[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissel CleanView Max Lift off is a great vacuum, from opening the box, putting it together, and using it, the experience has been intuitive and easy. My daughter and I have below the waist length hair and we traditionally have issues with vacuums getting hung up, but this vacuum has stayed the course over the past three weeks of every other day use. We also have a dog and a cat and it has done great picking up all the hair they may drop. My only complaint, is that I cannot easily access the area where the filter is in the vortex chamber. This made it difficult to empty the canister because I sucked up a dart and it trapped all the debris up at the top. I eventually figured out how to get the stuff from being lodged up top (I banged the canister on the carpeted floor to dislodge the stuff. Overall, this vacuum really sucks! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've struggled to find a consistent upright vacuum, going for a few different brands but never feeling fully satisfied in the clean level, often having to go over the same carpet a number of times. Then, I was given this clean view upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It easily picks up the dirt and pet hair from any floor (I used it on both my carpet floors and hardwood) without having to go over the area multiple times. Also, it seems to pick up more than other vacuums. The attached picture is how much it picked up from a single 8x8 carpet AFTER I went over it with my old vacuum first! The detachable hose includes two easy to use and store attachments that work well for couches and corners that the main unit can't reach. I have two cats, so being able to clean a couch is crucial for me. So far I'm very pleased with this vacuum and get to enjoy a much cleaner home!

I was impressed by its ability to do both my hardwood floors as well as the area rugs and runners in my home with just the touch of a button. I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and tried it for two weeks in my home, picking up after my 3 kids and dog. It was great on dog hair, did well picking up the (seemingly endless) spilled cereal and did just fine attacking the general dirt. My one complaint is that the cord was quite short so I had to move plugs a few times to get the job done. Overall, I highly recommend this product for regular cleaning around the house.

I have a plush rug in my living room and the adjustable setting for plush carpet to low pile made it so easy to go from plush carpet to our polished concrete floors. Making it my favorite feature with this vacuum. I like the design and it is easy to empty and use. I am so thankful that I was given this upright vacuum as a part of The Stellar Testing Panel.

At first use it picked up far more than any other vacuum in my kid's rooms. My carpets are a little older so it helped remove a ton of loose fiber and fuzz I didn't know was even there, not to mention the endless crumbs. I also think the power of the suction helps reduce any allergies. Plus I love that just freshly vacuumed look it creates. What's nice is the attachments clip right onto the vacuum itself so you never have to search for those. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product testing panel. When I received it I was surprised at how light the box was. Compared to some of the other upright vacuum's I have used it is significantly lighter. I did not expect to have to assemble this vacuum due to the size of the box, but it needed to be assembled. The floor sweeping part and the lift off canister were separate (because it is a lift off), the hose needed to be attached to the handle which is also the cleaning wand. A major bonus for this vacuum is the versatility. Want to clean stairs, use the lift off. The lift off is also convenient for use in cars! Want to clean carpet and hard surface, use it as a conventional vacuum. I used the vacuum to clean up a litter spill in the garage, crumb duty in my van, glitter fallout from crafting. It handled it all with ease. Over all this is a great vacuum! I am hoping to continue to use if for a long time!

I am always looking for a reliable and functional vacuum, as we have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and live on a farm. Between the animal hair and mud, I clean multiple times a week. Assembly was simple and self-explanatory, but the directions were easy to read. When cleaning carpet, the first thing I noticed was the strong suction power. Because of the suction power, the vacuum requires more effort to move it forward and backward, and while I'd prefer power over ease, my arms did start to tire towards the end of the clean. The attachments are my favorite feature; the detail brush that attaches to the handle is a life saver! The bristles are soft, but sturdy, and I use it to detail-clean baseboards, doors, windows sills, around our stone fireplace, and that pesky area where the carpet from the stairs meets the hardwood on the floor. I wish the retraction of the handheld wand was longer and more flexible; the vacuum falls over when I'm reaching too high or at a funky angle. The vacuum does well on our hardwood and laminate as well. I haven't had issues with it struggling to pick up debris, but I do use the wand under cabinets and in corners where the vacuum is just too bulky to reach. I love that there are places for each attachment, and I've only had occasional instances of them falling off. Emptying the vacuum is simple and doesn't require too much man power, which is always appreciated! In general, this is an excellent vacuum, a little on the heavier side, but the attachments make up for it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With 3 school aged children, a dog, 2 cats, and a couple of guinnea pigs, my mostly hardwood 19th century house is always dirty with kid messes and animal hair. As my current vacuum is not effective in removing these messes, I was very happy to receive this vacuum from Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. First impressions are it's very comfortable to use and push around on carpet, large area rugs, and hard floor surfaces. I have wide gaps in between my old wood floors and I was ecstatic the hose attachment with crevice tool sucked up most of what has settled in there with one pass. The comfortable grip handle, quite motor, and swivel base are also appreciated and the hose attachment being connected to the handle for more ergonomic and precise vacuuming, like under furniture and along baseboards, is really helpful. The HEPA filter and dirt canister are each easy to remove as well. Just a small thing, but a nice touch, is the writing on the handle oriented toward the user when vacuuming to choose bare floor or carpeting. A few drawbacks are vacuum foot with the beater needed many passes over hard floors that had debris like dried leaves and grass (brought in by pets and kids) so I would only use the hose attachment for those types of messes. Speaking of kids, my 9 and 11 year olds assembled the vacuum out of the box in about 5 minutes! All in all, a great easy to use vacuum that I'm looking forward to using regularly.

We have a mixture of laminate flooring and carpet, heavier on the laminate. With kids, the floor always seems to have crumbs. This vacuum is easy and quick to use to clean, sometimes multiple times per day. The string suction works great to get the little crumbs in hard to reach areas. I also love the detachable canister. It is very convenient to take the canister up the stairs to clear rather than hauling the entire vacuum. Overall, we love this vacuum and would highly recommend.
