My first impression was that the vacuum was very light; I didn't know how well it would perform. The wobbly rotating took some getting used to, but I like its functionality. I cleaned leftover kinetic sand from a rug in the living room and leftover crumbs from the hardwood floor in our dining room. It worked great! I was impressed with everything it picked up. I like the low-profile head that lets you easily maneuver under tables and chairs. I like the genius lift-off tank portion that makes it even lighter for vacuuming stairs and high areas. That was probably my favorite feature; it's so versatile. Emptying the canister was pretty easy. I wish it had hands-free emptying, but it's not a deal breaker. I liked how simple this vacuum was; it had features that were easy to use, and I didn't need to read the whole owner's manual to figure it out. It was very intuitive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy using this CleanView® Max Lift-Off vacuum! I received it from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. This vacuum is packed with so many features it is an all in one. The suction power is great and it has an easy to use button to adjust for the type of surface you are cleaning. I love that all tye buttons are up high so you dohave to bend over or search for them. It even allows you to turn the roller on and off while maintaining suction. I love this! I have rugs/mats that are high pile and they would get sucked up in other vacuums. NOT with this one! Even without the roller on it got my rugs clean. I used this on my carpets and hardwood floors. It did great on both. The detachable hose allowed me to get into corners and clean my baseboards as well. If you are on the fence with this product I say go for it. It is just so easy to use and has a washable filter. I cannot say enough good things about this product.

It's lightweight, sleek, and well designed. The lift off feature is my favorite feature. It is great for vacuuming stairs, making it easier to carry up and down the stairs. It transitions great from carpet to hardwood, I used it on both surfaces and with the switch of a button it transitions wonderfully. The clear view filter is amazing, I love being able to see all the work the vacuum is doing and I can easily tell when the filter needs to be cleaned. This vacuum has great cleaning power and I am very pleased with it! The only con of this vacuum is having to wind up the cord, I wish it had a retractable cord, other than that, a great vacuum that does a wonderful job cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can understand why this vacuum is called CleanView® Max Lift-Off. It lifted off all of my surfaces however the most impressive by far was its performance on my ever shedding wool rug. I have had this rug professionally cleaned, it has been vacuumed more times that I can recall and I have not seen such a full canister after vacuuming it in over a decade. So gratifying! It maneuvered well however it is certainly heavy. I also wish it was a bit more intuitive in terms of being able to tilt off of the upright stance when vacuuming but it is also great that it stays firmly upright when standing alone. It did well with crumbs in the kitchen the hose was excellent for high chair clean up as an upright it was able to reach underneath the table. It did not manage toddler craft scraps as well off the hardwood but did off of the rug. It was above all sturdy and strong and while it was amazing on carpet I think it was also useful on hardwood/tile. Overall, I was thrilled to receive this vacuum through Stellar Product testing panel- it will be a workhorse that will hopefully be with our family for a long time.

We have children ages 2 and 4 and a golden retriever so we put a vacuum through its paces on a daily basis. The Bissell clean view max lift off lives up to its name. Setup was super easy, and my preschooler figured out how to turn it on and use the upholstery attachment by himself. Despite being lighter and quieter than our former vacuum (which I thought I loved) it gets so much more off of our floors with less time and effort. I vacuumed a rug with our old vacuum, figured it was just showing some wear in certain areas, and then vacuumed it again with the Bissell. The rug was a different shade once I finished, and the canister was 1/3 full of dirt that the old vacuum missed. It does equally well on hard floors with tiny crumbs as it does on carpet with dog fur. The upholstery cleaner is also very helpful and did great on our couch. My only slight quibble is the attachments fall off their storage pegs fairly easily when vacuuming but that's not a big deal.

It fits easily in small spaces while still being able to pick up hidden dust and debris. One feature I particularly appreciate is its ability to pick up debris just outside its direct path. It can be used as a handheld cleaner for stairs and upholstery, and with both carpet, area rugs and hardwood floors in my home, I find it convenient to adjust the settings from bare floor to high carpet and everything in between. My only downside is its weight; while it's small, it does have a bit more heft than I'm accustomed to. Overall, I would highly recommend it. I received the CleanView Max Lift-Off through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but I can genuinely say I would buy it myself.

However, with two dogs, a toddler, and carpeted bedrooms, I guess the cordless vacuum wasn't cutting it. I have been amazed (and disgusted?) with how much DIRT AND DUST this vacuum has sucked up. Even after I run the Dyson over the area rugs, I can go back with the Bissell and it will get a ton of dirt. It's not as easy to maneuver (like a stick vacuum is) but what it lacks there, it makes up for in power. I used to hate having to plug a vacuum in, but now I see that it's worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this upright vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I'm so grateful. I love the power and mobility it has. I never realized how much my old vacuum wasn't picking up until I used this one for the first time. It was disturbing how much dust and junk I had on my floors. YIKES. I love that my house feels extra clean when I use this vacuum. I love the different settings for carpet or hard floor making it convenient to clean my whole house with the one vacuum. My favorite part of this vacuum is the fact that my 4 year old can even use it efficiently. She loves to help clean and this vacuum is light weight and doesn't lift up the front end when the handle leans far back. The size is perfect so it's easy to store. I would highly recommend this upright vacuum to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I definitely felt my age when Stellar Product Testing Panel provided me with this upright vacuum and I was excited! I pulled it out of the box and was able to assemble it very quickly and easily. I started with it on the carpet in my master bedroom. We have fairly new carpets and we vacuum regularly but the cat spends most of his time in our room. I figured we'd have the most luck with pet hair there. Boy, was I right - and shocked! The canister was full after vacuuming JUST ONE ROOM! I could not believe it. Clearly the suction power on this thing is strong. I emptied the canister and then moved on to my kids rooms. After their three carpeted bedrooms, the landing and the stairs, the canister was full so I emptied it again. I decided to keep going and vacuumed the downstairs. We have three large area rugs (living room, dining, and family room). I also pushed it along the hardwood floors in the kitchen and between the spaces where the rugs don't touch and of course had to empty the canister a third time. While the upstairs was mostly dust and cat/dog fur, the downstairs floors had crumbs from kids, dirt tracked in from outside, and general messes from animals and a family of six. I'd say the power on this vacuum could handle our family! As far as looks and design, it seemed a little small. The canister had to be emptied three times to do my whole house (approximately 3000 sqft.) I like that it is more compact than my usual vacuum; however, I would love to be able to vacuum my whole house without having to stop and empty so often!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off upright vacuum to test and keep thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was intrigued by and looking forward to using the lift off feature that allows you to detach the canister and hose from the base. There are a lot of features I appreciate about the Max Lift-Off and a few that could use some improvements. First off, the vacuum looks nice and although it isn't as lightweight as I anticipated it would be, it is compact. It also has an ample length cord in comparison to my previous vacuums. There are a few parts to assemble right out of the box and was pretty simple. I was a bit confused on which end of the hose went in which spot but it didn't take too much effort to figure it out. The button has an option for off, power on with two bars for carpet cleaning and power on with one bar for hard surfaces. I kept looking for a lever release but I referenced the instructions and it is just a simple step on the base and pulling back with the handle to get started. My least favorite part of the vacuum is in full upright vacuum mode. The only way I can think to describe it is the way the head attaches to the base makes maneuvering the vacuum feel kind of wobbly. I kept second guessing that I had attached the lift off to the base correctly but I am pretty confident I have. With most pieces being plastic, I worry about the durability of the unit after lifting off and reattaching it multiple times. At first I also thought the rollers weren't working but it has to be in a recline position for them to start moving. As far as my top features, I would say towards the top of the list is the strong suction and the canister that eliminates the need to buy vacuum bags. It removed a lot of dirt, debris and hair from my living room carpet. Seeing into the canister was equally cool and gross that that was on our floor. My favorite highlight of the CleanView though is the lift off feature with convenient attachments including the turbo brush and edge tool that with a quick slide down turns into a brush. I was so excited to use it the first time that I hadn't read the part of the instructions that noted that the best way to use it is to connect the attachments directly to the hose instead of the wand. Once I did that, it did limit if I was reaching up high, but I enjoyed using the attachments even more as the hose was way more flexible than the wand. Overall I really like using this CleanView Max Lift-Off and even my kids don't mind having to clean up if it means they can use our cool new Bissell vacuum.
