We have children ages 2 and 4 and a golden retriever so we put a vacuum through its paces on a daily basis. The Bissell clean view max lift off lives up to its name. Setup was super easy, and my preschooler figured out how to turn it on and use the upholstery attachment by himself. Despite being lighter and quieter than our former vacuum (which I thought I loved) it gets so much more off of our floors with less time and effort. I vacuumed a rug with our old vacuum, figured it was just showing some wear in certain areas, and then vacuumed it again with the Bissell. The rug was a different shade once I finished, and the canister was 1/3 full of dirt that the old vacuum missed. It does equally well on hard floors with tiny crumbs as it does on carpet with dog fur. The upholstery cleaner is also very helpful and did great on our couch. My only slight quibble is the attachments fall off their storage pegs fairly easily when vacuuming but that's not a big deal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of the vacuum was that it was a great, heavy-duty vacuum for a deep clean. Because it is a fairly large type of vacuum, it looks fairly sleek and compact, considering its suction power. What did you think of the cleaning power? What types of messes did it help you tackle? We used the vacuum to clean up after our young kids finished dinner, played in the living room, and in the mud room (which typically gets pretty messy). This is a combination of hardwood and rugged surfaces. We plan on using it upstairs in our fully carpeted rooms, but have not had a chance to bring it up yet. This vacuum is designed for mess cleanup. It is a bit heavy and has a lot of great parts that we can use for different types of surfaces or vacuuming needs. The one thing that I wish it had was a wet vac option - however, I understand that it would require a different component. Overall, we are very happy with this vacuum cleaner, especially because it can be used on our couches, floors, rugs, and carpets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a mom of three young kids and two dogs. Having a vacuum that can take on all the messes of my household is a top priority. I've used this vacuum on four different surfaces and it's passed the test: 1) carpet - this is where I found it most effective, which is definitely a priority. 2) rug - I was very impressed in how much I found in the vacuum canister after vacuuming my medium pile rug 3) wood and floor - while it passed the test and did an effective job cleaning a mess of crumbs in my pantry, I did notice some larger chunks would get grabbed by the brush roller but then shot out the back of the vacuum, even on the hard floor setting. There could be some improvement in this area. 4) curtains/blinds - this was my favorite part! The handle of the vacuum disconnects to reveal the wand! I used the attachment to clean my Roman blinds and they look amazing! My one complaint in this area is the wand is a bit too long and can be unruly, whereas the hose is a little too short to reach the top without some effort The vacuum "feel" is nice, not to heavy but feels rugged. The brush head could be a tad larger to cover more space, and the bin could also be larger for longer runs. I do really love that it has a very reasonable operating volume - it's far quieter than most vacuums I have used, even stick vacuums. Lastly, not a deal breaker, but I wish the power button and the carpet/wood floor button were swapped. It feels more intuitive to have the power on the handle, and I suspect my husband won't notice that he needs to switch the carpet/wood button as he moves between different surfaces because it's just not in a natural line of sight. These are nuances but overall I am very glad to have this vacuum - it's very versatile, easy to use, and effective.

I have used other vacuums in the past that work for bare and carpeted floors so I appreciate the adjustment being on the top handle rather than having to bend down each time to adjust as I move from carpet to tile in my house. I thought the handle detached very easily to quickly switch from floor to stick for those hard to reach places. My only downside is it wasn't the most powerful vacuum I have ever used, but definitely up there. I received this product as part of Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you need a powerful vacuum, this is it! We are a household with kids and a dog and they were no match for the Cleanview Max Lift-Off. The design is simple and easy to use/ set up. We have mostly wood floors with area rugs. The vacuum easily switched between the two types of flooring and needed just one pass to collect all the dirt and dog hair in its path. While it is heavier than other vacuums I have used, I really appreciated that the tools were easy to use on our furniture and it cut my cleaning time substantially.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with this vacuum, and the thing at the top of my list of what I liked is the suction power. I’m not sure I’ve used a household vacuum that gets more dirt, dust, and lint out of the carpet. It got dirt out of brand new carpet that had just been laid (and already vacuumed twice), and got more out of carpet I had just vacuumed with my previous vacuum which I have loved. If you’re looking for power, this one has it! Other things I liked: the suction power and carpet height control are located at the top of the vacuum and can easily be changed by sliding it with your finger. I like that it has a swivel head that can go around corners more easily, and the turbo brush attachment was really impressive; it also has the best suction I’ve ever seen in a brush attachment. The crevice tool attachment conveniently changes between the hard edge and brush edge as well. I appreciated how easy it was to unhook the hose to hook on attachments as well as to remove the brush roller component to use it on the stairs. It worked smoothly on carpet as well as hardwood. The biggest con of this vacuum for me is the cord length. It’s significantly shorter than my previous vacuum so it required me to use different outlets and change it more frequently since I couldn’t reach areas I usually can. It’s also a little bit louder (or perhaps just a different kind of loud) than other vacuums I’ve used. And while I didn’t change the filter yet, the instructions say to let it dry for 24 hours before reinstalling, and that seems like a long time to wait and not use the vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the several weeks I've used the CleanView® Max Lift-Off, I've really come to appreciate it. I have carpet, tile, hardwood, and rugs all on my main floor, so it is wonderful to be able to adjust the suction with just my thumb while vacuuming! I love that I can just switch off the beater bar to use the hose. In contrast with my previous vacuum, this one has the hose permanently attached so that I can't forget to grab it or misplace it (or find it being used by my children as an imaginary elephant trunk). The crevice tool attachment is brilliant- I can slide the brush cover down with one hand while vacuuming to get both the top of the baseboards with the brush and then the carpet line without the brush before I have to move the vacuum. The lift off feature is good for stairs and upholstery. Perhaps it's just because it's a new, clean vacuum, but the suction seems super strong and effective! The attached picture of the dust canister was after vacuuming just two kid bedrooms that had even been vacuumed that week with our old vacuum! The only concern I have had is that when the anti- wrap technology works fairly well to keep the beater bar free of hair, we still find that the bar needs cleared periodically. Unfortunately the hand- held roller bar catches hair pretty easily. Overall, it seems like a great vacuum with nice accessories for a reasonable price.

However, with two dogs, a toddler, and carpeted bedrooms, I guess the cordless vacuum wasn't cutting it. I have been amazed (and disgusted?) with how much DIRT AND DUST this vacuum has sucked up. Even after I run the Dyson over the area rugs, I can go back with the Bissell and it will get a ton of dirt. It's not as easy to maneuver (like a stick vacuum is) but what it lacks there, it makes up for in power. I used to hate having to plug a vacuum in, but now I see that it's worth it!

We have 3 cats, 1 dog and 1 toddler, and it picks up after them very well (hair, dirt, crumbs, etc). We have carpet and tile floors, and the suction works great on both types of flooring. It has not clogged up and is easy to empty and clean. The “lift off” feature is my favorite part of this vacuum, allowing me to more efficiently vacuum the stairs without having to lug a heavy vacuum up each step. I hated vacuuming my stairs but this makes it so much easier. I have only used this vacuum for a couple weeks, so I’m not sure about its overall durability and lifespan. However, based on how it is performing so far, I would definitely recommend this vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cleanview max Liftoff is a great vacuum cleaner. It's really easy to use and the user manual was easy to understand so I could get started cleaning. I just moved into a new house and this vacuum made cleaning a breeze. The length of the cord was handy for getting up the stairs and it was easy to maneuver on the stairs too with the wand. I've used this vacuum on carpet, tile, and vinyl flooring. I found it the most convenient to use on carpet but it worked well on all surfaces. I'm giving it four stars and not 5 because it's not much different from other vacuums that I've used the last couple of years, but perhaps the it will last a lot longer than other brands I've used, so I'm excited to keep using it.
