[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am overall very pleased with the Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum. I previously had a Bissell vacuum and was not expecting the quality and power of this machine. As soon as it arrived, I took it out of the box and tried it on a bedroom carpet that had just been vacuumed the previous day. I was amazed at how much dirt was picked up and how clean the carpet looked. The suction and pick up on this are superior to any machine I have ever used. It is easy to maneuver and works on both thick carpet and our tiled floors. Since receiving vacuum, I have used it for my weekly cleaning and also some projects like under the bed and our mattress and box spring. These photos show how much this vacuum picked up on a carpet that I had cleaned the previous day with another machine. I was amazed at how much dust and lint I was missing with my old machine. The only improvements that I would suggest are a headlight and a longer plug-in cord. It seems rather short, and I found myself having to find a new wall outlet more often than I would have with my previous machine. Overall, even with these suggestions, I would definitely recommend this vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of 7 young children who works full time, I need my time to be used efficiently and that includes cleaning. This vacuum is a great way to get the task done fast and fully. Straight out of the box, it was easy and logical and easy to assemble in minutes. All of the parts fit together securely and could be reconfigured with the push of a button. All of the buttons are clearly labeled as well. While it is a full sized machine, it is designed to be as compact as possible so it is easy to move around. I love that when you remove the cleaning head to use the hose attachment (for stairs, etc), it sits flat on the ground and is stable! Makes it so easy to have both hands free and it reduces the weight significantly when doing stairs or other manual jobs. As for the power, we have new carpet in much of our home and I accidentally left the setting to "low pile" while vacuuming my deep pile carpet and I couldn't figure out why it was SO hard to push - the suction was that strong! It was sucking down deep into the carpets like a professional cleaner! I figured out I had it on the wrong setting and then it was much easier to push, but that just shows how strong the suction is. The carpeted area in our main living space backs up to solid wood and the vacuum cleaned seamlessly with a click of the button from the deep pile carpet to the hardwood to clean the crumbs in the kitchen. It is easy to see what you're cleaning up with the clearview plastic on the top of the roller and the dustbin. The cord is also really long; I had no problem in any area of my house with being able to reach everything or being constrained by cord length. Three areas for improvement are that 1) it's heavier than other models I've used in general (but it packs a punch in power which makes up for it). 2) There is no place to store the edge cleaner on the device, which means I have to carry it with me as I clean the house. 3) Generally it does not do a great job on the edges and I had to use the attachments to clean all edges of the room or against furniture to get everything up. Despite these things, this vacuum over performed for my expectations in the areas of getting dirt, crumbs, hair, debris off all surfaces we tried (low and deep pile carpet, hardwood, and tile), it is very easy to configure for every type of job, and it is intuitive to use. Right out of the box, the design is sleek and modern, and it feels durable without being bulky or hard to maneuver. It’s clear a lot of thought went into making it both powerful and user-friendly. The cleaning power is seriously impressive. From everyday crumbs and pet hair to deeper messes in the carpet, it handled everything with ease. I used it on a mix of surfaces like hardwood floors, area rugs, and thick carpeting, and it transitioned between them seamlessly without losing suction. But hands down, my favorite feature is the motorized hose attachment. It made cleaning my stairs so much easier. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this Bissell vacuum exceeded my expectations. It's a true workhorse. The motor is not only strong, it is powerful. For my first use, I challenged this vacuum in a carpeted room that rarely gets vacuumed but is heavy with dog hair. Within 10 seconds, the canister was jam-packed with hair then filled several more times. It also raised the nap of the older carpet, like it hasn't looked in years. I knew then this was one amazing vacuum. But there are many other great features. My favorite is that the whole handle doubles as the hose wand with a quick click from the base. No need to attach extension tubes. This is genius! And with a great vacuum comes great attachments. The power brush has stiff bristles and great suction. Plus, it can be taken apart for cleaning. And the 2-in-1 crevice tool has a conveniently attached brush that clicks into place when needed or raises when not in use. The one-click detachment of the lift-off canister is super easy and so convenient for maximizing functionality and simplifying the chore. I also like the swivel steering, which really helps the vacuum reach under furniture. There are two filters onboard and a switch to stop the brush roll. There are several release buttons on the vacuum and they are all simple and work with ease. This vacuum is premium quality and top-of-the-line. It is made with durable, high-grade materials and it's built to last. I am beyond impressed with this vacuum's ability and features. I have no doubt it can tackle any pet hair nightmare. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of the CleanView® Max Lift-Off was that it was easy to assemble right out of the box. It picked up so much dirt and dust and was perfect to use right before we used our carpet cleaner. The vacuum is pretty lightweight and easy to maneuver. It seems to have great suction. I tried it out on carpet in the living room and toy room, as well as on the hardwood in the foyer and the entry rugs that are thicker pile. The vacuum was easy to switch modes from low to high pile by sliding a button. We are a family of all girls and there is always hair all over the house. My favorite feature of this vacuum was that the hair doesn’t get stuck in the tangle-free brush roll! In the past it was always such a pain to remove hair that was twisted around the brush of other vacuums. I would absolutely recommend this vacuum!

A quick glance at the photo and everything clicked right into place. It seems very easy to empty as well. I am used to a bag vacuum, so this one is quick and easy to pull of the closet and start cleaning. It seems to have good pickup on hardwood so far - I only have a few rugs and mostly hardwood floors. Good for quick pet hair pickups and so far great for jumping between hardwoods and rugs.

I pulled it out of the box and was able to assemble it very quickly and easily. I started with it on the carpet in my master bedroom. We have fairly new carpets and we vacuum regularly but the cat spends most of his time in our room. I figured we'd have the most luck with pet hair there. Boy, was I right - and shocked! The canister was full after vacuuming JUST ONE ROOM! I could not believe it. Clearly the suction power on this thing is strong. I emptied the canister and then moved on to my kids rooms. After their three carpeted bedrooms, the landing and the stairs, the canister was full so I emptied it again. I decided to keep going and vacuumed the downstairs. We have three large area rugs (living room, dining, and family room). I also pushed it along the hardwood floors in the kitchen and between the spaces where the rugs don't touch and of course had to empty the canister a third time. While the upstairs was mostly dust and cat/dog fur, the downstairs floors had crumbs from kids, dirt tracked in from outside, and general messes from animals and a family of six. I'd say the power on this vacuum could handle our family! As far as looks and design, it seemed a little small. The canister had to be emptied three times to do my whole house (approximately 3000 sqft.) I like that it is more compact than my usual vacuum; however, I would love to be able to vacuum my whole house without having to stop and empty so often!

I thought my house was really clean so I was shocked when I used this vacuum the first time. I couldn't believe how much dirt and dog hair was in the cannister. It is light and easy to use but has amazing suction. It worked great on hardwood, low pile, and regular pile carpet. I would highly recommend the Max Lift-Off to anyone who has pets or kids!

My house has a variety of floor types — hardwood, carpet, and area rugs. The suction on every surface was great and it didn't take more than one or two passes to pickup all the debris. When used on the carpet I could tell it was getting dirt from all the nooks and crannies. This is definitely a vacuum you can trust to tackle all your messes, no matter the type. My favorite feature is the canister. It's bagless. It's easy to remove the dirt and easy to put back. It's big enough that I don't have to empty after each room I clean, but not too big and bulky that it gets in the way. I also like that you can lift the canister off of the base and continue to clean wherever you need. It makes this vacuum very versatile. Overall, this vacuum is a win!
