I liked that it was very quick & easy to assemble and also loved that it was pretty lightweight, especially for the power it has. I have a number of different surfaces to clean in my house and it was equally effective across all of them including hardwoods, tile, area rugs and wall-to-wall carpeting. It was easy to switch the settings when moving from one surface to a different one. The accessories were helpful, especially in cleaning a couch (love my dog, but she leaves lots of hair!) as well as on our stairs. I didn't have to "go over" any areas a second time because the suction was great. It was a tad quieter than my previous vacuum, but definitely lighter which was nice. One recommendation I'd make is to make the front of the vacuum base angle more narrow so it fits under kitchen cabinets. It didn't go under mine, which wasn't the end of the world since I could easily lift off the wand and clean under the doors. However, it is obviously quicker/easier without using wand. I was impressed by its ability to do both my hardwood floors as well as the area rugs and runners in my home with just the touch of a button. I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and tried it for two weeks in my home, picking up after my 3 kids and dog. It was great on dog hair, did well picking up the (seemingly endless) spilled cereal and did just fine attacking the general dirt. My one complaint is that the cord was quite short so I had to move plugs a few times to get the job done. Overall, I highly recommend this product for regular cleaning around the house.

As a mom to two messy toddler boys, I definitely value an effective and powerful vacuum. Unfortunately, this one is actually too powerful, which I discovered the first time I used it, when it nearly filled the dust bin with carpet fibers. Hoping it had been a fluke, I tried to vacuum the same area of carpet a second and third time (to make sure), and each time, the strength of the brushroll and suction took up bits and pieces of my carpet. Granted, I live in an apartment, so I'm sure the carpet is not of the highest quality. However, I cannot use a vacuum that destroys my carpet. This vacuum has many pros: - Attractive look and design - Easy assembly/disassembly - Long extension wand - Easy to use - Dust bin is intuitive and easy to empty - Useful accessories - Powerful suction Cons: - Gets a little hot when used - Has a funny smell the first time or two that it's used - Suction/brushroll combination is so powerful that it actually suctions up the carpet itself I am truly impressed with the suction power of this vacuum, so much so that I may keep it so that I can use the extensions to clean things like air vents, baseboards, etc. However, I cannot recommend this vacuum because the main brushroll is so powerful that it is actually destructive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by the CleanView® Max Lift-Off! Right out of the box, it was super easy to assemble, which I really appreciated. It took me a moment to figure out where all the attachments went, but once I did, everything felt intuitive and accessible. Design-wise, I like the sleek look and how lightweight the vacuum feels, even with the detachable canister. One downside is that there's no foot pedal to lean it back—something I'm used to—so that took a little adjusting. The swivel head felt a bit awkward at first, but I quickly realized how helpful it was for maneuvering into tight corners and under furniture. As far as cleaning power goes, this vacuum really impressed me. I used it on hardwood floors and short carpet, and it picked up cat hair like a champ. It's also quieter than I expected, which made for a more pleasant cleaning experience. My favorite feature has to be the detachable main body and hose with attachments—it made it super easy to clean stairs and get into hard-to-reach areas. We have had many upright vacuums before but this one is great. It is very light weight and easy to maneuver. The lift off feature has been great for my stairs. I always struggled when I had to lug the entire vacuum up and down the stairs but the lift off solves that problem. Even though the vacuum is light it has great suction. We have a 75lb German shepherd that is actively shedding for spring and it handles her hair no problem. The brush/crevice tool has been a game changer for cleaning her crate and getting into all the small spaces. I've also used it on all my baseboards and they look great! My 14 and 12 year old boys help with the vacuuming each week and also really enjoy using it. They love the easy transition from carpet to hardwood as our flooring changes frequently. It's been really wonderful to have it and we have been nothing but impressed.

This new vacuum could not have come at a better time. Our old vacuum was on its last leg and I was in the market for a new one. We have 7 kids, ages 15 down to 1 so it's not uncommon for us to vacuum 2-3 times in a day. In my search for a replacement, I was excited to see that the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off checked off ALL of my boxes. Here's a few of my most loved features.. *For a full sized vacuum, this one is on the lighter side. It's sturdy and light enough my kids can use it. *I love the HEPA filter. We try to keep the house as tidy as possible (it's definitely lived in, but clean). I feel good knowing it's filtering airborne allergens so my family can't breathe easier. *The dirt collection canister empties easily with one hand so no extra messes to clean up. *The cord is longer than many of our past vacuums which makes cleaning from room to room much simpler. *With 4 girls in the house, we are always shedding our long hair. This vacuum has a no-tangle roller brush so we don't have to worry about the brush getting locked up with hair. *The filters are washable, which makes this vacuum more cost efficient for our large family. *We use this vacuum literally in every room in our home. Kitchen, bedrooms, dining room and even the bathroom! It works great with a toggle from carpet to hard floor! This is definitely one of the best vacuums we've owned over the years.

This vacuum is not too bulky or heavy making it easy to take up or down stairs. I was shocked by the results achieved in my home with this vacuum, it works great. The vacuum was easy to assemble out of the box and it is a very user-friendly product. I like the length of the cord which allows me to access 1 or 2 rooms without unplugging it. The attachments that are included for the detachable wand are useful for various cleaning situations, small cracks, etc. I love how easily the vacuum glides across floors, whether they be carpet or hardwood. The vacuum swivels as you push so you can get around furniture or other items quickly. You can adjust settings on the brush rollers so that the vacuum better cleans depending on hard or carpeted floors. The filters are easy to remove, clean and replace. I was shocked the first time I used this vacuum. I had vacuumed a large rug with another cleaner, but when I went back over the same rug with the Bissell Cleanview Max Lift-Off the tank contained debris that clearly was missed before! I loved being able to see how much I was cleaning out of the rugs, carpets and floors through my home. I am so glad I have this vacuum to help keep my home clean! Compared to our other upright vacuum that is similar to this Bissell there are minor details that this vacuum has that make a difference and more loveable. - The long wand is very flexible. - It is very easy and smooth to maneuver. - The canister and wand is very easy to release . - You do not need to unravel all of the cord to separate the canister (this was a huge plus for us). - Different adapters that serve different purposes. They also stay put. The adapters on my other vacuum always falls off. We used this vacuum on wood floor, carpet, and area rugs. With all the hair that my daughters and I accumulate everywhere, this really picks it up. The kids are also really messy when they eat and this picks up all the little crumbs that drop on the floor.
