint is that I really like a retractable cord feature, rather than the manual cord wrap-up when I am putting my vacuum away.
