My dog sheds a ton and this really cleans up my carpets and hardwood floors. It has a great suction and is easy to clean. The hose works well as well as the part you can take off and do stairs and furniture. Easy to store too! So impressed!

It definitely provides a bit of an arm workout on the carpet, but it glides effortlessly on hard floors. I've used this vacuum a handful of times on my 4 carpeted bedrooms now and to say I was embarrassed by what was in the canister after the first use is an understatement! I have 8 year old builder grade carpets and it leaves lovely little carpet lines even in heavily trafficked areas! I appreciate how close the vacuum head gets to baseboards it's one of my biggest gripes with floor cleaning appliances. So easy to empty the canister with a click of a button. The removable wand comes off so easily and doesn't require anything other than a button push. No pulling tubes or removing pieces to get access. I used the turbo head attachment to remove sand from the back of my car after a beach trip. Haven't had carpet lines in my car since I bought it! PROS: If you enjoy rage vacuuming tiny toys in your kids room then this little guy will work well for you, I heard many little clinks through the canister while I was vacuuming our playroom. Exponentially lighter than vacuums I've owned in the past. CONS: Shorter power cord than I'd like but it's not a deal breaker. If you lean too much it will lock the vacuum head back in stationary position. Again not a deal breaker but can be annoying if you do it a handful of times.

I used this vacuum on our bedroom rug after recently vacuuming with my old one and was disgusted by the amount of dirt and hair that it sucked up that had been left behind previously. The suction was incredible and quickly self-adjusted between my hard floors and rugs. The lift-off detachable pod and extension wand make it easy to move around - I don't even mind it being corded. I don't usually love vacuuming, but it maneuvers so easily that I've been finding myself vacuuming baseboards, light fixtures, and all sorts of hard-to-reach places I would normally ignore. It's slim, easy to store, and you don't have to wait for a battery charge. Best of all, it's lightweight enough that my five year old son can use it too - a bonus for any mom!

This is a fantastic lightweight upright vacuum that’s made a huge difference in how easily I can keep my house clean—especially with two kids, a dog and a cat running around. One of the first things I noticed is how satisfying it is to actually see all the dirt and hair being trapped in the canister. It’s oddly motivating and really gives a sense of how effective the vacuum is. The suction is extremely powerful—it easily picked up dog hair, cat hair, human hair, and the usual kid messes without a problem. Another big plus: it worked flawlessly on all floor types in my home which includes hardwood, tile, area rugs, and carpet. Switching between surfaces was seamless, and I never felt like I had to go over the same spot multiple times. The lightweight design was also a game changer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with this vacuum. The amount of dust and particles it collects is astonishing, and the suction feels solid. My carpet even looked a slightly different color after running this vacuum over it. At first I thought the vacuum was a bit heavy to push, but I realized that I just had it on the wrong setting for carpet height, and as soon as I got that right, it actually moves really well! Its satisfying to see it collect so much dust, and I really appreciate that the chamber can be emptied without having to touch any of the contents. I really like the turbo brush accessory, it helps me get the harder to reach spaces, and seems to work a ton better than just a typical wide mouth attachment. It was not my experience that the floor roller is completely tangle free, it still caught a lot of hair that rolled around it, but it wasn't a crazy amount that it became unusable. And there was a lot more hair inside of the vacuum chamber than on the roller, so it still works pretty well. I used this on a lot of carpet, hardwood and bathroom floors, and I don't necessarily felt like it favored one. It removed stuff from all surfaces extremely well. The lift off feature is cool, though I didn't find much opportunity to use it yet, I think I like keeping the vacuum propped on the floor. For cord management, if I remember to keep the power cord hooked at the top of the hook for the vacuum cleaner, I have a much smoother experience and the cord stays out of the way without me having to use it. So overall, yes I am extremely impressed and pleased with the vacuum, it helps me keep things satisfyingly clean. Nothing about my experience using it is frustrating, it does what I want it to.

As soon as this one was delivered I used it outside on our outdoor rug! We loved the color of the vacuum and the fact it picked up EVERYTHING. The suction was so strong and even on hardwood we didn’t even need a high setting to get everything. When switching to a low rug it had great features to guide us on what settings and it was easy to navigate. We used the detachable handle and used it on the stairs of our home which has rugs as well and it picked everything up with ease no clogging! I loved that we could adjust the power of suction sometimes we need to suction the top of our bed cause our toddler likes to climb up and eat crackers. This makes it easier to get everything without taking the sheets clean off.

I easily assembled this vacuum and was pleased with the ease of its functions. My overall impression of this vacuum is that it is very user friendly. A few clicks with a couple of parts directly out of the box and I was ready to test the product! The overall look of the vacuum is very sleek. There are not any complicated attachments or buttons. A switch located at the top of the vacuum easily changes modes from use of roller to non roller function. A second button adjusts modes from carpet to non carpet surfaces. With one touch of a switch, the vacuum easily lifts off to tackle those hard to reach places. To my pleasant surprise, the attached hose was longer than any other vacuum I have ever utilized. That added to even greater ease of reaching places that typical vacuums can’t get to. I also love how the attachments all had a storage spot on the vacuum. They’re not going to get lost and forgotten in a cabinet as they remain attached to the vacuum when in use. In terms of the vacuum’s cleaning power, everyday messes were easily gone. It also easily picks up pet hair. Because the vacuum has a clear canister, you can see everything that has been picked up after vacuuming. I was surprised to see how much the vacuum suctioned out of what I thought was very clean carpeting. In our home, we have many types of flooring. I was pleased to see the vacuum easily transitions from hardwood flooring, to area rugs, to carpeting, and even tile floors! With one click of the button, the vacuum easily adjusts to all different types of flooring. That is extremely helpful for busy moms who are trying to clean up quickly in a few spare moments. My favorite feature of this vacuum is its user friendliness. From the ease of transition to many typesof flooring, extra long hose, attachments that remain on the vacuum itself, you don’t have to be bothered by using multiple devices to clean your entire home. This vacuum doesit all! As a result, it is a time saver which anyone can appreciate. One downfall of this vacuum is that at times it can feel a bit heavy to push on carpeting that is thick. However, there is a sliding button to adjust from plush carpet to bare flooring as previously stated. I also observed it to be a bit louder than some other vacuums that I have tried. However, with all of its positive features, ease of use, and powerful suction, I would highly recommend the purchase of this vacuum!

This was SUPER easy to put together and looks nice. The suction is great and was able to get up a ton of hair in a quick amount of time - no clogging either. We have had pet vacuums in the past, so I was excited to try this one. I took one sweep down the carpet and checked the container…wow. It picked up so much in just one strip I was instantly impressed. I love that it has settings for carpet and wood/tile as we have all of these surfaces in our home. I loved the wand that detaches and has a small brush perfect for cleaning my vents that are high on our walls. The only feature I wish it had is a light as sometimes it’s hard to see in the corners or on the stairs. I would absolutely purchase this again if I needed a pet vacuum. While there are no pets in my family, we do have a 2.5 year old toddler and there are lots of messes. Some of the things we loved about the vacuum is its strong suction power and the lift-off feature of the detachable canister. In our last vacuum it felt as if we were going over the same spot multiple times and the debris was just not being sucked up. The CleanView’s suction power is so strong, I can get dirt out of the most hard to reach corners and crevices without any hassle. The lift-off feature and the attachments provide a great versatility in the various places that are otherwise hard to get to such as our stairs, shutter blinds, and the crevices of our son’s high chair. We also have various surfaces in our house - carpet, tile flooring, area rugs - and it’s worked out great in each of the areas. Some areas where there is room for improvement would be its weight and smaller hose length. The lift off feature helps reduce weight when in that mode, however maneuvering the vacuum up and down stairs may be problematic for elderly, or in my case, pregnant individuals. Overall, the pros in our case did outweigh the cons. The Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum cleaner is a solid choice for those seeking a versatile cleaning solution, particularly in homes with pets or young children.
