As a person with a dog, I am constantly battling dog hair and wondering if I'm actually getting my floors and area rugs clean. With this vacuum, I am certain that it gets every bit of pet hair, dirt and dust off of every surface it's used on. I love that I can see inside the dirt collector and easily remove and put all of the vacuumed contents into the garbage. The mess of my home was no match for the cleaning power and suction of this vacuum. I easily tackled sand, dirt, hair, pet hair, and all of the random messes my toddler makes during the day. Even difficult to clean entry way mats look brand new after one vacuum. I used this vacuum on wood floors and area rugs. Usually I end up switching appliances while I am cleaning the floors in my home but with the Cleanview Max, I simply flip a switch to go between rugs and hard floors. My favorite feature of the vacuum is that the roller is designed to not get hair wrapped around it and it actually works! I used to end vacuuming sessions with painstakingly removing hair from around the roller but I no longer have to budget for that extra time. This vacuum has been a solid addition to my cleaning routine. It's a bit lighter than your standard upright vacuum, which makes it easier to carry around and maneuver, especially with the lift-off canister for stairs and tight corners. The suction power is strong, and picks up dust, pet hair, and debris effectively on both carpet and hard floors. The sliding notch on the handle allows you to easily adjust the suction level, depending on the surface you're cleaning (hardwood/ low carpet vs plush carpet). The lift-off feature operates smoothly and detaches with minimal effort, eliminating the need for any excessive pulling or force. The canister is a decent size and is easy to empty. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions/ volume capacity, but I'm able to vacuum my whole downstairs (approx 1200 sq ft) before emptying it, even with a moderate amount of dog hair. I included a picture of my hand on top of it for reference. My only concern is durability—it doesn't feel as sturdy as some other vacuums I've used in the past. Some of the plastic components seem a little flimsy, so I'm curious how it will hold up over time with regular use. Overall, it cleans well and is convenient to use, but I knocked off one star for the build quality. Still, it's a well-performing vacuum that gets the job done efficiently.

I was impressed by its ability to do both my hardwood floors as well as the area rugs and runners in my home with just the touch of a button. I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and tried it for two weeks in my home, picking up after my 3 kids and dog. It was great on dog hair, did well picking up the (seemingly endless) spilled cereal and did just fine attacking the general dirt. My one complaint is that the cord was quite short so I had to move plugs a few times to get the job done. Overall, I highly recommend this product for regular cleaning around the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our home is a mix of hardwood and carpet. With rugs as well. Overall, I really love this vacuum. Our kids are under the age of six and we have a dog, So you can imagine the crumbs we are constantly dealing with. I like to look and the design has it's nice to see all the things that you are vacuuming up. You can easily access the collection area if you need to get something out. Some things I wanna point out. The suction options are nice to have. You could change it up between rugs and hard floors. We have a washable rug and it does a good job suctioning all the crumbs up, but doesn't pull off the rug itself. The one thing I would like to change would be to be able to put the accessory on the top part where the handle is. Instead of using the entire longer hosing. It's easy to pick up although it is a little bit on the heavier side. This was my first time using a Bissell vacuum and I feel like it was a good investment in our home.I received this as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

The CleanView Pet vacuum was great on both my hardwoods and my low and high pile carpet. My daughter has Berber in her room and we have a high pile carpet in our bedroom. The clean view max is the best on all different types of flooring. It did a great job on Berber and also high pile carpet. I was even impressed with the suction and sweeping power on hardwood floors. It sucked up a ton of hair that I couldn't even see. We have a dog and a cat and was very impressed with how well the vacuum worked. The amount of hair that was in the container was insane especially since we have been using our prior vacuum at least three times weekly before using the cleanview pet max. The vacuum was not very loud and I really liked all the attachments that come with it. The brush attachment for furniture did a great job getting pet hair out. I love the attachable hose for ceiling dirt. It was easy to clean my blinds and upholstery with the hose that detaches without stopping vacuuming. Impressive!

It is easy to assemble, easy to use, and efficiently picks up pet hair and dirt from both carpets and hardwood floors. The suction is excellent, the vacuum is lightweight, cord is lengthy and the canister is very easy to clean! It also saves me from having to purchase replacement bags! I love the swivel head as it makes getting under the kitchen table and couch very easy. It is powerful, but not too noisy! It also has an attractive design. I would highly recommend this product. Thus far, it is the best vacuum I've ever owned. 5/5 stars!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying out the CleanView Max Lift-Off I received as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was overall impressived with this lightweight but heavy duty vacuum. The design is sleek but also built durable, as I anticipate with all Bissell products. The assembly instructions were easy to follow right out of the box. We live in an “every season is dog hair shedding season” household and this vacuum did wonders on both carpet and hard wood floor spaces we have throughout the house. I love the option to turn on and off the brush roll when I go from carpeted areas to hard wood areas. Although the CleanView Max is lightweight to power was great for picking up dirt, dust, and (an absolutely perk for us) dog hair. Being able to see into the dirt tank is satisfyingly gross but emptying and cleaning the tank was extremely easy. In addition, the CleanView also was able to get under chairs and couches at a great angle without having to readjust. Besides the brush roll option (on or off), I love the attachments that came with this vacuum that connect to the hose. The TurboBrush tool was great for removing dog hair from our couches and chairs. The 2 in 1 dusting Brush and Crevice tool is also amazing for those tight spaces, corners and baseboards!

Assembly was quick and simple—it came in six pieces and took about three minutes to put together without the instruction book. Its sleek, slim design makes it easy to maneuver around tight spaces in the home. The vacuum includes a wand and Turbo Brush attachment, which is great for cleaning spots like couch cushions. However, the hose on the wand is quite short, which limits its reach and convenience. One feature is the lift-off portable option that allows you to detach the wand and dust bin from the base. It's a good idea in theory, especially for stairs, but I found it a bit heavy and awkward—especially with the short wand length. It wasn't much easier than just carrying the whole vacuum up the stairs. Another design flaw I noticed is the electrical cord placement on the right side of the vacuum. I vacuum with my right hand and manage the cord with my left so I constantly had to step over or swing the cord around to keep it from getting in the way. As for performance, the vacuum handles cleaning well. With a toddler and three shedding pets, it's kept up nicely across tile, rugs, and plush carpet. Overall, I was impressed with the cleaning power, but the design flaws limited the full potential of the vacuum.

It is VERY lightweight for a heavy duty, corded vacuum. I love the attachment storage right in the sides on the vacuum itself. The lift off feature is also a favorite. I can easily vacuum couches and carpeted stairs with this feature. I also found myself vacuuming baseboards, when I wouldn't have previously just because it was so easy and light weight. I used this vacuum on carpet, rugs, hardwood floors, baseboards, and couches and was impressed on each surface. I had recently vacuumed with our older vacuum from another brand and was astounded at how much the CleanView Max Lift Off collected! I will be recommending this vacuum and the price point is also desirable !
