After moving into a new house recently with way more carpet than we had before, I've been so impressed with the CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum. From the moment I took it out of the box, it was easy to set up and incredibly lightweight—which makes a big difference when you're vacuuming often as I am. With three kids, our house is full of the usual daily messes—crumbs, dirt, and whatever else ends up on the floor—and this vacuum has handled it all without a problem. I've also used it on our hardwood floors, and it transitions seamlessly between surfaces without scattering dirt or leaving anything behind, like my other vaccuums did. My favorite feature is the Lift-Off canister. It's so convenient for cleaning stairs, furniture, and hard-to-reach spots without having to maneuver the entire vacuum. We recently hosted extended family, including a lot of little kids, and this vacuum honestly became my best friend that week. It kept our space clean and saved me a lot of time and stress. Overall, it's been a fantastic addition to our home—and I can't wait to keep using it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received this through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. At first glance I was impressed with this vacuum. Unboxing and assembly were a snap. Took maybe two minutes and it was ready to use. Immediately noticed how quick and easy it was to swap from one function to another and back to the full vacuum. Though I found it a bit ungainly to use the lift off version to clean stairs as it was tricky to manage the tall handle without anything falling over, I was nonetheless pleased with how much power the wand had and it performed well. We used it on hard floors and it worked quite well. On taller carpet it was a bit harder to push than expected, might be nice if the roller could be raised a bit for that surface. But, again, it did a great job of cleaning. The turning mechanism is quite nice and made it simple to get around bedside tables and chair legs, and the fact that standing up it doesn't take up much more room than a single floor tile makes it easy to store. When we used it on a thin rug the roller stopped on its own several times. I'm not sure if that's a feature or a bug, but it was not something I'd seen before. We haven't needed to clean out filters yet, but from what I can see it seems quite simple. Overall, it seems like a good vacuum despite the minor issues. I especially liked how well it cleaned. Definitely packs a punch for its size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You know you're getting old when you get excited when Stellar Product testing panel chooses you to review a new vacuum. I'll start with the assembly as it was really easy, I was using within minutes of opening the box. My house is a mix of carpet/hardwood/area rugs which I am in need of vacuuming often with toddlers and dogs in the house. It's a never ending mess of fur, crumbs, dirt on the floors and furniture. The ease moving from surface to surface is always a must when I look for a vacuum. The cleanview max does a great job with the transition of floor types, all done with a toggle of a button, also a slider to determine the suction strength which is great for those smaller rugs! It's easy to also push a button to have the wand release for those quick corner or under the couch cleanups. The same goes for emptying the canister.. It also comes with a few attachments which pop on and off the easily. The cord is a tad longer than what we've had in the past which is also a nice feature. A few downfalls in my eyes, it's a bit heavier than what I'm use to but still manageable to move around. There is no headlight on it, not a necessity but helpful for sure. Also, it would be more functional if the surface toggle and the suction slider were flipped on the unit itself. Overall, you would not be disappointed in this Bissell, it's a great machine and at a great price point!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box this was super easy to piece together, no tools required. I like that the vacuum is tall enough to be comfortable for me to use, I am 5'9". It's a nice looking machine, with clearly marked, large buttons for all controls, without any added unsightly colors. The foot is not overly wide, I find it fits under the edges of everything I have with ease. My favorite feature was the most amazing flexibility that it has with tight turns! The handle leans way down sideways to easily make low clearance corners. I found it has great cleaning power on carpet and tiled floors, it cleaned up everything I tried with ease, including hair, lint, sand and dry food crumbles. The power switch is clearly marked to turn the brush on or off depending on your needs. As much as I love this as an upright vacuum, I was pretty disappointed with the lift away option. It is heavy and bulky, as the entire pod lifts off the foot in one unit. It's cumbersome with the tall handle still attached but it does clean just as well using the hand tools. This vacuum has 3 filters, a HEPA that should be replaced twice a year and 2 other filters in and on the dust receptacle that are easily rinsed out and reinstalled. All in all, this is a great upright vacuum with really easy to operate controls, easy to clean/change filters, easy to empty dust receptacle, great maneuverability and really great cleaning power. It is very simple to set up and I love the extra cleaning attachments is comes with. We have 6 children, 3 dogs and 6 cats in our home. On top of that, I run a daycare and have all the messes that come with toddlers. This vacuum has been a champ handling all of it. From husky fur to cat hairballs, crushed cookies to spilled rice, this vacuum thoroughly cleans up the messes. I have used it multiple times on carpet, area rugs, linoleum and my unfinished concrete flooring with no issues. I am extremely impressed with the suction power of this vacuum and it is fairly lightweight as well. My favorite is the liftoff feature that allows me to clean the stairs without bringing the whole machine. I used this for the first time AFTER using my previous vacuum cleaner and the amount of junk left behind that this cleaned easily was honestly disgusting. It truly is unmatched.

Overall, this is a great vacuum for its all-in-one versatility and its cleaning power which includes a HEPA sealed system. My family suffers from allergies, especially this time a year, so a HEPA filter vacuum is essential. We vacuum more than once a week to try to stay on top of clearing dust and allergens from our home and minimize our symptoms. This vacuum has been great in eliminating dust on our hardwood floors, as well as our rugs and upholstery. I like that it has a sealed HEPA system, but is also bagless so I don't need to mess with purchasing and changing out bags. My favorite feature though is the lift-off capability. Our previous vacuum didn't have this feature and I could see an immediate difference in how much easier it makes cleaning. I was able to use it along with the extension wand to clean our curtains, shades/blinds, ceiling fans, and high shelves. It not only makes cleaning these typically more difficult areas pretty effortless, but is also more thorough and doesn't spread around the dust in the air like when I dusted. The canister is fairly lightweight too so even my older kiddo was able to carry it around and use it. It's helpful that in the case of mealtime messes, which happen frequently in our house, I don't have to pull out the entire vacuum but can use the lift-off feature as well. I also appreciate its cleaning power and that it doesn't scatter messes. My toddler dropped a glass blender jar which went all over our kitchen floor. I have had issues with previous vacuums not being able to pick up this type of mess thoroughly or just moving it around the room, and did not experience these issues with this vacuum. It was efficient in picking up all the glass quickly and I was able to confirm this by checking the clear dirt cup inside the vacuum. My husband was surprised because usually we have to vacuum the area a few times when this type of mess happens, but this vacuum was able to pick it up efficiently and effectively.  I would recommend this vacuum to those looking for a product that is good for allergies and many different types of flooring and messes. We're looking forward to getting many years of use out of our new Bissell.

This vacuum is lightweight for a corded vacuum and has a lot of very convenient and easy to use features. It's great for combo flooring in a house, we have carpet upstairs and LVP on the main level, with tile in the bathrooms and several rugs. The handle has settings to switch between for plush carpet and bare floor which is really nice, and the suction for both is the right level. There are two different attachments you can use with a removeable wand handle for baseboards or high up places. My favorite part is how easy it is to empty. The cannister is extremely easy to take off to empty and then go right back. It also is large enough that I can vacuum all 4 bedrooms upstairs before I have to empty it. It has been able to vacuum up all the hair around the house with no clogging issues and sucks up all the crumbs everywhere from having a toddler. I would definitely recommend this vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression is that this vacuum is average and not over all better than a cordless stick vacuum for my specific house. First off the things I loved were the suction power on low pile carpets, the attachment storage, the way it seemed to get deeper dust and an good amount of hair, and that it is comparatively lightweight for its size. But the things I disliked don't make those things worth it for a corded vacuum in my opinion. Things I disliked were that it continually thought it was clogged and would auto shut off when trying to do my higher pile carpet which my smaller stick vacuum is able to handle with ease. It is loose weave and not so tall that this larger vacuum should have been stopping like that, so that was my first frustration. Second dislike was that on my vinyl flooring it was occasionally skipping over food or flinging it backwards with and without the roller function on. And third thing I disliked would be that for a corded vacuum I don't think it did anything much better than a similarly priced cordless stick vacuum could do because I still had to pass over some messes multiple times like bigger crumbs and just stuff my kids dropped on the floor throughout the day. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and tested it on multiple surfaces multiple times. Overall I would recommend for someone who is used to a corded vacuum, who has only low pile thick carpet. But otherwise I am not sure I would recommend this specific vacuum over others similarly priced.

It's small enough to fit into tight spaces and is very easy to maneuver. It's a bit heavier than I would expect looking at it, but nothing that makes it too hard to use. The size makes it easy to get in and out of the closet and use it more often. Our house is a mix of tile, rugs, and carpet, and it works well on all of them. It's easy to switch the spinning brush off when on tile and on for the carpet. So far, it hasn't wrapped up all the hair like so many vacuums do! Overall, I'm very impressed with this vacuum!

I was both deeply impressed and honestly disgusted by the amount of dust, debris, and cat fur this powerful vacuum pulled up. Seeing it swirl around the clear canister was both horrifying and incredibly satisfying. I thought I was doing a decent job keeping my floors clean, but this vacuum exposed the truth. After just one use, my home felt cleaner and I felt motivated to vacuum more often. I started vacuuming more thoroughly to see how much dirt it could catch: a lot. A few drawbacks to note. It's definitely heavy, so carrying it up and down stairs isn't effortless. Also, I found the cord got in the way more than I'd like, and I really missed having a retractable cord—it's a small thing, but makes a big difference when you're cleaning frequently. Despite those minor cons, this vacuum has totally upped my cleaning game. If you're looking for something powerful and oddly motivating, the BISSELL CleanView Max Lift-Off delivers.
