Powerful suction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum. CleanView® Max Lift-Off was designed with busy pet owners in mind, that need to do quick yet effective vaccum sessions. The vacuum is lightweight, especially when using the hose and canister off the base. This feature allows for quick transfer between rooms. I also Love the fact that you can store the attachments on the actual vaccum. The vaccum has great suction. I was actually impressed at how much dust and pet hair it picked up on a quick run. I tested the vacuum in LVP (luxury vinyl plank), low pile rug, long pile rug, and carpeted stairs. My takeaway was that it doesn't run great on LVP I felt that the vacuum was meant for carpet and rugs. It did great on low pile rug and carpet. It struggled on my long pile rug, but I have a very long pile rug. Most vacuums struggled on that rug. I was very excited to try the hose attachments. I like how much the hose stretch. I was disappointed. I tried the brush attachment on my stairs. The brush attachment would stop spinning when put just a small amount of pressure. Overall I think this is a good vacuum for those looking for good suction, lightweight, a long hose, and the ability to remove the canister from the base. The attachments however need improvement.
Great vacuum, but could use a couple features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissel CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum is a great vacuum. The suction is really good; half the dust bin was full when I was done! I liked the way the tools were secured on board, they didn't get in the way or fall off as I moved around. It was pretty quiet, which is nice if you have kids and you try and clean when they nap. A few things that would have made it a 5-star review would be to have a light on the front. It helps in dark areas, especially on wood floors because it lights up the dirt. It worked great on my area rugs, wood floors and regular plush carpets but I had a really hard time with my shag-like carpeting. It was almost impossible to move the vacuum back and forth, even on the high pile carpet setting. The hand tools were good, except I found the attachment with the brush roll didn't really work; it didn't move at all when trying to vacuum my couches. I received this upright vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
Great versatile vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a mom of three young kids and two dogs. Having a vacuum that can take on all the messes of my household is a top priority. I've used this vacuum on four different surfaces and it's passed the test: 1) carpet - this is where I found it most effective, which is definitely a priority. 2) rug - I was very impressed in how much I found in the vacuum canister after vacuuming my medium pile rug 3) wood and floor - while it passed the test and did an effective job cleaning a mess of crumbs in my pantry, I did notice some larger chunks would get grabbed by the brush roller but then shot out the back of the vacuum, even on the hard floor setting. There could be some improvement in this area. 4) curtains/blinds - this was my favorite part! The handle of the vacuum disconnects to reveal the wand! I used the attachment to clean my Roman blinds and they look amazing! My one complaint in this area is the wand is a bit too long and can be unruly, whereas the hose is a little too short to reach the top without some effort The vacuum "feel" is nice, not to heavy but feels rugged. The brush head could be a tad larger to cover more space, and the bin could also be larger for longer runs. I do really love that it has a very reasonable operating volume - it's far quieter than most vacuums I have used, even stick vacuums. Lastly, not a deal breaker, but I wish the power button and the carpet/wood floor button were swapped. It feels more intuitive to have the power on the handle, and I suspect my husband won't notice that he needs to switch the carpet/wood button as he moves between different surfaces because it's just not in a natural line of sight. These are nuances but overall I am very glad to have this vacuum - it's very versatile, easy to use, and effective.
Great vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the different settings on the vacuum and that they were easy to understand. The switch is clearly labeled plush carpet to low carpet as well as a switch to turn the rotating sweeper on or off. My only complaint with that is the switch to turn the vacuum on/off is not where i naturally expect it to be at the top of the vacuum. I loved the attachments that came with the vacuum and I LOVE that they attach directly to the vacuum itself. They will no longer be lost at the bottom of a storage closet. The small brush attachment was the best. We have thick molding at the base of our walls and this attachment was perfect for getting the dust out of the grooves. I also used it to clean the crevices in our upholstered dining set. The vacuum is heavier than our previous vacuum (but also better suction). But for the weight reason it wouldn’t be my first choice when vacuuming stairs. Overall, very happy!
This thing is GREAT
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start by saying a quick thank you to the Stellar Produce testing panel for a chance to review this product in exchange for my honest feedback. Lets start this off with some of the down sides, using the CleanView® Max Lift-Off can get a little jarring when trying to pivot the head when it is close to upright. It seems to push into the carpet, instead of rolling. The length and width dimensions of the rot- bar head are nice, but become unstable on the steps. On the steps a longer power cord, and tubes would have been nice as vacuuming carpeted steps is hard enough. Now on to the good stuff! Right out of the box the CleanView® Max Lift-Off, looked awesome! It was easy to assemble, parts were light without feeling cheap or flimsy. From unboxing to vacuuming my first room was less than 5 minutes. The overall cleaning power was impressive. To test out the CleanView® Max Lift-Off, I ran an automatic vacuum cleaner in each of the 5 rooms, prior to testing the CleanView® Max Lift-Off. As previously mentioned in my test, I did two sets of stairs as well. On the flat floors, I went from carpet, to hardwood, to tile, to sheet vinyl flooring. We have 2 cats, and 2 kids, so to be able to go from multiple surfaces to clean up after the cats litter, dirt in embedded into the carpet with quick adjustments was a very nice feature. I also did baseboards, and blinds as a part of the test in the 5 rooms. My favorite few features of the CleanView® Max Lift-Off are that it is light, and that changing the settings from longer carpet to turning off the roto-bar are quick and easy. The attachments all fit onto the vacuum and stay on while in use! And for the follow up to the automatic vacuum cleaner. I have included a picture of the ADDITIONAL debris it was able to pick up in the 5 rooms tested.
Strong and handy vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleased with this vacuum from the time I opened the box! It had easy to follow assembly instructions and I had it ready to go in about 2 minutes. After talking a few minutes to check out the various options and attachments, I put it to work! My home is a pretty even mix of carpet and tile and it performed beautifully on both. I especially enjoyed the easy to detach handle for cleaning out cracks and corners. Although the suction was a little lackluster in that form, using the regular vacuum base made up for it! It had an amazingly strong suction especially on low carpet. It's a little gross (yet impressive) seeing how much dirt and trash it was able to pick up even after running my little robot vacuum a few days prior. My only dislike is that the handle doesn't seem to be completely secured in place so while pushing and pulling during vacuuming, the constant quarter inch movement of the handle/wand in and out is a little annoying. But the suction power definitely makes up for it!
Very impressed so far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, the assembly could not have been easier. I don’t consider myself incredibly handy or savvy with assembling things, but I put this together in under 3 minutes easily. I think the design is super solid, the tools make sense, and the suction is great! The cord wraps easily and conveniently and is a great length. I have three kids so there is no shortage of messes to clean up (food crumbs, dirt trekked in, etc) and this vacuum has handled it all on both hardwood and carpet. Overall I’ve been super impressed!
It really sucks!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum. Everywhere on the vacuum's box, it said the suction is great! Yes, it is! It really sucks!! I vacuumed my floors with my old upright vacuum and our robot vacuum before using this, and it sucked up so much dust, dirt, and whatever else it could find! It has no bells and whistles, it's pretty simple, but I have found that that means they really put their efforts towards the things that matter most - suction and versatility. I like the look and design of this vacuum - black with some blue. It rolls really smoothly making it easy to push on any surface! I have 6 children, 3 dogs (2 are puppies!), and a cat. This vacuum worked amazingly for every mess my family made! We have all types of flooring - hard floors, carpeting, and area rugs. There wasn't a single flooring type it didn't work well on! My favorite feature on this vacuum is the hose. I was able to use it to clean the baseboards, fans, and books and crevices that were hard to reach. I would definitely recommend this vacuum!
Super Efficient Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This arrived the day before Mother's Day, and I joked that it was a gift to myself. No joke, I really appreciate this vacuum's capabilities, functions, easy-to-maneuver design, and over effectiveness in picking up dust and debris around my home. My home is mostly hardwood, and each room has an area rug of various thickness. This vacuum has multiple settings from flat surfaces like hardwood (so no scratches) to low rugs, to thick carpets. I was able to easily switch settings while cleaning up each room. Also, it takes little effort to redirect the vacuum, and with a simple turn of the wrist the bottom turns and twists to follow your lead, like a trusted horse. I was very happy with the amount of dust I was able to collect. The floors looked shiny, the rugs were clean, I even used the attachment on the couches and stairs. It was not too heavy either bringing it up the stairs to do those and then the 2nd level in my house. While I don't have pets, I do have long-haired, young daughters who craft, and I sew. I was impressed that this was able to pick up everything from paper scraps, Cheerios, hair, beads, thread, etc. It is easy to empty as well, and I was able to fish out a Lego because you can see everything in the catcher. No toys were lost. I was able to assemble/reassemble the vacuum with ease. Honestly, I am over the moon with this machine. I am excited to use it more and test out all the features.
Very impressed with this great vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with this vacuum from the beginning! It was very simple to assemble - 5 minutes to put together. Sleek and compact design making it easy to maneuver. The on/off switch was placed approximately. The cord was longer than my previous vacuum so I was able to cover more without stopping to plug in. The wand release was in a good spot and easy to access. The wand itself is longer than usual so I was able to reach tight places. I used it on both bare floors and carpet. It had great power and easily cleaned up dirt from a plant that was knocked over. It was easy to empty. From beginning to end, this is a great product. I highly recommend it! To sum up all positives: • Cord longer than previous vacuum • Easy to maneuver • Wand was long enough to reach tight places • Wand release was easy to use • On/off buttons were well placed and easy to find • Button for bare floor/carpet was easy to find • Good suction • Easy to empty • Simple to assemble
