We used it on everything from high to low pile area rugs, hardwood floors, and tile. I have 2 dogs who shed a TON, and 2 young kids who leave a trail of crumbs and little bits of paper everywhere they go. This vacuum was able to pick it all up. I like that there are buttons to switch it between hard flooring (brush not spinning) and rugs/carpet, as well as how low or high it is depending on pile height. The only 2 negative things for me are it’s relatively heavy, and because it’s so bulky it couldn’t get very far under our couch/beds. Overall would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off is a great vacuum for a family with a lot of crumbs! I was given this upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I use it daily on large area rugs, stair runners, and hard wood floors. We typically use it for kid snacks (food crumbs and dirt) and the canister is simple to dump. It picks up all the food crumbs perfectly! It has a very obvious switch to change from the different floor surfaces. It is compact and fits very nicely in a small closet. It was also very simple to put together. My favorite feature is how easy it is to detach the wand to get into tight spaces (car seats and cleaning the car). Overall, I think this is a great product for everyday use with young families!

There are numerous pieces that come in the box, but it is very straightforward to get this vacuum set up and going. It took me approximately 1 minute to unbox it, set it up, and get vacuuming! The extra heads that come with this vacuum make it more versatile, meaning I only need this one tool versus a separate vacuum for large and small spaces. I particularly like how easy it is to remove and replace the container for emptying out the dust. I tested this vacuum on my living room carpet and my dining room hardwood floor. I also tested the transition between the two surfaces. For both rooms, I was looking to clean up small crumbs, hair, and food chunks. It took more than one pass to clean up the two rooms. I was disappointed to find that the vacuum pushed the bits backwards rather than picking them up. The vacuum did a great job of creating the pretty streaks in the carpet that just make it look extra clean! This vacuum isn't exceptionally light or low profile, but it does pack a punch in terms of power. I especially like that it can support itself upright without needing any disassembly. I had some trouble maneuvering the vacuum with one hand in tight spaces, but did appreciate that the head tilts. Overall, my first use of this vacuum left some things to be desired, but after some effort, it did get the job done!

We recently moved, and with having to clean up the old house AND clean up after renovations at the new house, my 13 year old vacuum finally died. The timing of receiving this new vacuum was perfect, as I was researching and planning to purchase a new vacuum within the next month. I've been using it for about two weeks now and love it! The all black design with touches of bright blue is sleek and clean looking. Suction is great, and it's so easy to use that my 6 year old has been vacuuming the living room carpet and using the wand to clean up crumbs all by himself. We have two long haired dogs, three kids 6 and younger, and my husband is a farmer- so lots of dirt tracked in, crumby messes galore, and dog hair everywhere. This vacuum gets it all up on our laminate floor and our carpeted areas. The wand is probably my favorite feature with the large angled handle making it easy to hold for long periods. I do wish the hose was a bit longer, but as the bottom beater section comes off and I can drag the canister around to gain that extra reach, it's not a deal breaker for me. I've not used it for the car yet, but being able to take that bottom off is going to be amazing for vacuuming out all the nooks and crannies in the suburban and the kids car seats! The cannister is easy to dump out after use, and the filters easy access to replace. No need to even glace through the manual- everything is simple to use. Overall this is a great workhorse vacuum for an active (messy) family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re a busy household with a toddler, two cats, and not a lot of time for cleaning, so we were really curious to see how the CleanView Max Lift-Off would hold up. Overall, we’ve been pleasantly surprised. The suction is quite strong, and it handled everything from crumbs in the kitchen to pet hair in the living room without a problem. We used it on tile, carpet, and some area rugs, and it adjusted well to all of them. It’s lightweight enough that we can quickly grab it for messes without feeling like it’s a whole production. The design looks nice and modern, and while some parts feel a little plastic-y, nothing’s broken and it’s holding up fine so far. That said, we’ll be watching how it holds up over time, especially the part where the head pulls back, since that’s where we’ve had problems with other vacuums. Our favorite part is definitely the roller attachment. Compared to our current vacuum from a different brand, it pulls up so much more, especially on rugs. Emptying the bin is quick and easy for the most part, though we did find that if something gets stuck in there, it takes a little extra effort to get it all out. All in all, it’s a great vacuum for our stage of life. It’s powerful, versatile, and makes cleanup less of a hassle, which is exactly what we need right now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is sleek looking and strong! It is easy to maneuver and lightweight but it packs a strong punch. I tried it out on my rug that had been vacuumed the precious day- and the amount of dust it picked up was amazing! You could see that there was a thick layer of grey in the drum just from my small rug! I went vacuum happy and went and vacuumed all the carpets! I am very pleased with this vacuum to say the least! There are so many cool features that make it user friendly. The suction is strong. The roller picks up all the crumbs like a broom would, closer to the floor than a standard vacuum. You can easily remove the wand woth one hand, and the wand itself is long so you can reach under beds or high up as well! There is another small turbo brush that is like a mini broom to attach to the wand. I'm imagining that being very helpful cleaning my kids crumbs in the back of my car. This vacuum is great for any household upkeep and any surface!

The Bissell CleanView Max Lift Off has quite a few pros! The design is sleek and not bulky, the top of the vacuum head is flat so it easily fits under furniture to ensure you get those are hard to reach places and two different attachments. I love that there is a duster attachment that can slide up when you need it or go back down when you don't, it also locks the duster in place when you use it so no frustration with it sliding down! This is especially nice when you want to use it on tables/baseboards so you don't worry about scratching things up. The turbo brush is excellent for stairs and had great suction power. Unfortunately for me, the vacuum had more cons than pros. It is a very heavy vacuum, even when you lift it off the base to use it in a carrying position. There are only 2 options for suction power-bare floor/low carpet or high carpet. I had spaces that don't really fit those options so it was a little tricky trying to decide which option would give me the best clean. When vacuuming on carpet, you could hear/feel the suction when pushing forward but when pulling back, it felt like the suction power was lost. The vacuum has a very strong vibration and could be bothersome to people who are sensitive to that sensation. It is also incredibly loud. The bottom bristle says it is tangle free but it easily got hair wrapped around the bristle and was a little frustrating to get it clipped off and removed. Overall, it had decent suction power but the limited options for controlling the level of suction power based on the flooring type as well as the loudness and heaviness made it less than ideal.

It easily transitions from carpets to hardwood floors, and the Lift-Off canister feature is a total lifesaver for stairs, upholstery, and those hard-to-reach corners. What really stood out to me was how lightweight and easy to maneuver it is, especially for someone who doesn’t want vacuuming to feel like a workout. The suction is incredible—even pet hair and crumbs didn’t stand a chance. I also love how simple it is to empty the dust bin and clean the filter. This vacuum has quickly become my favorite cleaning tool. It saves me time, keeps my home looking spotless, and gives me that satisfying deep-clean feeling every time. If you’re on the fence—get it. You won’t regret it!

So I needed a vacuum that can keep my floors clean and free of crumbs, dust, and everything in between. Well this was definitely the one! I have two cordless vacuums and a corded one and after I used this vacuum I was shocked to see so much dust, hair, and crumbs it picked up. It literally took one swipe and wow I was speechless. The cleaning power was awesome, it has so much suction. It helped me clean my carpeted areas and even hardwood floors without an issue. I love the look and design. It’s very minimal but yet slick. My favorite thing about this vacuum was the brush roll. You can turn it on for carpet cleaning and then turn it off for hard wood/floors. One thing I didn’t like about this vacuum was that its a bit heavy but other than that it’s definitely worth it and I would recommend this to all my family and friends especially anyone who has kids and pets!

The look and design are sleek, the performance is superb, and the noise is manageable. The cleaning power was so evident right away. It blew my other cordless vacuum right out of the water. I had recently vacuumed with my old device, but this new one picked up so much more and that was both mortifying/satisfying. In my house, this vacuum helped me to tackle toddler food and pet messed with ease. I primarily focused on carpeted areas of my home (area rug and carpeted stairs and bedrooms). I absolutely LOVED using the mini attachment on my stairs. Up until this point, I never felt like they were getting a deep cleaning so this left me giddy. Of course the absolute only downside here was the cord and maybe also the fact that sometimes it felt like it would tip over, but I’ll totally take those if it means more cleaning power and a lighter weight frame to lug around!!
