I appreciate that you can see what you are picking up as you use the vacuum, so that you definitely know when it's time to empty out the waste. In my experience, the Max worked well for pet hair all over, and efficiently vacuumed up tracked dust, earth and debris on front hall/area rugs and wood floors. Because of its size and weight, I personally didn't enjoy using it on the stairs -- I do most of my cleaning with a baby sleeping in a carrier these days, so this likely affected my comfort with lugging this particular vacuum up and down stairs. For level spaces, this vacuum does the job in a fluid and easy manner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum was easy to assemble, which was important to me; not many pieces to connect and instructions were brief and concise, also important to me. The vacuum is compact and has places to hold its other pieces, a great feature, as to not lose them or just have to store them elsewhere. I’ve been using this on my carpet, and the amount of pet hair it has pulled up is astonishing. The kicker with that is I’ve been using another vacuum for years and it became clear to me how much that vacuum was missing. I could tell almost immediately that this vacuum seemed much more powerful, and I greatly appreciate being able to switch the setting depending on the flooring or type of carpet. Something else I love is how soft it makes my carpet feel, almost like new! I will say that pushing the vacuum is a bit heavy, but it’s worth it knowing how much it’s pulling from the carpet, it’s very satisfying being able to see it in the clear collection piece. Overall I’m very impressed with this vacuum, probably the nicest one I’ve ever used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was truly impressed with this vacuum! My initial thought was that it appeared to be a great quality straight out of the box. I was impressed with how easy the lift off feature was, it clicked right on and off without any hassle, but wasn't flimsy at all. I absolutely loved that the whole handle pulls out rather than just the flimsy tube- like my old one, this way I can use it standing up. My favorite use for this vacuum was cleaning my stairs. Trying to haul a whole vacuum up each step is such a pain and this avoids that. Just click the top off, pull out the handle, clip on the mini roller attachment and go. No tipping over vacuum falling down the stairs! When using the whole unit put together it is super powerful with multiple strength settings for lengths of carpet. One thing to be aware of is since it is so powerful be careful when vacuuming small or thin rugs it will try to suck them right up! It works on hard floors too, but is pretty bulky so it doesn't maneuver super easily or go under many things without pulling out the handle to get under things- which isn't bad just take a bit more time. And lastly as with most high powered vacuums it is quite loud. Overall I really enjoy it more than my old one, it is much easier for me to get around the stairs, much more powerful, handles pet hair great (three long haired dogs), and it is quick and easy to disassemble and clean. Really recommend and am very satisfied with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you need a powerful vacuum, this is it! We are a household with kids and a dog and they were no match for the Cleanview Max Lift-Off. The design is simple and easy to use/ set up. We have mostly wood floors with area rugs. The vacuum easily switched between the two types of flooring and needed just one pass to collect all the dirt and dog hair in its path. While it is heavier than other vacuums I have used, I really appreciated that the tools were easy to use on our furniture and it cut my cleaning time substantially.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a vacuum I would highly recommend. It has very powerful suction and cleaned our carpets better than any other I have tried before. The roller brush never seemed to get wrapped with hair and was pulling up dust/dirt/pet hair that had clearly been in our carpet for awhile. We have a cat, a dog, and live on a small horse farm. Even after we vacuumed with our old vacuum or after our cleaners came we would still get more out with this CleanView Max Lift-off immediately afterwards. I did find that it had trouble with small things like tracked in gravel or little tid bits of left over sweet potato chews from our dog. Those we had to pick up by hand and it has a shorter cord than I am used to so it was a little annoying having to move plugs so often and that’s why I can’t give this vacuum 5 stars but I do still love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thw Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off is a decent vacuum but not overly impressive in any way. It's design is pleasant and functional. It's heavier than I expected for its size and it's maneuverability was awkard. found it a bit lacking in cleaning power. I used it on hardwood, tile, and area rugs. I didn't find it's suction to be great on the wood or tile floors. The turbo brush attachment stops turning completely when pressed against any upholstery or furniture, even with very little pressure, making useless. The vacuum works, but its not great. I wouldn't recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box, I absolutely loved the design of the vacuum! It’s a nice, slightly compact, size. The deep blue with black and dark gray of the “see through” canister go so well together. I love how easily the top half detaches from the main base for higher cleaning, and how everything is clearly labeled for use. No questioning what went where or how to use. The top half is also pretty light! I can easily manage it holding with one hand. Used for cleansing carpet, laminate and the couches; it did a great job on all! Mostly pet hair and small dirt, but our dog also loves to pull the trash can out and apart if left alone and it did a great job of cleaning up the mess (including all of the tiny coffee grounds). The size of the vacuum has been my favorite feature so far. It fits so nicely in the closet without taking too much space and with it being somewhat compact the weight is so easy to manage as well with carrying up and down the stairs and taken apart!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received the CleanView max lift of vacuum we were immediately impressed by the look of the machine and the filter system. The clear reservoir was very helpful when vacuuming our main level carpet. It was easy to see right away how well the machine performed. I also used it on our wood floor level in place of sweeping crumbs. The simple adjustment settings make it easy to move from each level. My only complaint is that the cord is shorter than I’m used to so I had to stop and plug into a new outlet a few times. However, the effectiveness of the machine makes this an easy compromise to make. We also loved the hose feature and attachments. Again, it is very easy to change quickly to this mode of cleaning. The suction of the hose was strong and I easily cleaned our carpeted stairs and well as any tight corners in the house. My favorite feature, and something I had not seen before, was the clear view of the spinning brush. We have two family members with long hair and have had to untangle it from our previous vacuum often. I have been using the clear view vacuum for several weeks and the brush is still clear of hair! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall we really liked this vacuum. We have two toddlers as well as two large dogs in our household. We have a mix of carpet, hardwoods and tiles and we felt like this vacuum could tackle messes on all floor types. I do wish it had a retractable cable but that’s a personal preference. The power on the upholstery cleaner attachment could be a little bit stronger but does the job for the most part. It’s hard to find anything strong enough to clean up after two dogs!! I did not see a difference in strength between the high carpet and low carpet settings. The manual suggests to not use the brush roll when vacuuming hardwoods and tiles but I felt that it worked better if the brush roll was turned on. By doing this, it does mean that the vacuum is fairly loud when using on anything but carpet. Overall the quality of the product is very good and is a useful vacuum for a home with numerous floor types, pets, and kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little skeptical at first because the CleanView Max Lift-Off is so much lighter than my previous corded vacuum … so I wondered if it would be as powerful, have equivalent suction capacity, clean my house as well as my old one did, etc. I shouldn’t have worried! It’s lighter but so much smoother (SO MUCH SMOOTHER), easier to maneuver, the profile is smaller and the wheeled vacuum can fit in smaller spaces, and the wand detaches easily and seamlessly. My one complaint is that I wish the cord was a little longer (I’d previously figured out exactly how many times I’d have to unplug and replug my old vacuum and where and now am trying to determine that new routine – but know that I have to do so more than I used to in order to hit all of the areas of my house. The first time I used it, I was astonished at how much it picked up. Yes, it’s dusty right now and cottonwood is falling from the trees, which made me think that it might be picking up more than normal. But I think it’s that the CleanView Max Lift-Off actually picks up more than my old vacuum did. I mean, look at the picture! That was from it’s inaugural spin through our downstairs, which is a mix of hardwood, tile, and carpet (and most of that is insane dust, etc. from the carpet). I was delighted but also a little grossed out. Overall, I like the look and feel and maneuverability of this vacuum. I like that it’s mostly black and don’t mind the blue accents (it’s much better than my previous purple one!). The lighter weight and less heavy duty plastic made me think it might be insubstantial or cheap but I haven’t found that at all. Thus far it has helped tackle messes made by three young kids and two adults and it’s so satisfying to hear it suck up mess from under the dinner table! I’d definitely recommend this vacuum and really my rating is 4.5 stars – 5 stars if there was a longer cord! I’m so glad to have it help me clean the house!
