I have two small children, so I need something that quickly and easily handles hardwood floors, carpet, bathroom floors- and this has been it! I have never had such an easy-to-use vacuum that is quick to empty and also simple to use the handheld attachments. I love this vacuum for the quick, day to day moments and also for the deep cleans on baseboards and ceiling fans. Would recommend this in a heartbeat to all the other busy moms!

It feels well-built, yet it’s lightweight enough to carry around easily, which made cleaning multiple areas of my home much more manageable. The design is modern and intuitive, and I appreciated how straightforward it was to set up and use right out of the box. The suction power is no joke. It picked up everything in its path. In fact, it almost felt too strong at times, especially when I tried to clean lightweight floor mats, which tended to get pulled into the vacuum. Still, I’d rather deal with strong suction than not enough. I used it on vinyl flooring, carpet, and even those pesky floor mats. It transitioned easily between surfaces without needing much adjustment, and it performed well across the board. My favorite feature by far was the detachable handheld vacuum tool. It made getting into tight spaces like corners, stairs, and around furniture much easier. I found myself reaching for it frequently for quick clean-ups. Overall, this vacuum is a solid choice if you’re looking for something powerful, portable, and versatile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the pleasure of testing the CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum. Because I have a dog and cat that are both indoor, & also messy teenagers, I was definitely needing something to help with messes without spending a ton of time. This vacuum is the answer I've been looking for. First off, I absolutely love so many features about this vacuum. It has 2 different brushes that can be attached to the wand to tackle different messes. Having pets and kids, I thought it was genius to add these 2 tools to the vacuum. And they have a tool storage on both sides of the vacuum to store the brushes. The wand can be released with the click of a button - the same goes for the XL dirt tank, which is another thing I love. It's so easy to click a button to release the tank, empty the trash, then just click it right back on. The wand is great for those little quick messes that happen throughout the day too. My absolute favorite feature about this would be the swivel steering. The vacuum goes in literally any corner and makes cleaning those hard to reach places a breeze. You can also switch between plush carpet or hardwood flooring with the click of a button. I absolutely cannot recommend this vacuum enough. There's so many great things about it, but the best thing I've discovered since using it is that my son's allergies are nowhere near as bad as they were prior to using it. All in all, I firmly believe every household should own one, especially if you have inside pets or children. I would give this 10 stars if I could. The vacuum itself is light weight and pretty slim so easy to store/move around. I like the black with a small amount of blue. I do wish there was a light so you could see the dirt better while using. The 2 accessories fit nicely on the vacuum, which is my favorite feature. So easy and now I won't lose the parts which is something I typically do. The extra parts are perfect for blinds, fans, and furniture. I wouldn't say the cleaning power is great for heavy duty messes but for everyday cleaning, I love it. We have a 2-year-old who loves making messes, a cockapoo, and a long haired cat so we vacuum a lot and this does a great job. Dirt, kinetic sand (ughhh), pet hair, kitty litter, and crumbs is the majority of what we've been cleaning on hardwood floors and area rugs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off vacuum is a powerful machine!! The vacuum does have some bulk and weight to it, so initially, I was a little overwhelmed by the size for our small home; however, the cleaning power with our always shedding short haired dog made up for it!! The colors (black and minimal accent blue) are sleek, and it appears modern in design which doesn’t make it stand out if left out of the storage room. Despite the larger size of the vacuum, the functionality is very user friendly and easy to use. I appreciated the options for carpet heights as we have various carpet/rug thicknesses throughout our home, as well as the option to quickly flip the switch for brush off for hardwood/tile floors and brush on for carpet. We have a rug that we have used multiple vacuums on, and our dog’s hair was always left behind. I attributed it to the rug’s material holding on to the dog hair, but I tried the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off vacuum on the rug and I couldn’t believe my eyes – the vacuum canister filled up about halfway and there was not a single hair found left over on the rug!! Additionally, after vacuuming a high traffic rug with one vacuum that we owned and I thought was very powerful, the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off vacuum filled up about 1/3 of the canister! The canister is large too and allows you to continue vacuuming in multiple rooms or in big messes without having to empty it frequently. I also appreciate that the canister empties from the bottom, preventing a lot of dust and dander to release in the air. It also worked great on our hardwood floors and did not create any kick back from behind. It wheels around smoothly, and the swivel feature works well. I love that there is a lift off feature of the vacuum where you can lift it off the floor brush attachment to make it lighter and easier for portable cleaning with the hose attachment. The cord is very long which allows you to move around a large room without having to unplug the cord and move it to another outlet. One nuance we found is that the cord is connected very low on the vacuum which requires you to have to hold the cord while vacuuming, unless it is partly wrapped around the cord hook; it would be great if the cord was connected a little higher up on the vacuum to prevent wear and tear. The base of the brush is higher than other vacuums, which does make it a little difficult to fit under couches and other cabinets/shelves, but this also means the brush is larger and probably is what makes it so effective on carpet and rugs! The storage spots for the hose attachments directly ON the vacuum are also amazing – there is nothing I hate more than having to run back and grab different attachments while vacuuming! No one wants to wear a tool belt when you are cleaning 😊 Overall, I was incredibly impressed by the effectiveness of the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off vacuum – it worked SO WELL at picking up our dog’s hair and quickly! You can feel the suction power when using it and it is satisfying! I would recommend this to anyone with heavy shedding pets!

Not only was it easy to assemble (less than five minutes), and easy to maneuver (my 6-year-old can help vacuum), it has great power! After vacuuming with my old vacuum first, I then used the Max Lift-Off and the canister was full! The attachments also work great on my furniture. The size is also perfect - not to bulky, and easy to store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to try out this upright vacuum as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel! I have a home daycare with 12 small children,as well as a large dog so you can imagine how often I have to vacuum. At first I was honestly a little skeptical that it would make any difference. We currently use a name brand stick vacuum and I've always liked the cordless and light nature of it. Well, this upright vacuum blew me out of the water! I started by just vacuuming my living room area rug and was horrified at how much it picked up. I proceeded to vacuum it TWO more times, emptying out the bin after each run, and it continued to pick up so much dirt and debris. I had no idea the stick vacuum was just picking up what was on the surface. This thing cleans DEEP. I then proceeded to lift off the barrel of it and use the attachments to clean inside my couches and along the edges of the baseboard- so handy! Finally, I went to work on our LVP floor and was again, very impressed. This vacuum does such a better job at picking up larger pieces such as cereal or pebbles. While having to work around the cord is a bit cumbersome compared to a cordless vacuum, the benefits far outweigh the cons and this is a tool I am definitely pleased to have in my cleaning closet!

Pros- This vacuum is very easy to put together. It is very light weight, which is great for moving it from different levels. This is easy to empty. Main cons are that due to it being light weight it just feels cheaply made, feels like it will break very easily. Suction is mediocre, I feel like I need to go over the area 3 times to get all the hair up.

I thought my house was really clean so I was shocked when I used this vacuum the first time. I couldn't believe how much dirt and dog hair was in the cannister. It is light and easy to use but has amazing suction. It worked great on hardwood, low pile, and regular pile carpet. I would highly recommend the Max Lift-Off to anyone who has pets or kids!

So much so, that when I got this vacuum, my husband’s first comment was, “Another vacuum!?” Yes, another vacuum. What can I say? I love a tidy home. Overall, I like the Bissel Clean View Max vacuum. When I took the vacuum out of the box, my first thoughts were that it was very easy to assemble, the materials were sleek and lightweight and I liked the color scheme. I use the vacuum throughout my house on tile, carpets in bedrooms and throw rugs. I use it multiple times a day, after meals in my kitchen, since I have young kids that tend to make large messes during meals. It’s convenient and quick and I find that it’s way more effective and easier than using a broom. The thing I appreciate most about this vacuum is the suction power. It’s strong and effective and the vacuum makes satisfying lines and markings in the carpet. I love that! Plus, there’s nothing better than seeing your progress in the collection chamber. I also like that it has an option for suction strength based on your carpet pile and length. It has a button to turn the roller brush on and off depending on the surface you’re working on. This was especially helpful for my front door mat that is usually nearly impossible vacuum without the vacuum getting stuck. This was not the case with the Bissel Clean View Max Lift Off. The roller brush is great! I can’t explain it, but things don’t tend to get caught up in it like other roller brushes. Even my hair wasn’t wrapped around and stuck to it like other vacuums. It comes with 2 attachments that I haven’t tried yet, but plan on using when I vacuum out my car next. I do like that each attachment has a holder on either side of the vacuum. The only thing I’ll mention that I didn’t love was that it felt heavy to push across my surfaces. On my tile, although it was smooth to navigate, it still felt a little heavy. On my carpeted areas, it was noticeably heavier and tougher to direct across tighter areas. I can only assume this is due to the stronger suction power which I am willing to tolerate because it seems to pick up more than my other vacuums did. There is one thing I missed on this vacuum that honestly I didn’t know I appreciated on my prior ones: a light on the front. I guess I never realized how much I relied on a light to make sure I didn’t miss a crumb, but I missed having one with this model. Overall, I’d recommend this vacuum and model specifically for the suction power and effectiveness. If you want a lightweight vacuum, this isn’t the one for you.
