I thought my house was really clean so I was shocked when I used this vacuum the first time. I couldn't believe how much dirt and dog hair was in the cannister. It is light and easy to use but has amazing suction. It worked great on hardwood, low pile, and regular pile carpet. I would highly recommend the Max Lift-Off to anyone who has pets or kids!

My house has a variety of floor types — hardwood, carpet, and area rugs. The suction on every surface was great and it didn't take more than one or two passes to pickup all the debris. When used on the carpet I could tell it was getting dirt from all the nooks and crannies. This is definitely a vacuum you can trust to tackle all your messes, no matter the type. My favorite feature is the canister. It's bagless. It's easy to remove the dirt and easy to put back. It's big enough that I don't have to empty after each room I clean, but not too big and bulky that it gets in the way. I also like that you can lift the canister off of the base and continue to clean wherever you need. It makes this vacuum very versatile. Overall, this vacuum is a win! This vacuum picks up WAY more than our stick vacuum and I'm appalled at how dirty my rugs have actually been. I love the TurboBrush tool; the brush actually spins so I know my couch cushions are getting an extra deep clean, and the HEPA allergen system is a massive bonus with two small children and a dog. I am overall so thrilled with this vacuum. I never thought I would own an upright vacuum but it just packs a punch that my stick vacuum can't measure up to. Most of our floors are hard surfaces with area rugs in each room, which means I’m constantly battling hair tumbleweeds. I typically vacuum every other day—sometimes daily—just to keep up with the crumbs and pet hair. I've been using a cordless for years, but lately, I’ve noticed the suction just isn’t cutting it. Out of curiosity, I vacuumed thoroughly with my cordless vacuum one night, then went over everything the next day with the CleanView® Max Lift-Off to see what it could still pick up. I was honestly horrified by how much hair and debris it pulled up—even after I thought the floors were clean. The suction is seriously powerful; so much so that I had to go slowly on my lighter rugs to keep them from getting pulled in. I used it on the couches, floors, and rugs—and now I’m never going back. Yes, it’s corded, which is a bit more hassle compared to a cordless vacuum. But the results are absolutely worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve enjoyed this vacuum so far so here is my rundown: Setup for this was pretty straightforward and I was able to do it without very many prompts from the materials. It looks nice and like a lot of other vacuums you can see when it’s getting full. It had very good and powerful suction, I was impressed by that the most. It had some nice tools to do couches, and they worked well on my couches. Mine have microfiber covers that like to hold on to pet hair, and this worked well battling that problem. I also used it on rugs, carpet and hardwood and it seemed to do well on all surfaces. It took two passes to grab some bigger pieces on the hardwood, but that is something I expected with the floor style and having the roller brush pushed things a little bit. Overall I love it, and like how powerful it is, especially tackling specialty things like upholstery. One of my rug photos is halfway vacuumed so you can see a before and after.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a rug/mat by my porch door that usually requires taking outside (very inconvenient in snowy winter), beating on a tree, and then using a hard bristled broom to get it anywhere near clean. I then have to use a hand brush to get the remaining dog hair. One pass with CleanView, rollers turning, and it was as clean as the day it was unboxed and I didn't have to move it an inch. I went easily from hard wood floors to a super plush rug, only changing a few settings quickly. It cleaned both surfaces perfectly. I'm a little disturbed by the amount of dog hair I've disposed of, after thinking things were already relatively clean. The cherry on top was the ability to lift the canister off the base, easily, and use the wand and brush attachment to clean spider webs and years of dust from my 70s mini popcorn ceilings. I don't even want to describe the methods I've tried in the past, but this made it almost enjoyable. The product is light, easy to use and maneuver, the cord is sufficient length, noise is relatively low and it picked up everything I wanted it to. My home is in much better shape since this vacuum arrived.

The design of this vacuum is a typical upright vacuum style, and easy to maneuver and handle around corners, edges and back and forth. It's definitely a substantial feeling vacuum, but not too bulky or heavy that it can't be carried up and down stairs. It does a great job lifting pet hair off the carpet and grabbing everything that accumulates on our hardwood and tile floors. You can tell that it's picking up a lot because the dirt tank fills up quickly! I also appreciate that emptying the dirty tank is very simple and, while I haven't had to do it yet, the separator, motor filter, and foam filter look really easy to clean. One of my favorite features is the fact that his vacuum is so versatile - it's great for floors, but it also has the hose and extension wand with tool attachments to customize your cleaning needs (example, getting under couches or vacuuming stairs). Overall, you can tell it's a very well-built and well-designed vacuum that can handle the rigor of a messy and active home!

At first use it picked up far more than any other vacuum in my kid's rooms. My carpets are a little older so it helped remove a ton of loose fiber and fuzz I didn't know was even there, not to mention the endless crumbs. I also think the power of the suction helps reduce any allergies. Plus I love that just freshly vacuumed look it creates. What's nice is the attachments clip right onto the vacuum itself so you never have to search for those. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it's been by far one of my favorites!

I was super excited to give this vacuum a try on both my carpet and hard surfaces. It's a solid vacuum that seems to be made of quality parts. But overall I was sadly disappointed. The biggest drawback and really a dealbreaker for me is the length of the cord. Compared to my normal vacuum I estimate the cord is a least 3 feet shorter which I noticed immediately when I couldn't vacuum as many rooms. Having to change plugs more often is really inconvenient, especially when I have a vacuum that will allow me to reach more rooms. The suction is not the strongest, especially when used on hard surfaces. I had to go over a piece of debris numerous times before it picked it up. If I compare how much it picks up (based on the canister) vs my current vacuum it's picking up far less. I have dogs and children and want to be sure my time vacuuming is well spent and actually picking up all of their dirt and fur! Unfortunately this vacuum underperformed. One benefit is that it came with a soft brush attachment which I found to be helpful cleaning vents and the wood trim on my staircase. But beyond that it did not prove to be a superior vacuum or one I could highly recommend.
