Customer reviews for Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off Upright Vacuum with HEPA Sealed Allergen System forAmazed at what my old vacuum left behind
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as it arrived, I needed to put it up against my old vacuum. I was blown away at how much ‘stuff' the CleanView Max Lift-Off picked up after I had just vacuumed. Why did I put up with a vacuum that didn't pick everything up? Plus being able to see all the grime and as pretty cool. Having kids that track in all the outdoor things, I was ready to put it to the test after our first trial! It did amazing at cleaning up the dried mud, wood shavings, leaf pieces, etc. The CleanView did great on my area rugs and hardwood floors, however the switching between rug and floor was not great. It left stuff behind when I didn't have enough space to be fully on one or the other. I also trialed it on my carpet but felt like it was heavy and a little bit harder to maneuver. Overall it does a great job when focusing on a specific type of flooring. I love that all the attachments have a home on the machine vs trying to keep track of where I put them when they are needed. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum
Great machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You know you're getting old when you get excited when Stellar Product testing panel chooses you to review a new vacuum. I'll start with the assembly as it was really easy, I was using within minutes of opening the box. My house is a mix of carpet/hardwood/area rugs which I am in need of vacuuming often with toddlers and dogs in the house. It's a never ending mess of fur, crumbs, dirt on the floors and furniture. The ease moving from surface to surface is always a must when I look for a vacuum. The cleanview max does a great job with the transition of floor types, all done with a toggle of a button, also a slider to determine the suction strength which is great for those smaller rugs! It's easy to also push a button to have the wand release for those quick corner or under the couch cleanups. The same goes for emptying the canister.. It also comes with a few attachments which pop on and off the easily. The cord is a tad longer than what we've had in the past which is also a nice feature. A few downfalls in my eyes, it's a bit heavier than what I'm use to but still manageable to move around. There is no headlight on it, not a necessity but helpful for sure. Also, it would be more functional if the surface toggle and the suction slider were flipped on the unit itself. Overall, you would not be disappointed in this Bissell, it's a great machine and at a great price point!
Solid Vacuum Cleaner for Pet Owners
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, I had a mixed experience with this vacuum. It has some great features that really stood out, but also a few tweaks I would make. In terms of look and design, the vacuum is sleek and modern. It has a compact build that doesn't take up much storage space, and the detachable base is a clever touch. I really liked the feature where the base can disconnect — it made it easier to clean stairs and tight corners without hauling the whole vacuum around. The spinning attachment head was another favorite of mine; it did a good job loosening up dirt and sucking up pet hair, especially on carpeted surfaces. When it comes to cleaning power, the vacuum definitely had strong suction. It helped me tackle everyday messes like dust, crumbs, and pet hair with no problem. I used it on a variety of surfaces — hardwood, low-pile carpet, and area rugs — and it performed well across the board in terms of picking up debris. Unfortunately, I did run into a couple of issues. The vacuum was surprisingly difficult to maneuver, especially in tighter areas. I found myself having to wrestle with it a bit more than I'd like. Another downside was the base spin brush — it kept getting jammed, which slowed down my cleaning routine and was frustrating to fix. All in all, this vacuum has some solid cleaning power and smart features, but the handling issues and brush jams might be a dealbreaker for some. If the maneuverability was improved, it would be a much stronger contender.
Powerful Lightweight vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to review the CleanView Max Lift Off through Stellar Product Testing Panel and I am so happy that I did. My house is 90% carpet so a vacuum is essential in my everyday cleaning. As soon as I received it I got straight to putting it together! The process was simple, clear instructions were provided and everything clicked in together effortlessly. My first project was the living room. Right away, I could see dust getting picked up and accumalating in the bin. The suction power is strong and the brush really got into the carpet. I also tried out the Turbo Brush on my couch and was so impressed! Even that small brush really packed some power. My second project was cleaning my car. The dirt bin completely detached from the carpet brush making it lightweight and easier to use when working on a car. The vacuum hose and crevice tool were very useful for car vacuuming. Overall, all the tools provided, worked excellently and it was fun to use the vacuum. If I could change one thing, I think I would change the vacuum switch. You have to choose from the off/brush/no brush options. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone with pets and children.
Perfect solution to keeping a home spotless (and hair-less!)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I got the chance to try out the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off, and I've gotta say—I'm seriously impressed. First off, it looks great and feels super sturdy. The design is clean and modern, and I really liked how easy it was to figure everything out right away. The detachable lift-off pod is a cool feature that makes it really convenient for quick cleanups or getting into harder-to-reach spots. As far as performance goes, this vacuum is a beast—in the best way. I've got two dogs who shed a lot, and it picked up all the pet hair without needing to go over the same spot a bunch of times. I used it on hardwood, linoleum, and a few area rugs, and it crushed it on every surface. There are a bunch of suction settings too, which is awesome for switching between floor types or mess levels. One of my favorite features has to be the extended-reach handle. Being able to use it to get into corners, under furniture, or up high without needing extra attachments made cleaning so much easier. I also love that it's bagless—the canister is super easy to empty with one hand, which is always a plus. It's a little on the heavier side, so it might not be ideal for someone who needs something super lightweight. And while some folks prefer cordless, I actually like that it's corded because the power is just way better and I don't have to worry about charging it. All in all, this vacuum has definitely earned a spot in my cleaning routine!
Decent Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that this vacuum deserves 3.5 stars, but since I can't give half stars, I gave it the benefit of the doubt. This vacuum is sturdy and built well. It rolls smoothly, and transitioning from carpet/rug to hardwood is good. The cleaning power is good on hardwood, but only ok on carpet. There is no light at the front of the vacuum. Even though this is a small feature, it lights up the area making dirt more visible. So not having a light makes cleaning more difficult. The max fill line in the debris tank only goes about 1/3 of the way up the tank (see picture). So I'm constantly having to empty it. I like the lift off feature. It makes cleaning areas like stairs and high surfaces more convenient. Overall, this is a well built vacuum, but lacks a little in performance. And at the end of the day, it does everything a vacuum is supposed to do. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this vacuum to review!
CleanView® Max Lift-Off
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the CleanView® Max Lift-Off from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, it's a powerful vacuum that thoroughly cleaned my hardwood, tile, and carpet. It has a sleek and lightweight design that was pretty easy to navigate. It was able to vacuum up cat litter accurately without sending some pieces flying in different directions which I appreciated! The dust bin has a large capacity so I was able to clean my whole home without stopping to empty it. However, my only gripe is that it would sometimes snap back into the upright position while I was vacuuming which required me to stop what I'm doing and step on the base gently to lean it back again to use. This happened to me 3 different times during one use. Besides that, the vacuum worked great!
A Functional Spin on Traditional Vacuum Cleaning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From assembly, use on multiple surfaces, and clean-out, the Bissel CleanView™ Max Lift-Off is a powerful vacuum cleaner that can tackle nearly anything that life can throw your way. Throughout my use of this vacuum cleaner, I was impressed by its ease-of-use, handy features, and overall cleaning power. As a father of three young children, a powerful and versatile vacuum is a necessity. This vacuum was able to tackle every non-liquid-based mess in our entire house. From oatmeal to kinetic sand, this vacuum was able to tackle messes on hardwood floor, carpet, and area rugs with ease. The vacuum comes with a feature that allows you to easily switch between the normal rotating bristle and a suction-only mode. Additionally, the handle has a built-in sliding switch that allows for quick adjustment of suction power based on the surface being cleaned. These features together proved especially useful in seamlessly switching between the hardwood and area rug in our living room. However, my favorite part of this vacuum is it's versatility when using the hose. The hose is built into the handle of the vacuum, and it detaches easily, making for a hassle-free switch between traditional vacuuming to using the hose. The hose comes with a rotating bristle head that was able to clean our couches and suede dining room chairs with ease. But the best part of using the hose is that the entire body portion of the vacuum lifts off the main bristle head, allowing you to carry it with you while you use the hose with ease. This allows you to move about the house, using the hose to get in hard-to-reach places without accidentally pulling the entire vacuum over. Overall, this vacuum was clearly designed with both form and function in mind. It will be a great addition to any home. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
Best vacuum ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted the Cleanview Max Lift-Off by the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have a dog and two kids and I vacuum almost every day. I thought my house was really clean so I was shocked when I used this vacuum the first time. I couldn't believe how much dirt and dog hair was in the cannister. It is light and easy to use but has amazing suction. It worked great on hardwood, low pile, and regular pile carpet. I would highly recommend the Max Lift-Off to anyone who has pets or kids!
Perfect clean- great vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to the Stellar Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum. I have really enjoyed this vacuum through our home. We have a mixture of laminate flooring and carpet, heavier on the laminate. With kids, the floor always seems to have crumbs. This vacuum is easy and quick to use to clean, sometimes multiple times per day. The string suction works great to get the little crumbs in hard to reach areas. I also love the detachable canister. It is very convenient to take the canister up the stairs to clear rather than hauling the entire vacuum. Overall, we love this vacuum and would highly recommend.
