I have used other vacuums in the past that work for bare and carpeted floors so I appreciate the adjustment being on the top handle rather than having to bend down each time to adjust as I move from carpet to tile in my house. I thought the handle detached very easily to quickly switch from floor to stick for those hard to reach places. My only downside is it wasn't the most powerful vacuum I have ever used, but definitely up there. I received this product as part of Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I did think the canister was a little large, but I do have a dog and carpet areas to vacuum so it would hold a lot. When using the vacuum, I was immediately impressed with the strong suction power. Having little kids and a dog, it definitely collected a lot more than my previous vacuum. I vacuumed on carpet and hardwood surfaces. The best part was how easy and smooth it was going around and under furniture. It made vacuuming effortlessly!

I think it is a great everyday use vacuum. I have about 60% carpet and 40% hard floor in my house. I also have 2 dogs who shed and a two year old toddler so I needed something good! When unpacking this vacuum it was so easy to put together and has a nice design to it. It's smaller than my previous vacuum which made it a lot easier to maneuver around. I have some wrist and neck problems so lugging around a big heavy vacuum is difficult for me. This one is light weight and is so easy to control. The lift off feature was great too! Dog hair seems to collect in the cracks between our carpet and the wall so I like to use the skinny attachment and go around and vacuum the cracks. The lift off feature made it very easy to do this because I could detach it from the bottom roller part and not have to carry it all around. The suction power is really good on this too and filled up with dog hair after vacuuming just one room. Who knew there was so much dog hair my old vacuum was missing!! I also really like how you can turn off the rollers because the hard flooring we have states not to use rollers on it. This feature makes it so easy to transition from carpet to hard floors. Overall, I am very pleased with this vacuum and would recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With 3 school aged children, a dog, 2 cats, and a couple of guinnea pigs, my mostly hardwood 19th century house is always dirty with kid messes and animal hair. As my current vacuum is not effective in removing these messes, I was very happy to receive this vacuum from Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. First impressions are it's very comfortable to use and push around on carpet, large area rugs, and hard floor surfaces. I have wide gaps in between my old wood floors and I was ecstatic the hose attachment with crevice tool sucked up most of what has settled in there with one pass. The comfortable grip handle, quite motor, and swivel base are also appreciated and the hose attachment being connected to the handle for more ergonomic and precise vacuuming, like under furniture and along baseboards, is really helpful. The HEPA filter and dirt canister are each easy to remove as well. Just a small thing, but a nice touch, is the writing on the handle oriented toward the user when vacuuming to choose bare floor or carpeting. A few drawbacks are vacuum foot with the beater needed many passes over hard floors that had debris like dried leaves and grass (brought in by pets and kids) so I would only use the hose attachment for those types of messes. Speaking of kids, my 9 and 11 year olds assembled the vacuum out of the box in about 5 minutes! All in all, a great easy to use vacuum that I'm looking forward to using regularly.

The design makes it easy to use and carry around. I was able to clean everything from hard floors, carpet, up and down stairs, around trim and windows, and even my couches with ease. Tackled pet hair from 2 German shepherds shedding for the spring with no problem! The only thing I'm not a fan of is the manual roll up cord but wouldn't take it back just for that! My favorite feature of the vacuum is the stick handle unsnaps to be able to quickly switch from floor vacuum to doing trim and corners and furniture. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the CleanView® Max Lift-Off upright vacuum. This product came to me at the perfect time as we just threw out our old one. We have regular short carpet in our bedrooms and hardwood in the common spaces. The vacuum does a decent job lifting dog fur from the carpet, but I notice it does take a couple passes to pick up slightly larger items such as dog toy fluff. It also does not get very close to corners/edges. This is mitigated by using the wand. On the hardwood it seems to have a better range in sucking up crumbs/fur from edges and under it. I love that it offers an option to stop the rollers and that when it gets to the upright position it automatically stops the rollers. The wand release is very helpful on cutting out the middle man in having to put on attachments. This product came new, so there is a bad plastic smell from it currently, I am hoping that goes away in time. The swivel of the vacuum is helpful in navigating, but this vacuum does seem heavier than your average one. My pictures are after one vacuum pass through each of our rooms. It does a good job! This did a good job at cleaning up after my dog and two young children. I do wish that the hose would be slightly longer, seems too short and also the canister is not super easy at emptying but for the price point it cleaned up hair and mess with ease. I used it on both carpet and hardwood and the suction was great but this is not a light product, was hard to push around to the different rooms. This new vacuum could not have come at a better time. Our old vacuum was on its last leg and I was in the market for a new one. We have 7 kids, ages 15 down to 1 so it's not uncommon for us to vacuum 2-3 times in a day. In my search for a replacement, I was excited to see that the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off checked off ALL of my boxes. Here's a few of my most loved features.. *For a full sized vacuum, this one is on the lighter side. It's sturdy and light enough my kids can use it. *I love the HEPA filter. We try to keep the house as tidy as possible (it's definitely lived in, but clean). I feel good knowing it's filtering airborne allergens so my family can't breathe easier. *The dirt collection canister empties easily with one hand so no extra messes to clean up. *The cord is longer than many of our past vacuums which makes cleaning from room to room much simpler. *With 4 girls in the house, we are always shedding our long hair. This vacuum has a no-tangle roller brush so we don't have to worry about the brush getting locked up with hair. *The filters are washable, which makes this vacuum more cost efficient for our large family. *We use this vacuum literally in every room in our home. Kitchen, bedrooms, dining room and even the bathroom! It works great with a toggle from carpet to hard floor! This is definitely one of the best vacuums we've owned over the years.

I have two large German shepherds who are inside 90% of the time so my home is covered in dog hair. I really put this thing to the test! I ran it immediately after running my current vacuum on my bedroom carpet where the dogs sleep, my tile floor, hardwood floor, area rugs and LVP. I was shocked how full that canister was after one session! I will say with the suction on max on plush carpet with the brushes on full it was a bit of a work out but it was worth it for that deep clean! I love that the suction, brush (on or off), and type of flooring can all be adjusted so it's gentle on my tile and hardwoods but tough on my carpets for that deep clean! It was easy to maneuver and pivot. The machine itself is lightweight, the workout comes when you have it on full suction on plush carpets. Overall this is a must have for pet owners!!
