Such an upgrade from my old Shark! It works on my hardwood and rugs equally well. I also like all of the accessories, especially for cleaning my couch. If I have one complaint, it's that the vacuum is a little heavy. But otherwise, it's fantastic!

Straight out of the box it showed awesome power at attacking dirt and dog hair on hard surfaces and carpet. The vacuum is sleek and easy to roll, and my favorite feature was how the body swivels unlike any I have seen before which made maneuvering around obstacles easy-peasy! My ten year-old handled it well and commented on how simple it made his chores. The attachments are useful and conveniently stored on the sides. I did run into a minor issue with area rugs that were not secured to the floor, as the rollers would stop turning until the vacuum was turned off and on again. It also is significantly heavier than the cordless stick vacuums I am accustomed to. I struggled to carry it up a flight of stairs, though it would be just fine for one-level usage. Overall, this vacuum proved mighty enough for my kid and animal-filled household and will be a great addition to our cleaning routine!

This new vacuum could not have come at a better time. Our old vacuum was on its last leg and I was in the market for a new one. We have 7 kids, ages 15 down to 1 so it's not uncommon for us to vacuum 2-3 times in a day. In my search for a replacement, I was excited to see that the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off checked off ALL of my boxes. Here's a few of my most loved features.. *For a full sized vacuum, this one is on the lighter side. It's sturdy and light enough my kids can use it. *I love the HEPA filter. We try to keep the house as tidy as possible (it's definitely lived in, but clean). I feel good knowing it's filtering airborne allergens so my family can't breathe easier. *The dirt collection canister empties easily with one hand so no extra messes to clean up. *The cord is longer than many of our past vacuums which makes cleaning from room to room much simpler. *With 4 girls in the house, we are always shedding our long hair. This vacuum has a no-tangle roller brush so we don't have to worry about the brush getting locked up with hair. *The filters are washable, which makes this vacuum more cost efficient for our large family. *We use this vacuum literally in every room in our home. Kitchen, bedrooms, dining room and even the bathroom! It works great with a toggle from carpet to hard floor! This is definitely one of the best vacuums we've owned over the years.

His favorite activity? Running full speed up and down the stairs. He's a mix of several breeds, which means he sheds—a lot. Black hair everywhere. So this vacuum really came at the perfect time. First impression: putting it together was super easy and intuitive. I barely needed the instructions. Compared to my old vacuum, this one feels light to medium in weight, which I appreciate. It's compact enough to store in a hallway closet or tuck into a corner of the room without being in the way. What surprised me most was how powerful it is. I love that you can choose to use the roller brush or not, depending on what you're cleaning. I didn't fully realize how well it was working until I looked at the container—and wow. It picked up more dog hair in less time than my previous vacuum ever did. Since getting it, I've used it throughout the entire house: area rugs, carpeted stairs, hardwood floors. The upholstery tools have been a lifesaver too, especially for cleaning the steps and getting all the extra dog hair and debris off the furniture. Overall, I'm really happy with this vacuum. I was both deeply impressed and honestly disgusted by the amount of dust, debris, and cat fur this powerful vacuum pulled up. Seeing it swirl around the clear canister was both horrifying and incredibly satisfying. I thought I was doing a decent job keeping my floors clean, but this vacuum exposed the truth. After just one use, my home felt cleaner and I felt motivated to vacuum more often. I started vacuuming more thoroughly to see how much dirt it could catch: a lot. A few drawbacks to note. It's definitely heavy, so carrying it up and down stairs isn't effortless. Also, I found the cord got in the way more than I'd like, and I really missed having a retractable cord—it's a small thing, but makes a big difference when you're cleaning frequently. First off, it looks great and feels super sturdy. The design is clean and modern, and I really liked how easy it was to figure everything out right away. The detachable lift-off pod is a cool feature that makes it really convenient for quick cleanups or getting into harder-to-reach spots. As far as performance goes, this vacuum is a beast—in the best way. I've got two dogs who shed a lot, and it picked up all the pet hair without needing to go over the same spot a bunch of times. I used it on hardwood, linoleum, and a few area rugs, and it crushed it on every surface. There are a bunch of suction settings too, which is awesome for switching between floor types or mess levels. One of my favorite features has to be the extended-reach handle. Being able to use it to get into corners, under furniture, or up high without needing extra attachments made cleaning so much easier. I also love that it's bagless—the canister is super easy to empty with one hand, which is always a plus. It's a little on the heavier side, so it might not be ideal for someone who needs something super lightweight. And while some folks prefer cordless, I actually like that it's corded because the power is just way better and I don't have to worry about charging it. All in all, this vacuum has definitely earned a spot in my cleaning routine!

I never realized how much my old vacuum wasn't picking up until I used this one for the first time. It was disturbing how much dust and junk I had on my floors. YIKES. I love that my house feels extra clean when I use this vacuum. I love the different settings for carpet or hard floor making it convenient to clean my whole house with the one vacuum. My favorite part of this vacuum is the fact that my 4 year old can even use it efficiently. She loves to help clean and this vacuum is light weight and doesn't lift up the front end when the handle leans far back. The size is perfect so it's easy to store. I would highly recommend this upright vacuum to anyone.

I am impressed with the suction on this vacuum and especially its ability to trap hair without clogging the vacuum. I typically vacuum our house once a week in low traffic areas and I couldn't believe how much more this vacuum picked up then my older one. The lift off feature makes it easier to carry around when using the extension for higher to reach places or the stairs. I was also happy with the feature that allows the brush to stop spinning for when I transition to laminate floors. When the job is done emptying it out and getting it cleaned up is a breeze. My complaint is that the extra power brush spins really fast which is great and seems powerful but if you put much pressure on it at all it stops spinning. Overall satisfied with the performance of this vacuum.

We have had many upright vacuums before but this one is great. It is very light weight and easy to maneuver. The lift off feature has been great for my stairs. I always struggled when I had to lug the entire vacuum up and down the stairs but the lift off solves that problem. Even though the vacuum is light it has great suction. We have a 75lb German shepherd that is actively shedding for spring and it handles her hair no problem. The brush/crevice tool has been a game changer for cleaning her crate and getting into all the small spaces. I've also used it on all my baseboards and they look great! My 14 and 12 year old boys help with the vacuuming each week and also really enjoy using it. They love the easy transition from carpet to hardwood as our flooring changes frequently. It's been really wonderful to have it and we have been nothing but impressed.

We received this vacuum cleaner the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, we have been impressed with the ease of use and ability to clean thoroughly with this vacuum. compared to other models, we also enjoy the look and design. We are very impressed with cleaning power, in particular, the ability to suck up pet hair. We have used this on carpet and hardwood floor alike with similar results on both. We appreciated the ability to use the nozzle on our stairs, where we also have issue with excessive cat hair. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a vacuum, particularly if they have indoor pets.
