We Were already in the market for a new vacuum, so it was perfect timing. We have 2 dogs, a cat, and 3 feral children (ages 1-9), so we make plenty of crumbs, dust, and fur. The vacuum's first test was under not one, but two couches as we rearranged furniture. Apparently one of my kids spilled an entire tube of chips under the couch and smashed it into the carpet. This vacuum got it right up without any problem. Our other couch was on hard flooring and I adjusted the settings of the vacuum, turning off the roller, to gather all the fur and crumbs that had accumulated beneath. My favorite is how the vacuum's wand is easily detached in just a second to quickly vacuum up crumbs on the couch or the stairs. I've never had a vacuum that is so user friendly and efficient. Overall, 5 stars. I'm very happy with this.

As a person with a dog, I am constantly battling dog hair and wondering if I'm actually getting my floors and area rugs clean. With this vacuum, I am certain that it gets every bit of pet hair, dirt and dust off of every surface it's used on. I love that I can see inside the dirt collector and easily remove and put all of the vacuumed contents into the garbage. The mess of my home was no match for the cleaning power and suction of this vacuum. I easily tackled sand, dirt, hair, pet hair, and all of the random messes my toddler makes during the day. Even difficult to clean entry way mats look brand new after one vacuum. I used this vacuum on wood floors and area rugs. Usually I end up switching appliances while I am cleaning the floors in my home but with the Cleanview Max, I simply flip a switch to go between rugs and hard floors. My favorite feature of the vacuum is that the roller is designed to not get hair wrapped around it and it actually works! I used to end vacuuming sessions with painstakingly removing hair from around the roller but I no longer have to budget for that extra time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by the CleanView® Max Lift-Off! Right out of the box, it was super easy to assemble, which I really appreciated. It took me a moment to figure out where all the attachments went, but once I did, everything felt intuitive and accessible. Design-wise, I like the sleek look and how lightweight the vacuum feels, even with the detachable canister. One downside is that there's no foot pedal to lean it back—something I'm used to—so that took a little adjusting. The swivel head felt a bit awkward at first, but I quickly realized how helpful it was for maneuvering into tight corners and under furniture. As far as cleaning power goes, this vacuum really impressed me. I used it on hardwood floors and short carpet, and it picked up cat hair like a champ. It's also quieter than I expected, which made for a more pleasant cleaning experience. My favorite feature has to be the detachable main body and hose with attachments—it made it super easy to clean stairs and get into hard-to-reach areas. Overall, I'd give this vacuum 4 out of 5 stars. It's powerful, versatile, and easy to use once you get the hang of it. I thought my house was really clean so I was shocked when I used this vacuum the first time. I couldn't believe how much dirt and dog hair was in the cannister. It is light and easy to use but has amazing suction. It worked great on hardwood, low pile, and regular pile carpet. I would highly recommend the Max Lift-Off to anyone who has pets or kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You know you're getting old when you get excited when Stellar Product testing panel chooses you to review a new vacuum. I'll start with the assembly as it was really easy, I was using within minutes of opening the box. My house is a mix of carpet/hardwood/area rugs which I am in need of vacuuming often with toddlers and dogs in the house. It's a never ending mess of fur, crumbs, dirt on the floors and furniture. The ease moving from surface to surface is always a must when I look for a vacuum. The cleanview max does a great job with the transition of floor types, all done with a toggle of a button, also a slider to determine the suction strength which is great for those smaller rugs! It's easy to also push a button to have the wand release for those quick corner or under the couch cleanups. The same goes for emptying the canister.. It also comes with a few attachments which pop on and off the easily. The cord is a tad longer than what we've had in the past which is also a nice feature. A few downfalls in my eyes, it's a bit heavier than what I'm use to but still manageable to move around. There is no headlight on it, not a necessity but helpful for sure. Also, it would be more functional if the surface toggle and the suction slider were flipped on the unit itself. Overall, you would not be disappointed in this Bissell, it's a great machine and at a great price point!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression is that this vacuum is average and not over all better than a cordless stick vacuum for my specific house. First off the things I loved were the suction power on low pile carpets, the attachment storage, the way it seemed to get deeper dust and an good amount of hair, and that it is comparatively lightweight for its size. But the things I disliked don't make those things worth it for a corded vacuum in my opinion. Things I disliked were that it continually thought it was clogged and would auto shut off when trying to do my higher pile carpet which my smaller stick vacuum is able to handle with ease. It is loose weave and not so tall that this larger vacuum should have been stopping like that, so that was my first frustration. Second dislike was that on my vinyl flooring it was occasionally skipping over food or flinging it backwards with and without the roller function on. And third thing I disliked would be that for a corded vacuum I don't think it did anything much better than a similarly priced cordless stick vacuum could do because I still had to pass over some messes multiple times like bigger crumbs and just stuff my kids dropped on the floor throughout the day. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and tested it on multiple surfaces multiple times. Overall I would recommend for someone who is used to a corded vacuum, who has only low pile thick carpet. But otherwise I am not sure I would recommend this specific vacuum over others similarly priced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With its swivel steering, the CleanView Max Lift-Off upright vacuum is easy to maneuver around different surfaces of the house. It's powerful suction helps pick up the dust in the corner of the hardwood, the dog hair off the carpet and the cheerios in the kitchen. It also moves seamlessly through the thick carpet in the basement. The wand is easy to remove from the vacuum to get the corners and along the edges of the room and the entire base comes off the rolling wheels to easily vacuum the stairs. The large dustbin easily comes off for emptying after you are through with cleaning. Though the vacuum itself is a bit larger and heavier than some other vacuums, it is still manageable, and the high performance and versatility make it worthwhile. I'd give it 4.5/5 with the only negatives being that it is a little backwards heavy and the suction is not quite as good as some other brands, however it's still very good and not a problem. So onto the positives, the vacuum is easy to turn, it has an amazing lean action for easy control and swerving around obstacles. It's not hard to push either so as a petite woman with an achey back I haven't found this difficult at all to use. The attachments are easy to switch between and the initial piecing together of the vacuum was also extremely easy, I did it myself in less than a minute. Emptying the vacuum is also easy and I had no issues taking it off and putting it back on. I have two cats and this vacuum has no issues with carpet and hard flooring as well as cat hair and litter. I'll be using this as my main vacuum for the foreseeable future along with my cordless. I had it up and running in just a few minutes, which I really appreciated. One of my favorite features is how the attachments fit right onto the vacuum itself. No more running back to the closet for a tool—I always have what I need right there with me. With two big, thick-haired dogs in the house, we needed something powerful, and this vacuum absolutely delivers. It picks up pet hair like a champ, even from rugs and carpeted stairs. We also have kids with allergies and asthma, so the built-in HEPA filter was a huge selling point. It gives me peace of mind knowing it's capturing dust and allergens instead of pushing them back into the air. Despite its power, this vacuum is surprisingly lightweight and easy to maneuver around furniture and tight spaces. The quick-release extension wand is perfect for tackling blinds, ceiling corners, and other hard-to-reach spots without dragging out a second tool. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've struggled to find a consistent upright vacuum, going for a few different brands but never feeling fully satisfied in the clean level, often having to go over the same carpet a number of times. Then, I was given this clean view upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It easily picks up the dirt and pet hair from any floor (I used it on both my carpet floors and hardwood) without having to go over the area multiple times. Also, it seems to pick up more than other vacuums. The attached picture is how much it picked up from a single 8x8 carpet AFTER I went over it with my old vacuum first! The detachable hose includes two easy to use and store attachments that work well for couches and corners that the main unit can't reach. I have two cats, so being able to clean a couch is crucial for me. So far I'm very pleased with this vacuum and get to enjoy a much cleaner home!
