After being in need of something that would be easier to move around the house, I was intrigued by the design and the way the canister/hose could detach from the base. After putting the vacuum together, I instantly started cleaning the hard wood floors of my kitchen. Having young kids and pets, the edges of my cabinets collect a lot of crumbs and hair. This vacuum moved around with ease and picked up all the crumbs in one pass. Overall, it has pretty good power. Detaching the canister/hose is super simple. It comes off with ease at the push of a button and goes back on just as easily. I was able to easily navigate around my kitchen and then moved to my carpeted stairs which collect a lot of dog hair, leaves, dust and crumbs. . It's really quite the innovative design! Tackling the stairs was a lot easier with the detachable canister. The only slightly tough piece is that the cord is still attached to the main unit, so although it's still a good length, it can be a bit cumbersome. At the end of the day, this is an impressive vacuum that really has a unique and innovative, with good suction power. It's easy to use/clean and is at just the right price point to be attainable, while also giving a unique design. I highly recommend it!

I couldn't be more pleased with the Clean View Max Lift-Off Vacuum! Right out of the box, I was impressed by its sleek, modern design. It looks great and feels thoughtfully made—sturdy but not bulky. As someone who's currently pregnant, I especially appreciate how lightweight and easy it is to maneuver. I definitely didn't want to be dragging a heavy vacuum up and down the stairs, and with this one, I don't have to! The cleaning power is amazing. It tackled everything from pet hair to crumbs and dirt with ease. I've used it on hardwood, area rugs, and carpet, and it performed beautifully on each surface. It transitions seamlessly and leaves every area feeling truly clean. My favorite feature is the lift-off canister. It's such a lifesaver for stairs, tight corners, and even quick spot-cleaning jobs. Being able to detach it and carry it around makes vacuuming feel so much more manageable—especially right now when I need to avoid heavy lifting. Overall, I am impressed with the look and design of the product. The vacuum is pretty light and glides very easy on tile and hardwood floors. I especially like how it swivels and picks up close around corners and alongside the baseboards. I found it required a little more strength when vacuuming a low carpet as it did not move or glide smoothly. I also found the wheels constantly got tangled with the cord due to the position of the cord. It sits very low. If the cord were positioned a little higher up on vacuum this would alleviate the problem. The cord could stand to be a little longer. Attachments are easy to use and works well cleaning blinds and sofa. Vacuum assembly was not complicated and found it easy to empty and clean.

I have two large German shepherds who are inside 90% of the time so my home is covered in dog hair. I really put this thing to the test! I ran it immediately after running my current vacuum on my bedroom carpet where the dogs sleep, my tile floor, hardwood floor, area rugs and LVP. I was shocked how full that canister was after one session! I will say with the suction on max on plush carpet with the brushes on full it was a bit of a work out but it was worth it for that deep clean! I love that the suction, brush (on or off), and type of flooring can all be adjusted so it's gentle on my tile and hardwoods but tough on my carpets for that deep clean! It was easy to maneuver and pivot. The machine itself is lightweight, the workout comes when you have it on full suction on plush carpets. Overall this is a must have for pet owners!!

This new vacuum could not have come at a better time. Our old vacuum was on its last leg and I was in the market for a new one. We have 7 kids, ages 15 down to 1 so it's not uncommon for us to vacuum 2-3 times in a day. In my search for a replacement, I was excited to see that the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off checked off ALL of my boxes. Here's a few of my most loved features.. *For a full sized vacuum, this one is on the lighter side. It's sturdy and light enough my kids can use it. *I love the HEPA filter. We try to keep the house as tidy as possible (it's definitely lived in, but clean). I feel good knowing it's filtering airborne allergens so my family can't breathe easier. *The dirt collection canister empties easily with one hand so no extra messes to clean up. *The cord is longer than many of our past vacuums which makes cleaning from room to room much simpler. *With 4 girls in the house, we are always shedding our long hair. This vacuum has a no-tangle roller brush so we don't have to worry about the brush getting locked up with hair. *The filters are washable, which makes this vacuum more cost efficient for our large family. *We use this vacuum literally in every room in our home. Kitchen, bedrooms, dining room and even the bathroom! It works great with a toggle from carpet to hard floor! This is definitely one of the best vacuums we've owned over the years.

You really don't need instructions, but I did follow them to make sure I didn't miss the step. I am very impressed with this vacuum cleaner. I love how easy it is to vacuum with it and especially how easy it is to clean out the canister. I posted a picture of just doing part of my couch and I can't believe what all it picked up. The suction power is the best I've ever seen on the vacuum. I just went ahead and back in my kitchen that has luxury vinyl plank floor as well and all the little specs that my robot vacuum missed, the Bissell clean view max lift off upright got it immediately. The power of this vacuum is nothing like I have had. Great for furniture especially with the different attachments. My three year-old son can even vacuum it so it's light enough for him to move it again. I highly recommend this for not only for pet owners but also for those that just have kids or really need a good vacuum clean for their house. I give this five stars and highly recommend. We have a five level split layout with a mix of carpet, hardwoods, and rugs, plus two kids and a dog. To start with, my seven year old assembled this out of the box in about five minutes. This vacuum was amazing for getting into all of the nooks and crannies in the kitchen, for sucking all the crumbs and dog hair out of the sofa, and for getting into the crevices of the many staircases. Using it as a regular upright, the handling was great on both carpet and hardwoods and the suction power is amazing. I was skeptical about the liftoff portion, but it was great and made it really easy to get the stairs and under the island in the kitchen, between the stool legs. Overall, I think this is a great product and it met the needs of our family well. I was given this upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I would happily buy it myself after using it for several weeks.

I thought my house was really clean so I was shocked when I used this vacuum the first time. I couldn't believe how much dirt and dog hair was in the cannister. It is light and easy to use but has amazing suction. It worked great on hardwood, low pile, and regular pile carpet. I would highly recommend the Max Lift-Off to anyone who has pets or kids!

However, with two dogs, a toddler, and carpeted bedrooms, I guess the cordless vacuum wasn't cutting it. I have been amazed (and disgusted?) with how much DIRT AND DUST this vacuum has sucked up. Even after I run the Dyson over the area rugs, I can go back with the Bissell and it will get a ton of dirt. It's not as easy to maneuver (like a stick vacuum is) but what it lacks there, it makes up for in power. I used to hate having to plug a vacuum in, but now I see that it's worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression is that this vacuum is average and not over all better than a cordless stick vacuum for my specific house. First off the things I loved were the suction power on low pile carpets, the attachment storage, the way it seemed to get deeper dust and an good amount of hair, and that it is comparatively lightweight for its size. But the things I disliked don't make those things worth it for a corded vacuum in my opinion. Things I disliked were that it continually thought it was clogged and would auto shut off when trying to do my higher pile carpet which my smaller stick vacuum is able to handle with ease. It is loose weave and not so tall that this larger vacuum should have been stopping like that, so that was my first frustration. Second dislike was that on my vinyl flooring it was occasionally skipping over food or flinging it backwards with and without the roller function on. And third thing I disliked would be that for a corded vacuum I don't think it did anything much better than a similarly priced cordless stick vacuum could do because I still had to pass over some messes multiple times like bigger crumbs and just stuff my kids dropped on the floor throughout the day. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and tested it on multiple surfaces multiple times. Overall I would recommend for someone who is used to a corded vacuum, who has only low pile thick carpet. But otherwise I am not sure I would recommend this specific vacuum over others similarly priced.
