Dependable with great suction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I think this vacuum is fantastic. Simple design with a medium weight to it. Was easy to unbox and took less than four minutes to assemble. This vacuum revitalized one of my beloved rugs in a high traffic area of the house. I have two kids it sucked up so much dust and dirt. After vacuuming my rugs they felt more fluffy. Also works great on hard wood floors. I like the wand feature the best. It releases nicely and makes the hard to reach places easy to clean. Turbobrush attachment was great for the couch.
Best Vacuum for active families
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum was exactly what our busy family needed! It is powerful on every surface, carpet, rugs, hardwoods, and tile! We have 2 kids and a dog constantly running in and out of the house and this vacuum lets me keep up with all the messes they track in and around the house. For an upright vacuum it is very lightweight and it transitions to the lift off mode super easily! I was able to clean everything in my home, floors, upholstery, stairs, curtains, couches, and chairs with the use of the added tools that are perfectly designed to fit onto the sides of the vacuum. I love how easily I can empty the dirt without messy bags. The container is clear so it makes it super easy to tell if I sucked up a toy my kids left behind by mistake. My favorite feature of this vacuum has to be how well it is able to get dog hair up around my house. My home has never been cleaner! This vacuum is a total win if you have kids and pets!
This Vacuum has Great Suction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting a new vacuum for a while and this one checks all of our boxes! It is lightweight, easy to push, and has great suction. The design is sleek and simple which is nice. We have two toddlers who make all kinds of messes and a dog that sheds a ton so we are vacuuming constantly! We have used it on carpet, laminate, and our living room rug and it has tackled it all. I love that it has a switch on the handle to accommodate differing plush levels on hard floors to carpet. Overall, very happy with this vacuum!
Power packed vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of 7 young children who works full time, I need my time to be used efficiently and that includes cleaning. This vacuum is a great way to get the task done fast and fully. Straight out of the box, it was easy and logical and easy to assemble in minutes. All of the parts fit together securely and could be reconfigured with the push of a button. All of the buttons are clearly labeled as well. While it is a full sized machine, it is designed to be as compact as possible so it is easy to move around. I love that when you remove the cleaning head to use the hose attachment (for stairs, etc), it sits flat on the ground and is stable! Makes it so easy to have both hands free and it reduces the weight significantly when doing stairs or other manual jobs. As for the power, we have new carpet in much of our home and I accidentally left the setting to "low pile" while vacuuming my deep pile carpet and I couldn't figure out why it was SO hard to push - the suction was that strong! It was sucking down deep into the carpets like a professional cleaner! I figured out I had it on the wrong setting and then it was much easier to push, but that just shows how strong the suction is. The carpeted area in our main living space backs up to solid wood and the vacuum cleaned seamlessly with a click of the button from the deep pile carpet to the hardwood to clean the crumbs in the kitchen. It is easy to see what you're cleaning up with the clearview plastic on the top of the roller and the dustbin. The cord is also really long; I had no problem in any area of my house with being able to reach everything or being constrained by cord length. Three areas for improvement are that 1) it's heavier than other models I've used in general (but it packs a punch in power which makes up for it). 2) There is no place to store the edge cleaner on the device, which means I have to carry it with me as I clean the house. 3) Generally it does not do a great job on the edges and I had to use the attachments to clean all edges of the room or against furniture to get everything up. Despite these things, this vacuum over performed for my expectations in the areas of getting dirt, crumbs, hair, debris off all surfaces we tried (low and deep pile carpet, hardwood, and tile), it is very easy to configure for every type of job, and it is intuitive to use. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me try out this great vacuum!
Powerful and Lightweight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the CleanView® Max Lift-Off vacuum for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. It delivers powerful suction on both carpet and hardwood floors, and the easy handle toggle makes transitioning between surfaces effortless—which is a must in my busy, split-level home. Between a shedding dog, two energetic kids, and—let’s just say—some extra hair around the house lately, this vacuum has had its work cut out for it. And it’s risen to the challenge beautifully. In fact, it outperformed my other vacuum (a well-known brand specifically made for pet hair), which really surprised me. Even though the materials feel a bit cheap, the lightweight design is actually a huge advantage. It’s easy to carry up and down stairs, and it doesn't feel like a workout just to clean a few rooms. My favorite feature is its versatility. It handles different carpet heights and flooring types without missing a beat. If I had to nitpick, I do prefer the canister-emptying design on my old vacuum, which allowed for a top-release that kept my hands a little cleaner. But that’s a small tradeoff for how well this vacuum performs overall. In short, I find myself reaching for the CleanView® Max Lift-Off way more often than my previous vacuum. It’s a great find for anyone juggling kids, pets, and multiple floor types.
Powerful and Sturdy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off made a strong impression on our busy household. With kids and a couple of shedding pets, we put vacuums through a lot and this one delivered solid results. The look and design are modern and practical. It’s not overly bulky, and the detachable lift-off canister makes it easy to handle stairs or tight spots. I appreciated that it didn’t feel cheap or overly plastic-y despite being reasonably priced. When it comes to cleaning power, it handled daily messes like crumbs, pet hair, and tracked-in dirt really well. It had no problem pulling embedded fur from our area rugs and picked up fine dust on hardwood floors with ease. It even tackled glitter—courtesy of my kids’ craft adventures—without a hitch. We used it on hardwood, tile, low-pile carpet, and area rugs, and it transitioned between surfaces smoothly. Suction stayed strong, and it didn’t scatter debris like some other vacuums we've owned. My favorite feature was the lift-off canister. It made cleaning curtains, couches, and under furniture a breeze. I also loved the turbo brush attachment; it really pulled fur off upholstery without getting tangled. The only real downside (and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) is the lack of a headlight. It would’ve been helpful for seeing under furniture or in dim corners. That aside, it’s a great all-around vacuum, especially for pet and kid messes.
Better than high end cordless vacuums
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So overall, I really love this new CleanView® Max Lift-Off! vacuum cleaner. I had gotten so used to the minor pros and major cons of cordless vacuums, that this was a surprisingly simple and sturdy cleaning experience with zero headaches. I have owned several “pet hair” vacuums, and this one seems to be as strong or stronger than the top of the line version from that one brand- you know the one- that I owned years ago. Recently, for the sake of convenience, I have been using one of that brand’s cordless vacuums. It has not been a great experience. The battery does not last! I literally have to vacuum downstairs and then recharge it overnight, and then vacuum upstairs the next day! That is no longer a problem with the CleanView® Max Lift-Off! vacuum. Going back to a corded vacuum means that I have maximum power available for as long as I need it. The CleanView® Max Lift-Off! vacuum seems to be very well made. It assembled out of the box very quickly and easily. I have used it on tile and on carpet. It has two convenient switches for choosing between hard surfaces/short pile and long pile carpets, and another for off/no roller/roller- very nice for tile floors so that you actually vacuum up debris instead of scatrering all over. The only negative thing I can say about the CleanView® Max Lift-Off! vacuum is that I don’t find any use or afvantage of the “lift off” feature. I found this out while vacuuming my carpeted stairs. Releasing the canister from the base doesn’t shed that much weight. And then, instead of using the large rollers on the base, you have to use the smaller roller attachment on the hose. This made the stairs job much more labor intensive because you can’t cover as much area, plus you have to hold the canister in your other hand. I gave up halfway up the stairs and reattached the base. Much quicker nothing to hold/carry. The only use case I can see for the “lift off” feature is if you are vacuuming out your car maybe. Overall, this is a great vacuum though, and it did a great job catching all the cat hair, dirt, and stray litter granules in our multiple pet house.
Great vacuum for those with toddlers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family found that the Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum cleaner is a versatile option designed to tackle a variety of cleaning tasks. It's particularly well-suited for homes with pets, offering features aimed at effective hair removal and multi-surface cleaning. While there are no pets in my family, we do have a 2.5 year old toddler and there are lots of messes. Some of the things we loved about the vacuum is its strong suction power and the lift-off feature of the detachable canister. In our last vacuum it felt as if we were going over the same spot multiple times and the debris was just not being sucked up. The CleanView’s suction power is so strong, I can get dirt out of the most hard to reach corners and crevices without any hassle. The lift-off feature and the attachments provide a great versatility in the various places that are otherwise hard to get to such as our stairs, shutter blinds, and the crevices of our son’s high chair. We also have various surfaces in our house - carpet, tile flooring, area rugs - and it’s worked out great in each of the areas. Some areas where there is room for improvement would be its weight and smaller hose length. The lift off feature helps reduce weight when in that mode, however maneuvering the vacuum up and down stairs may be problematic for elderly, or in my case, pregnant individuals. Overall, the pros in our case did outweigh the cons. The Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum cleaner is a solid choice for those seeking a versatile cleaning solution, particularly in homes with pets or young children. Its strong suction and helpful attachments make it effective for various cleaning tasks and hard to reach areas.
Super convenient and powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is pretty much perfect. I love that I can do both hard floors and carpet. Ome of my main issues with my previous vacuum was all the kickback of dirt on hard floors. With this vacuums setting for hard floors, the brush does not spin so there's no kickback. It is very powerful and picks up quickly and efficiently. It even pulls dirt from underneath areas that the vacuum can't reach like the edge of the dresser or stove. I was also blown away at how good it made my carpets look. It made them look so plush and brand new again. I actually dont think they looked this good when they were new. The attachments are also extremely powerful. I've never had a vacuum that could pick up cat hair completely, but this one does. The vacuum is fairly quiet. The turbo brush is insanely loud, but it's OK because it gets the job done very well. I love that the vacuum detaches and can be carried easily upstairs or reach high areas. The one complaint I have is that it is pretty top heavy which made my hand ache quite a lot, but after using it a few times that went away and I got used to it. Other than that, it's amazing and perfect for households that have a combination of hard floors and carpet. Super pleased!!
Does not leave anything behind
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed by this Max Lift-Off! It handled well and came with features that make regular clean-ups easy and fast. The lift-off feature is essential for the stairs and high to reach places. I ran this vacuum over my medium pile rug, and then did a second run with another vacuum afterwards. The Max Lift-Off got up EVERYTHING--I didn't pick up anything in the second run, which was all the evidence needed to prove that it was getting the job done effectively. It worked well on my rugs as well as hardwood areas. The hose and attachments make spilled food and crumbs a breeze. The rug setting grabs cat and dog hair. It maneuvered well around corners and into small spaces. I'm glad to have this for my everyday cleaning.
