[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum worked really well on the carpet and hardwoods of our home. We don’t have dogs or cats, but rather pet birds. Their feathers and down float in the air to every room of the house, so having a vacuum that can handle it is important. It is not too heavy and is easy to maneuver. I like how easy to empty the waste cup is to empty! My only critique is that the power cord seems a little short, so you may have to shift where it’s plugged as you clean more often than expected. Overall I would recommend this model!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of 7 young children who works full time, I need my time to be used efficiently and that includes cleaning. This vacuum is a great way to get the task done fast and fully. Straight out of the box, it was easy and logical and easy to assemble in minutes. All of the parts fit together securely and could be reconfigured with the push of a button. All of the buttons are clearly labeled as well. While it is a full sized machine, it is designed to be as compact as possible so it is easy to move around. I love that when you remove the cleaning head to use the hose attachment (for stairs, etc), it sits flat on the ground and is stable! Makes it so easy to have both hands free and it reduces the weight significantly when doing stairs or other manual jobs. As for the power, we have new carpet in much of our home and I accidentally left the setting to "low pile" while vacuuming my deep pile carpet and I couldn't figure out why it was SO hard to push - the suction was that strong! It was sucking down deep into the carpets like a professional cleaner! I figured out I had it on the wrong setting and then it was much easier to push, but that just shows how strong the suction is. The carpeted area in our main living space backs up to solid wood and the vacuum cleaned seamlessly with a click of the button from the deep pile carpet to the hardwood to clean the crumbs in the kitchen. It is easy to see what you're cleaning up with the clearview plastic on the top of the roller and the dustbin. The cord is also really long; I had no problem in any area of my house with being able to reach everything or being constrained by cord length. Three areas for improvement are that 1) it's heavier than other models I've used in general (but it packs a punch in power which makes up for it). 2) There is no place to store the edge cleaner on the device, which means I have to carry it with me as I clean the house. 3) Generally it does not do a great job on the edges and I had to use the attachments to clean all edges of the room or against furniture to get everything up. Despite these things, this vacuum over performed for my expectations in the areas of getting dirt, crumbs, hair, debris off all surfaces we tried (low and deep pile carpet, hardwood, and tile), it is very easy to configure for every type of job, and it is intuitive to use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box, it was quick & easy to put together. About 3 minutes. Prior to this vacuum, we have had several - varying brands (some high-end), but similar features & structure - and this one has been the lightest in weight. The head of this vacuum is narrower than the ones we’ve had before, which I appreciate for navigating tight spaces. It turns easily & gets under furniture well. It seems a bit quieter than others we’ve had I used it on carpet, tile, and hardwood. There is a switch within arm’s reach to transition from carpet (with brush roller) to hard floors (without the brushes). It’s an easy & obvious switch, relative to my experience with other vacuums. I was impressed (and equally disgusted) with how much dust & debris the vacuum picked up. I used this for first time to vacuum only the upstairs part of our 2-story home. There are 5 rooms (3 bedrooms, an office, and a playroom). It’s mostly carpet, other than the laundry room and 2 bathrooms. The photo shows how much was collected from that first vacuum. The last vacuum (with a different vacuum cleaner) had been about 2 weeks ago. We have 2 young kids, 2 small, non-shedding dogs, and my husband works from home in the upstairs office. Most of our “living” is done downstairs or out of the house, so the upstairs experiences relatively minimal foot traffic. Additionally, my kids and I don’t wear shoes inside the house. Although, my husband often does, despite my efforts to “train” him otherwise. Even so, I was truly surprised by how much this vacuum picked up. Worth noting: one of the filters is “washable,” but the other is not - and will need to be replaced, approximately every 6 months. Locations for both filters are marked, and instructions for cleaning the washable one are included on the canister. The replaceable filter was easy to access by popping off the front cover. So far, I haven’t run into any points of frustration with this vacuum. It vacuums really well, it’s lightweight, quiet, good for small spaces, and seems easy to clean & maintain. It absolutely exceeded my expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this vacuum! I used it right after my cleaning service came, and it picked up a ton of dirt off of the carpet still. I used it on all surfaces (hard, carpet, stairs, etc.) and it did a wonderful job of cleaning up messes quickly. It's also super sharp and modern looking, and looks great sitting in the laundry room! The best part was the ability to lift off the top and use it independently for hard to reach places. It's so much easier to move around the house like this when doing baseboards, window sills, and other hard to reach places. The only ding for this vacuum is that it has a cord, but that does get you a lot more power, which is a valid tradeoff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell Cleanview Max Lift Off upright vacuum as a part of the Stellar product testing panel. I'm not one to read directions and it took me exactly 5 minutes to put this bad boy together. So my first positive is that this vacuum is super easy to snap together and use right out of the box. One thing that really impressed me is the attachments connect it right to the vacuum, which is a huge plus to me as I always lose any attachments with vacuum cleaner. There are two settings on this vacuum want to use on carpet and one when vacuuming hard or delicate surfaces. This was another positive for me as I was able to easily switch back-and-forth between my carpet at living room and my hardwood hallway. The section power on this vacuum for both of the hardwood floor and the carpet were wonderful. I couldn't believe how much was in the tank after I thought that my carpet was pretty clean. The quick release button for the wand was super easy to reach corners and place right back onto the vacuum. It has a really large dirt tank which I appreciate because I don't have to keep emptying it over and over I really like the tangle free brush roll because I don't have to cut the hair out out of the vacuum. Besides the suction power, my favorite part of this vacuum was really that the attachment connect right to the vacuum as I always lose them and I always wondered why more vacuums didn't do this. Overall, this is a really great vacuum and compares it very well to my previously owned shark.

I liked having the option to change carpet or hardwood as well as turning on and off the roller part. All of attachments seem secure and are out of the way. Both the wand and collection bin are easy to remove and reattach. The brush attachment is wonderful for upholstery. I thought the power cord seemed long enough for me to be able to vacuum an entire room while not taking up a lot of space when wrapped on the vacuum itself. Use: The vacuum glides easily over carpet and hardwood. Despite having vacuumed recently, this vacuum pulled up a good amount of dog hair. It worked pretty well on tile and hardwood but I especially like it for carpet. The wand had a good amount of suction as well - much better than other vacuums I have used. Overall I found this to be a very effective vacuum for removing dog hair. It will end up replacing the pet vacuum I currently have. Highly recommend!

Everywhere on the vacuum's box, it said the suction is great! Yes, it is! It really sucks!! I vacuumed my floors with my old upright vacuum and our robot vacuum before using this, and it sucked up so much dust, dirt, and whatever else it could find! It has no bells and whistles, it's pretty simple, but I have found that that means they really put their efforts towards the things that matter most - suction and versatility. I like the look and design of this vacuum - black with some blue. It rolls really smoothly making it easy to push on any surface! I have 6 children, 3 dogs (2 are puppies!), and a cat. This vacuum worked amazingly for every mess my family made! We have all types of flooring - hard floors, carpeting, and area rugs. There wasn't a single flooring type it didn't work well on! My favorite feature on this vacuum is the hose. I was able to use it to clean the baseboards, fans, and books and crevices that were hard to reach. I would definitely recommend this vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great vacuum for weekly use all around the house. It was easy to set up, has a great design and color scheme. I didn't find it too heavy, and I liked the size and location of the cannister. I have used it for my hardwood floors, carpeted areas and my area rugs. I found it to be more effective on carpeted areas, but it worked fine on hardwood too. The cleaning power is about average. It sucked up quite a lot of dirt, dust and hair. My favorite two things about this vacuum are the tangle free brush roll (which is great for pets or people with long hair), and the attachments which are great for small spaces, high up places and stairwells. I would recommend this vacuum various areas of the house, especially carpeted and hardwood/tile areas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of the CleanView® Max Lift-Off was that it was easy to assemble right out of the box. It picked up so much dirt and dust and was perfect to use right before we used our carpet cleaner. The vacuum is pretty lightweight and easy to maneuver. It seems to have great suction. I tried it out on carpet in the living room and toy room, as well as on the hardwood in the foyer and the entry rugs that are thicker pile. The vacuum was easy to switch modes from low to high pile by sliding a button. We are a family of all girls and there is always hair all over the house. My favorite feature of this vacuum was that the hair doesn’t get stuck in the tangle-free brush roll! In the past it was always such a pain to remove hair that was twisted around the brush of other vacuums. I would absolutely recommend this vacuum!
