Straight out of the box, my first thought was that I was going to have to spend a bunch of time putting it together but it was actually a very simple set of steps that just snap together. It also turns out that each of those parts are pieces that you can take apart later to use in different "modes" anyway, so there really isn't any complex assembly to speak of. This vacuum has a lot of different options including a long wand with a narrow tip, a hose connection with a specialty Turbo Brush and a "lift off pod" so you can really be mobile and vacuum into spaces that you maybe couldn't haul another bulkier vacuum. The versatility of this vacuum is great, especially if you have kids and pets whose messes get into really tight spaces. I tested this on hardwood, carpet and rugs and it was equally effective on all 3, as well as using the hose and wand connections up on countertops and furniture. What I was looking for was if it was actually picking up the mess or just moving it around and I was glad to see that it left the area perfectly clean. The brushes also actually pulled things up into the canister as opposed to shooting them across the room, which I've had some vacuums do in the past. It's also very lightweight, so it's easy to move around the house. I have kids and a cat and a long haired dog, so it was really a trial for this thing and I'm glad to say that it passed the test. The dog hair was pulled right in and did not get immediately clogged in the brush. The canister is really easy to empty too, you just lift off with one button and then push one button to dump out the bottom. You don't have to get your hands involved. This may not be as fancy looking as some more expensive vacuums, but I still think it's nice looking and it's definitely effective at doing it's job which is the whole point of a vacuum. If you need to clean your house and you want some extra options and accessories, this is a great bet.

I was both deeply impressed and honestly disgusted by the amount of dust, debris, and cat fur this powerful vacuum pulled up. Seeing it swirl around the clear canister was both horrifying and incredibly satisfying. I thought I was doing a decent job keeping my floors clean, but this vacuum exposed the truth. After just one use, my home felt cleaner and I felt motivated to vacuum more often. I started vacuuming more thoroughly to see how much dirt it could catch: a lot. A few drawbacks to note. It's definitely heavy, so carrying it up and down stairs isn't effortless. Also, I found the cord got in the way more than I'd like, and I really missed having a retractable cord—it's a small thing, but makes a big difference when you're cleaning frequently. Despite those minor cons, this vacuum has totally upped my cleaning game. If you're looking for something powerful and oddly motivating, the BISSELL CleanView Max Lift-Off delivers. I couldn't be more pleased with the Clean View Max Lift-Off Vacuum! Right out of the box, I was impressed by its sleek, modern design. It looks great and feels thoughtfully made—sturdy but not bulky. As someone who's currently pregnant, I especially appreciate how lightweight and easy it is to maneuver. I definitely didn't want to be dragging a heavy vacuum up and down the stairs, and with this one, I don't have to! The cleaning power is amazing. It tackled everything from pet hair to crumbs and dirt with ease. I've used it on hardwood, area rugs, and carpet, and it performed beautifully on each surface. It transitions seamlessly and leaves every area feeling truly clean. My favorite feature is the lift-off canister. It's such a lifesaver for stairs, tight corners, and even quick spot-cleaning jobs. Being able to detach it and carry it around makes vacuuming feel so much more manageable—especially right now when I need to avoid heavy lifting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impression of the CleanView® Max Lift-Off was the product was extremely easy to assemble out of the box and had a good size and weight - not too heavy to move around and not to big to store neatly away! As I have all sorts of flooring and surface types (hardwood, tile, medium carpet, rugs, upholstery on couches and chairs...) I was hopeful it would be able to tackle anything I threw at it. The first thing I noticed when turning it on was the incredible power - it felt like it was sucking up the nails holding the floor down! I went from low carpet to rug to tile to wood floor back to rugs easily with the click of a switch without having to think much about it or turn the vacuum off. I then used all the attachments to get on and in my couches and along the walls (I have a 3.5yo and furbabies... so let's be real - it needed to happen) and the different types of attachments were easy to interchange and use seamlessly. The lift off feature was a dream for this process! By far my favorite feature was the turbo brush attachment! No crumbs, fur, dirt, or woodchips (to name a few!) Stood a chance against that attachment - it was awesome! Another feature I enjoyed greatly is the HEPA sealed/allergen system. With a new baby in the house, it makes me feel good about how things are being cleaned. Definitely a keeper and will be referring friends to this mighty machine! It is VERY lightweight for a heavy duty, corded vacuum. I love the attachment storage right in the sides on the vacuum itself. The lift off feature is also a favorite. I can easily vacuum couches and carpeted stairs with this feature. I also found myself vacuuming baseboards, when I wouldn't have previously just because it was so easy and light weight. I used this vacuum on carpet, rugs, hardwood floors, baseboards, and couches and was impressed on each surface. I had recently vacuumed with our older vacuum from another brand and was astounded at how much the CleanView Max Lift Off collected! I will be recommending this vacuum and the price point is also desirable !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This vacuum definitely surprised me, it looks VERY high end with the sleek black colors & clear dust tank/brush roll. I immediately used it on my area rug that was covered in hair & seamlessly switched to hard wood, zero problems. I was shocked to see what the previous vacuum had missed including all the hair it seemed to find & didn’t get stuck around the brush roll. It even tackled cleaning my furniture upholstery with the attachment. My favorite is the suction power, it basically self propels. I can even vacuum with my kid in the room now thanks to the HEPA filter. My only complaint is there isn’t a light on the front, that would be a phenomenal addition. I was able to clean 4 rooms & a hallway all with carpet & hardwood before having to empty the XL dust tank. It’s super convenient using the lift off feature to clean ceilings, corners, light fixtures, etc. Again, I’m shocked at the extreme power this vacuum brings!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have become a huge fan of the Bissell Cleanview Max Lift-Off vacuum because of its powerful suction and cleaning capabilities. This vacuum is not too bulky or heavy making it easy to take up or down stairs. I was shocked by the results achieved in my home with this vacuum, it works great. The vacuum was easy to assemble out of the box and it is a very user-friendly product. I like the length of the cord which allows me to access 1 or 2 rooms without unplugging it. The attachments that are included for the detachable wand are useful for various cleaning situations, small cracks, etc. I love how easily the vacuum glides across floors, whether they be carpet or hardwood. The vacuum swivels as you push so you can get around furniture or other items quickly. You can adjust settings on the brush rollers so that the vacuum better cleans depending on hard or carpeted floors. The filters are easy to remove, clean and replace. I was shocked the first time I used this vacuum. I had vacuumed a large rug with another cleaner, but when I went back over the same rug with the Bissell Cleanview Max Lift-Off the tank contained debris that clearly was missed before! I loved being able to see how much I was cleaning out of the rugs, carpets and floors through my home. I am so glad I have this vacuum to help keep my home clean! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this vacuum! I dare to think how much dirt, dog hairs and debris I have left behind with my old vacuum. It is so efficient and very easy to push. My old vacuum was very heavy. The swivel head makes getting into tight spaces much easier. On my first use I collected an unbelievable amount of dog hairs and dirt. My subsequent uses produced much less. That led me to the conclusion that this vacuum is a work horse! I feel very confident that this vacuum is performing just as it should. My only complaint and the reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 is the cord placement. It sets to low and if not held up with your hand there is a tendency to run over it, which is frustrating. The canister empties very easily and the attachments are an added bonus, especially for the stairs. There is a bare floor option and it is very easy to go from rug to floor and vice versa. I would definitely recommend this vacuum to anyone and especially if you have pets!

When I first used it I had already vacuumed with a different one. I was baffled what this vacuum got out of a house that I though was clean. The design is thoughtful and light weight, making it perfect for cleaning across the whole house. I love that all the attachments store directly on the vacuum itself. The liftoff feature is incredibly convenient! I was able to use it paired with the nozzle attachment to clean baseboards, vents, and even dust off the ceiling. The power tool erased any trace of hair off my furniture. When it came to floors my hardwood and rugs were left feeling spotless. The suction was powerful, and I love being able to customize it for the type of flooring I’m cleaning. Being able to choose the suction power and use of the roller makes it very versatile! The features are all so well designed and work seamlessly together to make this the ultimate cleaning machine! Overall it’s a 10/10 from me!

Because it is a fairly large type of vacuum, it looks fairly sleek and compact, considering its suction power. What did you think of the cleaning power? What types of messes did it help you tackle? We used the vacuum to clean up after our young kids finished dinner, played in the living room, and in the mud room (which typically gets pretty messy). This is a combination of hardwood and rugged surfaces. We plan on using it upstairs in our fully carpeted rooms, but have not had a chance to bring it up yet. This vacuum is designed for mess cleanup. It is a bit heavy and has a lot of great parts that we can use for different types of surfaces or vacuuming needs. The one thing that I wish it had was a wet vac option - however, I understand that it would require a different component. Overall, we are very happy with this vacuum cleaner, especially because it can be used on our couches, floors, rugs, and carpets.
