[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for the Bissell ClenView Max Lift-Off vacuum that I received through the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my unbiased review. We are a cordless vac family and I've been considering a corded unit for deeper cleaning anyway, so this was a great opportunity. Unfortunately, I did not find this vacuum to be satisfactory to my needs. Assembly was a breeze- everything clicked together perfectly, and I do like that the unit has designated storage for the attachments. I used the vacuum on shaggy carpet, hardwood flooring, and shelves/ decor. The vacuum appears rather compact at first look which is great, but in use I found it to be clunky and a surprisingly heavy drag on carpet. The handle moved a little with every pass which made it feel cheap, and it took extra effort to turn/ reposition. When using the detachable hose for stairs, the unit kept falling over which caused a plastic tab to break off (pictured). Unfortunately the dealbreaker came when I ran my cordless vac over the carpet I had just vacuumed with the Bissell CleanView and it picked up a shocking amount of dust and debris.

It's small enough to fit into tight spaces and is very easy to maneuver. It's a bit heavier than I would expect looking at it, but nothing that makes it too hard to use. The size makes it easy to get in and out of the closet and use it more often. Our house is a mix of tile, rugs, and carpet, and it works well on all of them. It's easy to switch the spinning brush off when on tile and on for the carpet. So far, it hasn't wrapped up all the hair like so many vacuums do! Overall, I'm very impressed with this vacuum!

Throughout my use of this vacuum cleaner, I was impressed by its ease-of-use, handy features, and overall cleaning power. As a father of three young children, a powerful and versatile vacuum is a necessity. This vacuum was able to tackle every non-liquid-based mess in our entire house. From oatmeal to kinetic sand, this vacuum was able to tackle messes on hardwood floor, carpet, and area rugs with ease. The vacuum comes with a feature that allows you to easily switch between the normal rotating bristle and a suction-only mode. Additionally, the handle has a built-in sliding switch that allows for quick adjustment of suction power based on the surface being cleaned. These features together proved especially useful in seamlessly switching between the hardwood and area rug in our living room. However, my favorite part of this vacuum is it's versatility when using the hose. The hose is built into the handle of the vacuum, and it detaches easily, making for a hassle-free switch between traditional vacuuming to using the hose. The hose comes with a rotating bristle head that was able to clean our couches and suede dining room chairs with ease. But the best part of using the hose is that the entire body portion of the vacuum lifts off the main bristle head, allowing you to carry it with you while you use the hose with ease. This allows you to move about the house, using the hose to get in hard-to-reach places without accidentally pulling the entire vacuum over. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum in exchange for my honest review, as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This vacuum has been a solid addition to my cleaning routine. It's a bit lighter than your standard upright vacuum, which makes it easier to carry around and maneuver, especially with the lift-off canister for stairs and tight corners. The suction power is strong, and picks up dust, pet hair, and debris effectively on both carpet and hard floors. The sliding notch on the handle allows you to easily adjust the suction level, depending on the surface you're cleaning (hardwood/ low carpet vs plush carpet). The lift-off feature operates smoothly and detaches with minimal effort, eliminating the need for any excessive pulling or force. The canister is a decent size and is easy to empty. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions/ volume capacity, but I'm able to vacuum my whole downstairs (approx 1200 sq ft) before emptying it, even with a moderate amount of dog hair. I included a picture of my hand on top of it for reference. My only concern is durability—it doesn't feel as sturdy as some other vacuums I've used in the past. Some of the plastic components seem a little flimsy, so I'm curious how it will hold up over time with regular use. Overall, it cleans well and is convenient to use, but I knocked off one star for the build quality. Still, it's a well-performing vacuum that gets the job done efficiently.

With three small kids constantly making all kinds of messes on different types of flooring, it's definitely been put to the test. I've used it on area rugs, hardwood, and tile. It's handled a variety of messes—crumbs, dirt, hair, playdough, and even sand. The only thing it really struggled with was the sand, especially the larger bits and tiny rocks. I had to go over those spots a few times and adjust the angle to get it all up. One thing that impressed me was how well it removed half-stuck stickers from both wood and tile floors. If they were completely pressed down, I doubt any vacuum could get them off—but for the partially stuck ones, it did great! It's also really easy to take apart and clean, which I usually do after every 2–3 uses. I typically dread dealing with the roller brush on vacuums because we have two long-haired girls in the house, and the shedding is nonstop. So far, though, I haven't had any trouble with this one—the hair has been easy to remove after each use. My only small complaint is that I wish the cord was just a few feet longer, but that's a minor inconvenience overall.

I have 3 kids and crumbs seem to magically appear wherever they go. This vacuum has worked great for cleanup behind them. Over the past couple of weeks, I have used the vacuum on carpet, hardwood floors, rugs and couches. The CleanView Max has made clean up very quick and easy. I love the light-weight design of the vacuum and the suction power. The vacuum is easy to carry up and down the stairs. I can move it around my house without it feeling too heavy. The suction power has been great! The vacuum can easily handle the mess my 3 kids make. I love seeing the all the dust collected after each use! The vacuum can be detached for hard to reach spaces. I like being able to remove it and clean the stairs and corners of my couch. Overall I have been extremely happy with the CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum! It has made vacuuming an easy task and an enjoyable one. The high suction makes quick work of my messy floors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *I received this vacuum for free from Stellar Product Testing Panel.* The Cleanview Max Lift-Off is a great overall vacuum that has some nice features to make it more versatile. I've used it to clean multiple types of surfaces and have found it handles all surfaces well. I particularly like that it doesn't scatter crumbs on my hard floors and actually picks stuff up. I do like the lift-off feature. It doesn't remove as much weight as I would have thought, but it makes it easier to handle on the stairs. I also really like that the wand can release at the flexible hose, or to include the integrated plastic tube extension piece. I find myself using just the hose with the turbo head attachment to get the right angle on my stairs, and the extension release to get window trim or around my baseboards. The extra attachments are well thought out. The turbo roller attachment works extremely well and is very powerful. It sucks up crumbs on my stairs that aren't even directly under the head. I also really like the slim head that has a retractable brush head. I like that it decreases the amount of attachments to store without losing functionality. Huge plus that they are all able to be stored directly on the vacuum without getting in the way. We have people with long hair in my household, and I've found that the roller bar is not truly tangle-free. But, the clearview does let me see when it needs to be cleaned out. The biggest con to me, though, is the cord length. It's a lot shorter than I'm used to. It only means I have to unplug one or two extra times, so it's an annoyance, but not a deal breaker. Overall, I really like this vacuum. I'm impressed with how well thought out it is, and I appreciate the extra features that I wouldn't have necessarily thought to look for in a vacuum.

Upon opening the box, I observed about five different pieces that needed to be assembled prior to use. There are simple assembly instructions included, and it took less than two minutes to put together. The CleanView Max Liftoff is easy to maneuver as I moved from rug to hardwood throughout our house. The bottom portion has a little swivel that makes it easier to handle than some other household vacuums. The attachments are exactly what we need without too much extra. My only complaint is that some of the features are less intuitive than they could be. There are lots of buttons and dual-use attachments that one may miss at first glance.

I really like how compact and lightweight it is—it fits into tight spaces my other vacuums can't reach and is super easy to maneuver. My favorite feature is how effortlessly it turns and glides around furniture.

Let's just say our house can get messy quick between the rainy muddy days, pollen of spring, and constant drops and spills. When I received the vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was almost immediately testing its power. My overall impression was great! I love how lightweight and versatile it is, especially when tackling stairs. The release to remove the base is super easy to do, and made lifting the vacuum up the stairs easier as I did the stairwells. I have very low pile washable rugs and plush carpet in the stairway and hallways, as well as hard wood throughout. It was gentle enough on the hardwood with two settings, one with the brush roll and one that doesn't have the brush roll. I absolutely love that I don't have to switch to a different cleaning system for the hardwoods. My favorite feature was the option to choose between low and high pile carpet and that it was on the handle. I do wish it was a little higher because I did forget about it because it was on the front, but once I figured out my groove, it helped me get up the Bernedoodle hair off my low pile rugs quite easily. Overall, I think this is a great vacuum with versatile cleaning power. I feel cleaner in my home after using it.
