The design makes it easy to use and carry around. I was able to clean everything from hard floors, carpet, up and down stairs, around trim and windows, and even my couches with ease. Tackled pet hair from 2 German shepherds shedding for the spring with no problem! The only thing I'm not a fan of is the manual roll up cord but wouldn't take it back just for that! My favorite feature of the vacuum is the stick handle unsnaps to be able to quickly switch from floor vacuum to doing trim and corners and furniture. I am always looking for a reliable and functional vacuum, as we have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and live on a farm. Between the animal hair and mud, I clean multiple times a week. Assembly was simple and self-explanatory, but the directions were easy to read. When cleaning carpet, the first thing I noticed was the strong suction power. Because of the suction power, the vacuum requires more effort to move it forward and backward, and while I'd prefer power over ease, my arms did start to tire towards the end of the clean. The attachments are my favorite feature; the detail brush that attaches to the handle is a life saver! The bristles are soft, but sturdy, and I use it to detail-clean baseboards, doors, windows sills, around our stone fireplace, and that pesky area where the carpet from the stairs meets the hardwood on the floor. I wish the retraction of the handheld wand was longer and more flexible; the vacuum falls over when I'm reaching too high or at a funky angle. The vacuum does well on our hardwood and laminate as well. I haven't had issues with it struggling to pick up debris, but I do use the wand under cabinets and in corners where the vacuum is just too bulky to reach. I love that there are places for each attachment, and I've only had occasional instances of them falling off. Emptying the vacuum is simple and doesn't require too much man power, which is always appreciated! In general, this is an excellent vacuum, a little on the heavier side, but the attachments make up for it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this upright vacuum as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and overall, it's been a solid performer as far as cleaning ability, but has several design flaws that affected the ease of use. Assembly was quick and simple—it came in six pieces and took about three minutes to put together without the instruction book. Its sleek, slim design makes it easy to maneuver around tight spaces in the home. The vacuum includes a wand and Turbo Brush attachment, which is great for cleaning spots like couch cushions. However, the hose on the wand is quite short, which limits its reach and convenience. One feature is the lift-off portable option that allows you to detach the wand and dust bin from the base. It's a good idea in theory, especially for stairs, but I found it a bit heavy and awkward—especially with the short wand length. It wasn't much easier than just carrying the whole vacuum up the stairs. Another design flaw I noticed is the electrical cord placement on the right side of the vacuum. I vacuum with my right hand and manage the cord with my left so I constantly had to step over or swing the cord around to keep it from getting in the way. As for performance, the vacuum handles cleaning well. With a toddler and three shedding pets, it's kept up nicely across tile, rugs, and plush carpet. Overall, I was impressed with the cleaning power, but the design flaws limited the full potential of the vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of two young children, I am no stranger to mess. The Cleanview Max Lift-Off is a convenient and effective vacuum for any and every spill! I tested the vacuum on both the carpet and hard floors, and I was surprised at how strong the suction was. I have a dog that sheds pretty frequently, and it did a wonderful job at sucking up all his hair, which is not an easy feat! I loved how easy it was to turn the brush roll on and off. My previous vacuum required me to bend down to do so; however, the Cleanview Max Lift-Off has the switch at arm level, making it extremely convenient and effortless. The brush roll also did not get clogged easily. As mentioned previously, my dog sheds a lot. His hair tends to get caught in the brush roll, but it was still clean without any tangles! The only reason I’m eating this vacuum four stars instead of five is because it is very loud - definitely louder than previous vacuums I’ve had. The shape also caused it a little front heavy which made it hard to navigate at times. Overall, I would definitely recommend this vacuum for its versatility and powerful suction - it definitely gets the job done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been so impressed with the CleanView Max Liftoff vacuum. Our Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix sheds pretty heavily, especially during the warmer months. I thought our previous vacuum was doing a pretty good job keeping up until I started using this vacuum. Oh MY Goodness! There was so much fur and dust that the other vacuum just was not getting, even with regular use. This vacuum really does the job and it's easy to use! I have used it on our carpet, area rugs, and tile floors and have been really happy with the way it tackles each surface with the different setting options. I have previously had issues with fur getting caught in the brush roll of vacuums, but this vacuum just sucks it right up without getting tangled along the way. I'm so glad to be done with the hassle of trying to get fur out of the roller The hose and liftoff features with the brush and crevice tools are also great for taking care of couches and those harder to reach higher areas and corners, particularly around windows. My only minor complaint would be that this vacuum is a bit heavier and more bulky than the one I had previously. However, it's still easy to use and the added weight is totally worth it to me considering how much better I feel about the cleaning job it is doing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this vacuum is a step up from what I had been using, and I'm rather pleased with it. It looks nice, it's got a big tank without being too bulky, it's lightweight considering it's size, and it's got great maneuverability on turns and corners. The accessories are very helpful for tight spaces, and unlike some other vacuum cleaners it's very easy to attach those pieces to the body of the tank while not in use so that they get misplaced. This seems like a minor point, but it's been very frustrating in the past with other vacuums when those attachments weren't easily accessible. I found it very easy to get into tight spaces with the attachments, but the little 'power brush' attachment is too rigid and all of maneuverability of the main part is gone with that part. The regular vacuum was great for hard wood and tile and the power brush setting on the foot of the vacuum was great for carpets, but there were times when it would stop as if it got jammed or something, but it didn't seem like anything actually caused it.. luckily it was easy to fix by just turn the brush of and back on. But this brush was particularly good at keeping up with my dog's considerable shedding, which is no small task, while also not damage carpet and upholstery. One feature that I miss from my old vacuum is the retractable power cord. This one has a place to wrap the cord up while not in use, but it would really be nice to be able to hit a button and have the wire take care of itself. But that's a minor gripe compared to the the strenghts of this product. The biggest strength over other, similar vacuum cleaners is the power with respect to the weight and dexterity of the body of this item. It's small enough to store in a closet but powerful enough to clean my whole home. In general, I'm very pleased with it.

We have 2 kids and a dog constantly running in and out of the house and this vacuum lets me keep up with all the messes they track in and around the house. For an upright vacuum it is very lightweight and it transitions to the lift off mode super easily! I was able to clean everything in my home, floors, upholstery, stairs, curtains, couches, and chairs with the use of the added tools that are perfectly designed to fit onto the sides of the vacuum. I love how easily I can empty the dirt without messy bags. The container is clear so it makes it super easy to tell if I sucked up a toy my kids left behind by mistake. My favorite feature of this vacuum has to be how well it is able to get dog hair up around my house. My home has never been cleaner! This vacuum is a total win if you have kids and pets!

We have 3 kids and this vacuum does a great job at picking up all of the dirt and crumbs from the floors. We have different flooring throughout the house and it's nice that this vacuum works on different floor levels. I love how everything is easy to take apart and clean. The unit is much lighter/smaller than previous models I’ve tried and I wasn’t sure it would be strong enough to clean my floors. I’ve never been so happy to be wrong. Max Lift-Off is a perfect name for this vacuum. The moment you flip power switch, can feel the strength of this device. As the owner of a short hair dog who is constantly shedding, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate only needing to make one pass with a vacuum cleaner. There were a couple of spots underneath my couch cushions where I had given up any hope of removing the tiny hairs…not a problem for the Max Lift-Off (see Before & after photos). My only minor complaint is the limited range of motion or lack of swivel but it’s an easy concession to make after seeing how great of a job it did cleaning my carpet and couch. It takes up a fraction of the space in my closet compared to my last vacuum and the compact design makes it easy to store in tight spaces.
