I vacuumed my entire upstairs (carpet) with my old vacuum then re-vacuumed the same are with THIS vacuum and it picked up so much more dust/lint - it shocked me. It does great on carpets and good on hardwood. I received this product as party of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and am so excited to keep this vacuum! I'm throwing my old one out. Buy it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the pleasure of testing the CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum. Because I have a dog and cat that are both indoor, & also messy teenagers, I was definitely needing something to help with messes without spending a ton of time. This vacuum is the answer I've been looking for. First off, I absolutely love so many features about this vacuum. It has 2 different brushes that can be attached to the wand to tackle different messes. Having pets and kids, I thought it was genius to add these 2 tools to the vacuum. And they have a tool storage on both sides of the vacuum to store the brushes. The wand can be released with the click of a button - the same goes for the XL dirt tank, which is another thing I love. It's so easy to click a button to release the tank, empty the trash, then just click it right back on. The wand is great for those little quick messes that happen throughout the day too. My absolute favorite feature about this would be the swivel steering. The vacuum goes in literally any corner and makes cleaning those hard to reach places a breeze. You can also switch between plush carpet or hardwood flooring with the click of a button. I absolutely cannot recommend this vacuum enough. There's so many great things about it, but the best thing I've discovered since using it is that my son's allergies are nowhere near as bad as they were prior to using it. All in all, I firmly believe every household should own one, especially if you have inside pets or children. I would give this 10 stars if I could. The main vacuum does a good job cleaning messes on my hardwood floors, low-pile rugs and carpet. The tangle-free feature is my favorite feature. It makes vacuuming so much easier. However, the included tools did not work as well as the main vacuum and I found myself needing to go over the same spots on carpet several times to get them clean.

Upon opening the box, assembling the vacuum cleaner was simple, quick, and easy to complete by myself. The vacuum cleaner is fairly lightweight for its size. Once I got it assembled in less than 5 minutes after opening the box, I was eager to try it out on our bedroom carpets. We vacuum regularly, about once a week on average, so I was surprised at how much dirt this vacuum picked up after only one pass. I am a homeschool mom with two young sons who spend most of their day outside and track dirt and debris into the house. The suction power in the CleanView Max Lift-Off is amazing! The canister on the vacuum cleaner is easy to empty, and didn't spill any dirt onto the floors while emptying into the trash can. We have a mix of hardwoods, tile, and carpeted floors in our home, and switching between vacuuming the different types of floors is so easy. I can quickly adjust the roller off or on to go from vacuuming carpets to the tile in our bathrooms, or the hardwoods in the halls and living area. The vacuum picks up all of the crumbs off the hardwoods around the kitchen table, and also picks up the inevitable stray hairs in the bathroom floor without the brush getting tangled. I especially love the Lift-Off feature, which allows the bottom roller portion of the vacuum cleaner to detach, making it even more lightweight and compact. This combined with the long hose and attachments makes cleaning higher areas like the blinds and framing around the windows easy to reach. My son even loves to vacuum the blinds with the brush attachment. The Turbo Brush hose attachment is perfect for cleaning the stairs leading up from our basement where our primary entrance is, which has reduced the amount of dirt and debris being brought upstairs. This vacuum is powerful, easy to maneuver, and great for daily use. We often pull it out to vacuum up crumbs after meals and snacks. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am giving the Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off Vacuum 5 stars because I truly can't find any flaws with it! The overall look and design is very nice, and it performs wonderfully. I felt that the cleaning power was excellent. I loved the Turbo-brush attachment which was extremely powerful for hard to reach/ small areas such as my staircase. I have a combination of carpet, wood floors, and area rugs in my house, and I felt that it did equally well on both carpeted and hard surfaces. The vacuum feels high quality, and not too heavy to push. I just hosted a large gathering at my house and my floors were a mess afterwards, but this vacuum got the job done! One of my favorite things about this vacuum was that there was almost no hair on the brush roll after vacuuming my entire house! I have always struggled with other vacuums getting hair stuck in the brush roll, but not with this vacuum. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this awesome vacuum!

Cleaning power is strong and I like the attachments and the attachment storage - they do not fall off like they have on my older upright vacuum. I also like that the cord does not wrap around the wand attachment so you can remove the wand without having to remove the cord plug. It seems to clean well on carpet, rug and hardwood and transitions seamlessly across surfaces. It is not a quiet vacuum but the noise is reasonable for the suction it provides. Maintenance is easy and it is really easy to empty the collection tank. The vacuum is lightweight and easy to maneuver but feels plenty sturdy. The overwhelming factor for me is the suction and ability to really clean whatever surface you're on without having to do multiple sweeps over the area. This vacuum does the trick and would definitely recommend to pet owners or families with kids where crumbs and grime seems never-ending!

I've had several vacuums which claim to be high suction but nome have topped this vacuum. I am embarrassed that I thought my rugs were clean prior to using this product. The first use picked up more dirt, dander and dog fur than I thought was even possible. It's design is a bit cumbersome and takes up some space but overall this vacuum is worth finding the storage space. It's powerful, swivels with ease, goes from hardwood to tile to area rugs without hesitation. With a flip of the switch you can turn on the roller and turn it off. My favorite part is the powerful hose attachment. It cleans couches, chairs, stairs, etc with incredible suction. This piece is unique as it doesn't have any electrical aspect and solely functions with the suction of the vacuum itself. The CleanView Pet vacuum was great on both my hardwoods and my low and high pile carpet. My daughter has Berber in her room and we have a high pile carpet in our bedroom. The clean view max is the best on all different types of flooring. It did a great job on Berber and also high pile carpet. I was even impressed with the suction and sweeping power on hardwood floors. It sucked up a ton of hair that I couldn't even see. We have a dog and a cat and was very impressed with how well the vacuum worked. The amount of hair that was in the container was insane especially since we have been using our prior vacuum at least three times weekly before using the cleanview pet max. The vacuum was not very loud and I really liked all the attachments that come with it. The brush attachment for furniture did a great job getting pet hair out. I love the attachable hose for ceiling dirt. It was easy to clean my blinds and upholstery with the hose that detaches without stopping vacuuming. Impressive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum through the Stellar Product Testing Panel but the opinions here are my own. Wow! This vacuum was Powerful! My first time using the vacuum, I vacuumed the rug in my family room. Normally I leave our automatic vacuum to take care of that rug, but I won't anymore! This Bissell CleanView Max vacuum was AMAZING at getting out the pet fur, dirt, dust, and hair that had accumulated on the rug. I had to vacuum and empty the waste canister several times before the rug was cleaned well- that's how poorly my other vacuum did, and how well the Bissell CleanView Max did. My teenager even commented how much better the rug looked! I also have tried the vacuum on hard floors (the suction is still wonderful unlike other vacuums), stairs, and carpet. The Bissell was a little hard to push on the carpet, but then I noticed I could change the setting for how thick my carpet is. That changed everything and made vacuuming the carpet so much easier! I love that I can take the canister off the wheel base, to be able to vacuum on stairs. And I can even vacuum in corners and tight to reach places easily with the extension nozzle. One thing I am not completely thrilled with is how “tight” the extension hose is. I understand that the extension hose needs to be tight enough to keep the hose from dangling loose. But if I vacuum with just the hose, the vacuum falls over if I reach too far. Now, having said that, I believe the strength of the suction in this vacuum far outweighs the annoyance of having to be careful that I don't pull the vacuum over. I am definitely going to tell my friends that this vacuum is worth every penny!

It is easy to assemble, easy to use, and efficiently picks up pet hair and dirt from both carpets and hardwood floors. The suction is excellent, the vacuum is lightweight, cord is lengthy and the canister is very easy to clean! It also saves me from having to purchase replacement bags! I love the swivel head as it makes getting under the kitchen table and couch very easy. It is powerful, but not too noisy! It also has an attractive design. I would highly recommend this product. Thus far, it is the best vacuum I've ever owned. 5/5 stars!
