[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first opened the box, I thought the vacuum looked nice. The design is rather simple; I wouldn't say this is the most aesthetically pleasing vacuum on the market. I used the vacuum on hardwood surfaces and a large area rug, cleaning mostly dust and crumbs. The suction power was good, and the wheels (made of rubber) rolled smoothly. I liked that they are made of rubber because it was noticeably quiet when vacuuming on hard surfaces. When looking for a vacuum, I always look for something bagless and easy to clean. This vacuum checked both boxes. The dirt cup has a large view and is easy to empty. I liked that the foam filter at the top of the dirt cup was thick but still quick-drying. I also liked having the option of using the wand and lifting the dirt cup off and being more portable. There were a few things I didn't like about the vacuum though. First, the button for the depth (i.e. plush carpet to bare floor) is a sliding switch and left me guessing. I would have preferred a sliding button with a set notch each for plush carpet, medium carpet, and low carpet/bare floor. Second, I really, really, really didn't like the location of the power button. The depth button is on the vacuum handle, but the power button is down by the top of the dirt cup. It felt really unnatural to have the power button not built into the handle. On the far left of the power toggle button, you have the off switch and then the middle and far right dictate whether or not the roller brush spins. When transitioning between the hardwood and the area rug, I didn't like that the two buttons I needed to mess with (depth and brush) were not conveniently near each other on the handle. So it was always this awkward pause to mess with the settings when switching back and forth instead of seamlessly and quickly transitioning. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I think this vacuum is fantastic. Simple design with a medium weight to it. Was easy to unbox and took less than four minutes to assemble. This vacuum revitalized one of my beloved rugs in a high traffic area of the house. I have two kids it sucked up so much dust and dirt. After vacuuming my rugs they felt more fluffy. Also works great on hard wood floors. I like the wand feature the best. It releases nicely and makes the hard to reach places easy to clean. Turbobrush attachment was great for the couch.

It's lightweight, sleek, and well designed. The lift off feature is my favorite feature. It is great for vacuuming stairs, making it easier to carry up and down the stairs. It transitions great from carpet to hardwood, I used it on both surfaces and with the switch of a button it transitions wonderfully. The clear view filter is amazing, I love being able to see all the work the vacuum is doing and I can easily tell when the filter needs to be cleaned. This vacuum has great cleaning power and I am very pleased with it! The only con of this vacuum is having to wind up the cord, I wish it had a retractable cord, other than that, a great vacuum that does a wonderful job cleaning.

I have two small children, so I need something that quickly and easily handles hardwood floors, carpet, bathroom floors- and this has been it! I have never had such an easy-to-use vacuum that is quick to empty and also simple to use the handheld attachments. I love this vacuum for the quick, day to day moments and also for the deep cleans on baseboards and ceiling fans. Would recommend this in a heartbeat to all the other busy moms!

I vacuumed my entire upstairs (carpet) with my old vacuum then re-vacuumed the same are with THIS vacuum and it picked up so much more dust/lint - it shocked me. It does great on carpets and good on hardwood. I received this product as party of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and am so excited to keep this vacuum! I'm throwing my old one out. Buy it!!

It thoroughly cleans my floors, handling a substantial amount of debris, fur, food, and dirt. The attachment pieces have proven useful in cleaning baseboards and under beds, although I wish the thin nozzle could extend further to access deeper areas. The vacuum head swivels effortlessly and is easy to control. The adjustable suction levels and option to turn off the spinning feature on the vacuum head are appreciated. The design allows for effortless movement throughout the house. It has consistently performed well on LVP and area rugs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum through the Stellar Product Testing Panel but the opinions here are my own. Wow! This vacuum was Powerful! My first time using the vacuum, I vacuumed the rug in my family room. Normally I leave our automatic vacuum to take care of that rug, but I won't anymore! This Bissell CleanView Max vacuum was AMAZING at getting out the pet fur, dirt, dust, and hair that had accumulated on the rug. I had to vacuum and empty the waste canister several times before the rug was cleaned well- that's how poorly my other vacuum did, and how well the Bissell CleanView Max did. My teenager even commented how much better the rug looked! I also have tried the vacuum on hard floors (the suction is still wonderful unlike other vacuums), stairs, and carpet. The Bissell was a little hard to push on the carpet, but then I noticed I could change the setting for how thick my carpet is. That changed everything and made vacuuming the carpet so much easier! I love that I can take the canister off the wheel base, to be able to vacuum on stairs. And I can even vacuum in corners and tight to reach places easily with the extension nozzle. One thing I am not completely thrilled with is how “tight” the extension hose is. I understand that the extension hose needs to be tight enough to keep the hose from dangling loose. But if I vacuum with just the hose, the vacuum falls over if I reach too far. Now, having said that, I believe the strength of the suction in this vacuum far outweighs the annoyance of having to be careful that I don't pull the vacuum over. I am definitely going to tell my friends that this vacuum is worth every penny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently started using the CleanView Max Lift-Off and consider it an excellent option for both carpet and non-carpeted areas. I especially like the convenient slider on the handle to transition from different types of flooring. My home has approximately a 50-50 split between carpet and non-carpeted areas, and I have a small dog. The vacuum has great suction power, pulling out dirt that I didn’t even know existed from our main floor area rug completely filling the canister with both dog hair and dirt. My favorite feature is the combination of how light the vacuum is, and the suction power encased in such a small package. The biggest drawback is the length of the power cord; while not overly detrimental, it does take a few more moves than I would have preferred. Overall, a great vacuum with good suction power.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I thought this vacuum was simple and easy to use. It is relatively lightweight and is lighter than my other brand name vacuum that is similar. The look and design is pretty basic and is the size of a standard full size vacuum so can't hide it away. Cleaning power and suction was great. Didn't have to go over places twice and really enjoyed the clear view suction, the fact you can turn the brush on or off, and the different levels for hard vs carpeted surfaces. I did a deep clean on my living room and kitchen to pick up so much dog hair and kid crumbs. The wand and lift away made things easier to get under the couches and appliances. I love how the extra tools fit right on the vacuum sides as I always never know where to store those. Tangle free brush seemed to work well although time will tell if all the long girl hair will overtake it. I mostly used on hardwood and non plush rugs and the swivel at the bottom worked really well and better than my other vacuums. Overall pretty standard, basic vacuum and I will be reaching for this over my old vacuum for its lightweightness, easy swivel, and the fact the tools all fit on the vacuum. Oh, and I also loved the cleaning brush for the couches which had great suction that worked really well. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little skeptical at first because the CleanView Max Lift-Off is so much lighter than my previous corded vacuum … so I wondered if it would be as powerful, have equivalent suction capacity, clean my house as well as my old one did, etc. I shouldn’t have worried! It’s lighter but so much smoother (SO MUCH SMOOTHER), easier to maneuver, the profile is smaller and the wheeled vacuum can fit in smaller spaces, and the wand detaches easily and seamlessly. My one complaint is that I wish the cord was a little longer (I’d previously figured out exactly how many times I’d have to unplug and replug my old vacuum and where and now am trying to determine that new routine – but know that I have to do so more than I used to in order to hit all of the areas of my house. The first time I used it, I was astonished at how much it picked up. Yes, it’s dusty right now and cottonwood is falling from the trees, which made me think that it might be picking up more than normal. But I think it’s that the CleanView Max Lift-Off actually picks up more than my old vacuum did. I mean, look at the picture! That was from it’s inaugural spin through our downstairs, which is a mix of hardwood, tile, and carpet (and most of that is insane dust, etc. from the carpet). I was delighted but also a little grossed out. Overall, I like the look and feel and maneuverability of this vacuum. I like that it’s mostly black and don’t mind the blue accents (it’s much better than my previous purple one!). The lighter weight and less heavy duty plastic made me think it might be insubstantial or cheap but I haven’t found that at all. Thus far it has helped tackle messes made by three young kids and two adults and it’s so satisfying to hear it suck up mess from under the dinner table! I’d definitely recommend this vacuum and really my rating is 4.5 stars – 5 stars if there was a longer cord! I’m so glad to have it help me clean the house!
