It is VERY lightweight for a heavy duty, corded vacuum. I love the attachment storage right in the sides on the vacuum itself. The lift off feature is also a favorite. I can easily vacuum couches and carpeted stairs with this feature. I also found myself vacuuming baseboards, when I wouldn't have previously just because it was so easy and light weight. I used this vacuum on carpet, rugs, hardwood floors, baseboards, and couches and was impressed on each surface. I had recently vacuumed with our older vacuum from another brand and was astounded at how much the CleanView Max Lift Off collected! I will be recommending this vacuum and the price point is also desirable !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this vacuum. First off it is so lightweight compared to my other vacuums, both in pushing and carrying. It rolls well and has good steering/ ease of flexing at the angle you need. I used it to clean my tile floors, carpets and stairs. It was easy to use on the flat surfaces and has the nice hard floor/ carpet setting to help get through the appropriate surface. It is light enough to easily carry up the stairs as I go and not worry about falling down them. I had vacuumed my floor not long before and then broke this one out to see how well it would do and I was shocked by the amount of stuff it pulled up, in a very good way! It seems to have a wider roller which is maybe what contributes to the none sticking roller it claims to have. I have not had any issues with the roller getting stuck yet and we have 2 dogs and 2 kiddos and 2 long haired gals in the house. It cleans up really well. Easy to detach and empty without making a mess. I like the simple clean design overall. Simple but good accessories with the smaller roller brush and wand attachment. It only has the longer wand detachment, not the hand shorter one but that was ok to me. Highly recommend this vacuum.

TLDR - It's a solid replacement for your primary vacuum if you're in a smaller home with carpet + hardwood + pets. If you have carpeted stairs - this one is a MUST. The main drawbacks are weight (it's quite heavy without using the lift off feature), and the chamber size, which is mostly adequate for cleaning around 1,500 sq feet at a time (not necessarily ideal if you have a massive house with lots of pets). After using the CleanView® Max Lift-Off for 2 weeks, here are my honest thoughts: PROS: - Assembly - 5/5 - SUPER easy. You can basically fit all of the parts together right out of the box, and there's a helpful guide attached to the handle if you happen to need some tips. - Suction - 4/5 - Great. I felt like the hardwood suction and carpet suction were both solid. The primary reason for not giving it a 5/5 is because of the clunkiness of the vacuum head which takes away from suction effectiveness (noted more below) - Lift-Off Feature - 5/5 - LOVED this for cleaning my carpeted stairs. Was also helpful on our larger fabric sectional. I feel like if you have carpeted stairs you dread cleaning, this is the product for you. - Durability - Seems pretty durable, as is the case with all my Bissell products. I love the brand in general and find that it's a great investment for a mid-range priced product. - Cleaning the chamber - 5/5 - Again, super easy, as is the case with all Bissell products I've used CONS: - Heavy - The vacuum itself is heavy. It's definitely something you'd be using as your more heavy duty vaccum. Which brings me to my next point... - Chamber size - while easy to clean, the chamber itself needed a refresh after cleaning around 1,000 sq feet of carpet + hardwood with 2 furry dogs at home. If your house is on the bigger size, you might find yourself cleaning it out a few times in a single session. FWIW, I vacuum regularly (around 2-3 times per week). - Clunkiness - In addition to the weight, the front of the vacuum head seems somewhat clunky, it wasn't great for hard to reach spaces or under counter edges. It also felt a little loud / strange to maneuver over hardwood. Not as smooth as my older Bissell model I've been using for a while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this vacuum I thought it looked really similar to another higher end product I've tried. It looks really nice. I immediately wanted to tackle my bedroom carpet and was thoroughly disgusted with myself when I saw what this vacuum sucked up within 5 minutes! I have been using a cordless vac for a while now and it's never even gotten close to the amount of dirt and cat hair that the CleanView Max Lift-Off got out of my carpet. I then decided to try it on my “washable” area rug in my living room. I am very pleased as I cannot use any other vacuum on that rug. Usually any other vacuum will stall out because it sucks the rug right up into the vacuum. Not this one! On the plush carpet setting with the roller turned on it perfectly vacuums my thin rug with no issues and pulls out a crazy amount of dirt. One thing that would improve this vacuum is that I would like there to be headlights. I will also add that this is supposed to be a tangle free brush roll. Hair did wrap around the brush roll but it was very easy to pull off. I have to take scissors to my other vacuum. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As a mom to two messy toddler boys, I definitely value an effective and powerful vacuum. Unfortunately, this one is actually too powerful, which I discovered the first time I used it, when it nearly filled the dust bin with carpet fibers. Hoping it had been a fluke, I tried to vacuum the same area of carpet a second and third time (to make sure), and each time, the strength of the brushroll and suction took up bits and pieces of my carpet. Granted, I live in an apartment, so I'm sure the carpet is not of the highest quality. However, I cannot use a vacuum that destroys my carpet. This vacuum has many pros: - Attractive look and design - Easy assembly/disassembly - Long extension wand - Easy to use - Dust bin is intuitive and easy to empty - Useful accessories - Powerful suction Cons: - Gets a little hot when used - Has a funny smell the first time or two that it's used - Suction/brushroll combination is so powerful that it actually suctions up the carpet itself I am truly impressed with the suction power of this vacuum, so much so that I may keep it so that I can use the extensions to clean things like air vents, baseboards, etc. However, I cannot recommend this vacuum because the main brushroll is so powerful that it is actually destructive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is very sleek and modern looking. It was very easy to unbox and click the pieces together. The cleaning power of this vacuum was very powerful. I vacuumed hardwood, area rugs, and my couch. It tackled dog hair and crumbs with ease. The hose adaptor attachment for the couch was so strong it was fantastic on my sofa. There was no back and forth swiping the same spot to get any mess up, especially dog hair. The best part was probably how easy it was to empty the basic. A push of the button opens the “hatch” on the canister and it dumps out the bottom which made it so easy to empty. Between the powerful suction and the ease of dumping, this is by far my favorite vacuum I have used. It also left very nice vacuum clean lines in my carpet.

After moving into a new house recently with way more carpet than we had before, I've been so impressed with the CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum. From the moment I took it out of the box, it was easy to set up and incredibly lightweight—which makes a big difference when you're vacuuming often as I am. With three kids, our house is full of the usual daily messes—crumbs, dirt, and whatever else ends up on the floor—and this vacuum has handled it all without a problem. I've also used it on our hardwood floors, and it transitions seamlessly between surfaces without scattering dirt or leaving anything behind, like my other vaccuums did. My favorite feature is the Lift-Off canister. It's so convenient for cleaning stairs, furniture, and hard-to-reach spots without having to maneuver the entire vacuum. We recently hosted extended family, including a lot of little kids, and this vacuum honestly became my best friend that week. It kept our space clean and saved me a lot of time and stress. Overall, it's been a fantastic addition to our home—and I can't wait to keep using it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a full house of adults, teens, toddlers, and dogs, so we vacuum a minimum of 2-3 times per week. This vacuum was able to handle the long hair from teens combing and styling their hair, the dogs starting to blow out their winter coats, and a toddler leaving trails of crumbs and dirt! On our hard surfaces (wood/tile) the suction was great. However, I did notice that since the spin feature isn't used on hard surfaces, when I turn the vacuum off some debris would fall out. My area rugs and carpeted rooms are low pile, and the vacuum cleaned these spaces well and pushed over the surfaces easily. I do like the switch between brush roll/ no roll is on top so I can quickly switch between hard surface and an area rug. The lift off lever is very convenient, but I'd forget the hose was attached. After using this vacuum for a couple weeks, I do wish it had bristles on the side to help with getting closer to baseboards, however I have had no issues with hair wrapping up in the brush so far and hope that this holds up to its promise! I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and would probably consider purchasing this vacuum as a housewarming gift for a friend or kid heading off to college.

We used it on everything from high to low pile area rugs, hardwood floors, and tile. I have 2 dogs who shed a TON, and 2 young kids who leave a trail of crumbs and little bits of paper everywhere they go. This vacuum was able to pick it all up. I like that there are buttons to switch it between hard flooring (brush not spinning) and rugs/carpet, as well as how low or high it is depending on pile height. The only 2 negative things for me are it’s relatively heavy, and because it’s so bulky it couldn’t get very far under our couch/beds. Overall would recommend.

Out of the box, I noticed that it came with a 2-in-1 duster tool and a roll brush attachment that attaches to the built-in wand. It was also very easy to assemble. I couldn’t wait to put it to the test. I have kids, so it wasn’t hard to find something to vacuum. My home is half carpet, half hardwood, so I decided to test it on carpet first. On carpet, I vacuumed crush tortilla chips without any issues. I also vacuumed crush tortilla chips on the hardwood floor and there also were no issues with that. What I like about the vacuum is that it has two different settings that allow you to select the type of floors you have (carpet or hard surface). When you select carpet, the brush roller is on and when you select hard surface, the roller is off. There is also the option to select whether you have thick carpet or low carpet/hard floor. The 2-in-1 duster tool makes it easier to vacuum edges and corners. I also imagine that if you have pets, this would be a good feature to use to get pet hair off of furniture. It also works well when dusting the trim or if you want to vacuum curtains. My favorite feature is that the canister lifts off. Because of this feature, vacuuming the steps became a lot easier. Just push the lift off button, carry the canister as you vacuum, and reattach it when you are done. Overall, I am pleased with the features of this vacuum. It feels a little lighter than my previous full-sized vacuum. It’s not too heavy for me to carry up and downstairs, and it did a great job of sucking up crumbs around corners, so it is a welcomed addition in my home.
