I have a high pile rug in my living room and I do clean it often but the first run on with this vacuum the thing was pretty much full with dirt and dust. I couldn't believe it. I think the brush does a fantastic job. It doesn't get hair tangled, which is huge because my hair gets everywhere. It has some really great features like the ability to remove the pod to help do stairs and reach higher places. It's not a very heavy vacuum which is nice. I really love this vacuum and I have already tossed my old one. I received this product for free from the stellar product testing panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as it arrived, I needed to put it up against my old vacuum. I was blown away at how much ‘stuff' the CleanView Max Lift-Off picked up after I had just vacuumed. Why did I put up with a vacuum that didn't pick everything up? Plus being able to see all the grime and as pretty cool. Having kids that track in all the outdoor things, I was ready to put it to the test after our first trial! It did amazing at cleaning up the dried mud, wood shavings, leaf pieces, etc. The CleanView did great on my area rugs and hardwood floors, however the switching between rug and floor was not great. It left stuff behind when I didn't have enough space to be fully on one or the other. I also trialed it on my carpet but felt like it was heavy and a little bit harder to maneuver. Overall it does a great job when focusing on a specific type of flooring. I love that all the attachments have a home on the machine vs trying to keep track of where I put them when they are needed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I really like the Bissell CleanView Max. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and has strong suction. I’ve used it on hardwood floors, high-pile carpet, and low-pile rugs—it transitions smoothly between all three, which was a pleasant surprise. The design made it easy to clean our couch and curtains, too. Assembly was a breeze, and emptying the canister is quick and mess-free. The almost-modular design makes it incredibly functional. One of my favorite features is the lift-away option—it made vacuuming the couch much easier without having to awkwardly drag the entire unit around. I also really appreciate how the hose separates for extension use. It's a much more convenient and user-friendly design compared to traditional vacuums, making it easier to tackle baseboards, corners, and furniture. That said, a few small cons: 1. I couldn’t find a cord holder clip—maybe I missed it, but if it’s not there, that’s a little inconvenient. 2. I wish it had a retractable cord instead of a manual wind-up. 3. Some attachments could be better. The pet hair tool, for example, doesn’t spin very well when used on upholstery like a couch. Despite those minor issues, this vacuum delivers great value and functionality. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an effective vacuum with thoughtful design features.

This vacuum was powerful and effective on my hardwood floor and short rug surfaces. It is important to note that dog hair is a factor in my home and this vacuum easily cleaned these surfaces. I especially loved the lift off feature to make the vacuum more mobile. The one downside of this vacuum is its ability to clean shag carpet. We had a longer carpet which the brush kept catching on making it difficult to clean productively. Overall, this is a great vacuum especially with dog/pet hair. I would absolutely recommend.

The hose detaches in two places, very similar to a competitors product, and is so helpful when trying to vacuum ceiling corners (my personal pet peeve). The suction is strong and dirt trap is very easy to clean. I was appalled at the amount of dirt collected from my first pass on carpeted floor, which I thought looked fairly clean - see photo. It’s very lightweight and doesn’t feel like you’re lugging around heavy machinery like some other vacuums.

After being in need of something that would be easier to move around the house, I was intrigued by the design and the way the canister/hose could detach from the base. After putting the vacuum together, I instantly started cleaning the hard wood floors of my kitchen. Having young kids and pets, the edges of my cabinets collect a lot of crumbs and hair. This vacuum moved around with ease and picked up all the crumbs in one pass. Overall, it has pretty good power. Detaching the canister/hose is super simple. It comes off with ease at the push of a button and goes back on just as easily. I was able to easily navigate around my kitchen and then moved to my carpeted stairs which collect a lot of dog hair, leaves, dust and crumbs. . It's really quite the innovative design! Tackling the stairs was a lot easier with the detachable canister. The only slightly tough piece is that the cord is still attached to the main unit, so although it's still a good length, it can be a bit cumbersome. At the end of the day, this is an impressive vacuum that really has a unique and innovative, with good suction power. It's easy to use/clean and is at just the right price point to be attainable, while also giving a unique design. I highly recommend it!

It does a great job on carpet and hardwood, and the lift-away feature makes it easy to vacuum my carpeted steps. Maybe the first time my carpeted floors have felt truly clean in years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a cordless stick vacuum girl for a long time. I hate dealing with the cord on the upright vacuums. I thought my little cordless vacuum was doing a great job until… enter the CleanView® Max Lift-Off. The vacuum set up was super easy and intuitive. The buttons are clearly marked so it was easy to figure out without having to read the instructions. Its moderately heavy to pick up and move around which could pose a problem for some. I gave it a test run in our upstairs which is entirely carpeted. I was surprised at how powerful the suction was. It left nice clean lines in my carpet which was very satisfying. It is quieter than I expected for how big it is but a little tough to push around. I got a good workout vacuuming the whole upstairs. It was definitely harder to maneuver when the brush roll is running (which is all the time on carpet). But when you switch the brush roll off, it becomes safe for my hardwood floors. Once I finished vacuuming our upstairs areas, I took a look at the clear dirt tank and I couldn’t believe my eyes! It was completely FULL! Ya’ll, I vacuum pretty frequently so I was astounded that the Bissell was able to pull that much dirt from my carpets. I was simultaneously disgusted and delighted at the same time. I have 3 very active kids, 2 of them with long hair. There was hair wound up around the filter inside the dirt tank but surprisingly not much around the spin brush, which was good. I wasn't sure I would find value in the Lift-Away feature. However, when I separated the body from the wand and cleaner head, I was impressed. It became much lighter and I could reach under furniture and tackle the stairs with ease. I used the attachments to clean the crevices and my stairs have never looked so clean. My only complaint was that it whistled when I used the TurboBrush attachment- likely from the amount of suction going through the small brush head. I guess there won’t be any vacuuming after the kids go to bed. I tested it on our hardwood floors as well and appreciated that it picked up all the dirt on the first pass. It even did a great job with dirt against the wall and grabbed everything without me needing to break out the hand tools. Emptying the dustbin was super straight forward, allowing the dirt to exit with the press of a button. I also appreciate all the filters so I wasn’t having to breathe in tiny dirt particles while I cleaned. Overall, I am super happy with the Clearview Max. It does a fantastic job of sucking out that deep ground-in dirt from our carpets. I wish the cord was longer so I could vacuum more area without being tethered to the wall but I’ll deal with that knowing what a thorough cleaning I’ll get thanks to the fantastic suction!

I’m in my mid-40s and have had several vacuums (even the fancy ones you break the bank to get) and this is BY FAR my favorite ever. You will not regret getting this amazing vacuum cleaner. Big thank you to Stellar Panel for giving us this vacuum to test out and review. A lot of thought was put into the design of the vacuum and it covers all bases. - It’s lightweight and super easy to maneuver even around corners and in tight spaces thanks to the ball joint steering system. No one likes a heavy vacuum that requires 10 point turns to get to the spots you need and this vacuum performs beautifully at avoiding that. - We have stairs and I LOVE the ability to detach the canister from the larger unit. It makes vacuuming stairs and higher locations like the ceiling fan and AC intake really simple. - There are super helpful attachments and not a dozen useless ones you’ll never use. This comes with a smaller vacuum head you can attach to the hose which is great for getting pet hair off furniture or vacuuming smaller items. There’s also an edger with an attached brush you can slide up or down as needed. The hose has an easy to hold handle that makes things so easy. Use the handle and the edger and your baseboards will be spotless and it’s so simple! - The hepa filter and secure canister makes sure that what I vacuum up stays in the canister in not in our air. This is important to me because we have asthmatics in our family. - I vacuumed our home with our old vacuum and then immediately send back over everything with this one and was amazed at what it pulled up. Lots of dust, lint and hair that the other vacuum missed. This is the perfect vacuum and I recommend it for anyone. You can’t go wrong with this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this Bissell vacuum exceeded my expectations. It's a true workhorse. The motor is not only strong, it is powerful. For my first use, I challenged this vacuum in a carpeted room that rarely gets vacuumed but is heavy with dog hair. Within 10 seconds, the canister was jam-packed with hair then filled several more times. It also raised the nap of the older carpet, like it hasn't looked in years. I knew then this was one amazing vacuum. But there are many other great features. My favorite is that the whole handle doubles as the hose wand with a quick click from the base. No need to attach extension tubes. This is genius! And with a great vacuum comes great attachments. The power brush has stiff bristles and great suction. Plus, it can be taken apart for cleaning. And the 2-in-1 crevice tool has a conveniently attached brush that clicks into place when needed or raises when not in use. The one-click detachment of the lift-off canister is super easy and so convenient for maximizing functionality and simplifying the chore. I also like the swivel steering, which really helps the vacuum reach under furniture. There are two filters onboard and a switch to stop the brush roll. There are several release buttons on the vacuum and they are all simple and work with ease. This vacuum is premium quality and top-of-the-line. It is made with durable, high-grade materials and it's built to last. I am beyond impressed with this vacuum's ability and features. I have no doubt it can tackle any pet hair nightmare.
