I have a large family and a large dog, so cleaning floors is something I do almost everyday. This CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum cleaner gets the job done and checks every box when it comes to what I look for in a vacuum. First, it's super powerful. I was amazed at just how much dirt came out of my carpets after using it for the first time. My steps never looked so clean! Speaking of steps, the attachments come in very handy for this. They are easy to put on and take off and they store right on the unit, so they won't get lost. I like to use the smaller brush attachment to clean baseboards, corners, and other hard to reach places around the house. I also love that I can go from carpets to bare floors with the click of a button. I have multiple flooring surfaces and this vacuum is great at tackling them all. I even began to use it to vacuum the kitchen floor rather than sweeping it with a broom like I used to. It sucks up dirt and traps it better than any dustpan could ever do. The see through canister makes it easy to see how much dirt was collected and it's quick and easy to empty it and snap back in place. I am very impressed with this product and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great, easy-to-use, versatile vacuum.

It's easy to switch between modes really quickly. It worked well on my hard floors. The rugs got stuck a little, but it still managed to get them clean. I do wish the controls were more centralized and accessible from the handle instead of being spread out across the body. A few more attachment options would also be a welcome addition for even greater flexibility. I appreciate that this vacuum plugs in, as I've had batteries die on other vacuums before finishing so this is a fantastic backup. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I got the chance to try out the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off, and I've gotta say—I'm seriously impressed. First off, it looks great and feels super sturdy. The design is clean and modern, and I really liked how easy it was to figure everything out right away. The detachable lift-off pod is a cool feature that makes it really convenient for quick cleanups or getting into harder-to-reach spots. As far as performance goes, this vacuum is a beast—in the best way. I've got two dogs who shed a lot, and it picked up all the pet hair without needing to go over the same spot a bunch of times. I used it on hardwood, linoleum, and a few area rugs, and it crushed it on every surface. There are a bunch of suction settings too, which is awesome for switching between floor types or mess levels. One of my favorite features has to be the extended-reach handle. Being able to use it to get into corners, under furniture, or up high without needing extra attachments made cleaning so much easier. I also love that it's bagless—the canister is super easy to empty with one hand, which is always a plus. It's a little on the heavier side, so it might not be ideal for someone who needs something super lightweight. And while some folks prefer cordless, I actually like that it's corded because the power is just way better and I don't have to worry about charging it. All in all, this vacuum has definitely earned a spot in my cleaning routine!

I was pleased by how light it is and how smooth it is as it glides across my hardwood floors. It has great suction on carpet and hardwood. The vacuum is easy to empty and I was pleased with how much it picked up. I took off two stars because the turbo brush attachment doesn't work which was a bummer as I was excited to use it on my steps. When I tried to use it the roller bar would stop spinning once any pressure was used. I tried it on multiple surface types and it did the same thing every time.

I am so impressed (and grossed out) by what it's been able to lift out of our carpets that our previous vacuums have not. It's been a while since we've had a plug in vacuum and I didn't realize how much power I was sacrificing for the sake of convenience. The unit itself is a little heavy but not unmanageable. Being able to separate the base for stair vacuuming and getting into tighter spaces is very convenient and helps a lot with the weight issue. We have an even mix of hard surface floor and carpet and this vacuum does great on both. It's intuitively easy to use and gets the job done well. Our other vacuum is 12 years old, and like other appliances in the home, has reached its limits. I appreciate the compactness of the machine, and takes us less space than I imagined. The cleaning power is great; we used it to clean up pet hair and dust bunnies on our hardwood floors; swept up messes on our kitchen linoleum; under the couch cushion; and even used it in our car, in between and under the seats. While the machine is branded for pets, I appreciate its versatility and portability in cleaning up any mess we tried. My favorite feature is the "no more hair wrap". You never realize how many longer debris items get caught in your vacuum cleaner's cylinder, and this machine rings true to the advertising. I didn't have to spend an extra 10 minutes unraveling and cutting out debris in order to continue cleaning. I would highly recommend this product for anyone with kids, pets, or for folks who have a variety of surfaces to clean.

Compared to our other upright vacuum that is similar to this Bissell there are minor details that this vacuum has that make a difference and more loveable. - The long wand is very flexible. - It is very easy and smooth to maneuver. - The canister and wand is very easy to release . - You do not need to unravel all of the cord to separate the canister (this was a huge plus for us). - Different adapters that serve different purposes. They also stay put. The adapters on my other vacuum always falls off. We used this vacuum on wood floor, carpet, and area rugs. With all the hair that my daughters and I accumulate everywhere, this really picks it up. The kids are also really messy when they eat and this picks up all the little crumbs that drop on the floor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a fan and owner of Bissell for years now. I try something different and always return or compare to my tried and true. This new lift-off vacuum has become the number grab when I need to clean up something. The design is comparable to most other models - its clean, sleek and easy to set up/clean/use. It has a little weight to it so don't expect it to be light. (I don't personally mind, heavier vacuums are stronger). The cleaning power - WOW - I had just vacuumed with my older model the day before I got this so I did a second round. The amount of dust/hair this picked up was insane. I thought they looked clean - guess I was wrong! I have 4 kids and 3 dog so this gets the job done especially on carpet. Works great on hardwood as well. You can lift off the canister from the base and move around to get places that are harder to reach or maneuver around (i.e. the stairs or on furniture). The canister is easy to empty and could be cleaned in the sink when that time comes. There are several attachments that come in handy for small areas or non floor vacuuming. Again the best thing about this vacuum is the power. It is top notch!! Much appreciation to Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this unit to try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've struggled to find a consistent upright vacuum, going for a few different brands but never feeling fully satisfied in the clean level, often having to go over the same carpet a number of times. Then, I was given this clean view upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It easily picks up the dirt and pet hair from any floor (I used it on both my carpet floors and hardwood) without having to go over the area multiple times. Also, it seems to pick up more than other vacuums. The attached picture is how much it picked up from a single 8x8 carpet AFTER I went over it with my old vacuum first! The detachable hose includes two easy to use and store attachments that work well for couches and corners that the main unit can't reach. I have two cats, so being able to clean a couch is crucial for me. So far I'm very pleased with this vacuum and get to enjoy a much cleaner home!

It's powerful suction helps pick up the dust in the corner of the hardwood, the dog hair off the carpet and the cheerios in the kitchen. It also moves seamlessly through the thick carpet in the basement. The wand is easy to remove from the vacuum to get the corners and along the edges of the room and the entire base comes off the rolling wheels to easily vacuum the stairs. The large dustbin easily comes off for emptying after you are through with cleaning. Though the vacuum itself is a bit larger and heavier than some other vacuums, it is still manageable, and the high performance and versatility make it worthwhile.
