From the moment it was delivered, the experience started off well. The box was easy to transport, and although I felt flustered when I opened it and saw all the parts, it assembled in less than a minute! My first impression after turning it on was how quiet it was—especially for a vacuum of this size. It did a tremendous job sucking up all the gray gunk hidden deep in my carpet, even though I vacuum frequently. While we don’t have pets, I live with four ladies—and we all have long, thick hair. I was impressed by how well the vacuum picked up hair that my previous vacuum always missed. Even better, the hair didn’t tangle around the brushes. On carpet, it was a dream to use—it glided smoothly despite its powerful suction. When I tried it on hardwood floors, it performed just as well. The strong brush managed to lift small, stubborn bits like cilantro and even a squished chocolate chip. The Lift-Off Detachable Pod was a standout feature. It made it easy to pick items that wouldn’t suck in normally, and best of all, I didn’t have to keep bending down. The pod had incredible suction and cleaned the sofa edges and stair corners with ease. As for handling: lifting is easy, but storing could be more convenient. It’s on the bulky side and requires a bit more room for quick access in daily cleaning. Areas for Improvement: 1. The Detachable Pod could benefit from a longer hose for extended reach. 2. A retractable power cord would make setup and storage much smoother.

Because I have a dog and cat that are both indoor, & also messy teenagers, I was definitely needing something to help with messes without spending a ton of time. This vacuum is the answer I've been looking for. First off, I absolutely love so many features about this vacuum. It has 2 different brushes that can be attached to the wand to tackle different messes. Having pets and kids, I thought it was genius to add these 2 tools to the vacuum. And they have a tool storage on both sides of the vacuum to store the brushes. The wand can be released with the click of a button - the same goes for the XL dirt tank, which is another thing I love. It's so easy to click a button to release the tank, empty the trash, then just click it right back on. The wand is great for those little quick messes that happen throughout the day too. My absolute favorite feature about this would be the swivel steering. The vacuum goes in literally any corner and makes cleaning those hard to reach places a breeze. You can also switch between plush carpet or hardwood flooring with the click of a button. I absolutely cannot recommend this vacuum enough. There's so many great things about it, but the best thing I've discovered since using it is that my son's allergies are nowhere near as bad as they were prior to using it. All in all, I firmly believe every household should own one, especially if you have inside pets or children. I would give this 10 stars if I could. It has some great features that really stood out, but also a few tweaks I would make. In terms of look and design, the vacuum is sleek and modern. It has a compact build that doesn't take up much storage space, and the detachable base is a clever touch. I really liked the feature where the base can disconnect — it made it easier to clean stairs and tight corners without hauling the whole vacuum around. The spinning attachment head was another favorite of mine; it did a good job loosening up dirt and sucking up pet hair, especially on carpeted surfaces. When it comes to cleaning power, the vacuum definitely had strong suction. It helped me tackle everyday messes like dust, crumbs, and pet hair with no problem. I used it on a variety of surfaces — hardwood, low-pile carpet, and area rugs — and it performed well across the board in terms of picking up debris. Unfortunately, I did run into a couple of issues. The vacuum was surprisingly difficult to maneuver, especially in tighter areas. I found myself having to wrestle with it a bit more than I'd like. I was both deeply impressed and honestly disgusted by the amount of dust, debris, and cat fur this powerful vacuum pulled up. Seeing it swirl around the clear canister was both horrifying and incredibly satisfying. I thought I was doing a decent job keeping my floors clean, but this vacuum exposed the truth. After just one use, my home felt cleaner and I felt motivated to vacuum more often. I started vacuuming more thoroughly to see how much dirt it could catch: a lot. A few drawbacks to note. It's definitely heavy, so carrying it up and down stairs isn't effortless. Also, I found the cord got in the way more than I'd like, and I really missed having a retractable cord—it's a small thing, but makes a big difference when you're cleaning frequently. Despite those minor cons, this vacuum has totally upped my cleaning game. If you're looking for something powerful and oddly motivating, the BISSELL CleanView Max Lift-Off delivers. I really like that this vacuum is light weight and easy to use, and it works well on carpet and hard surfaces. As a family with girls who have long hair the tangle free roller is very helpful and I haven’t had any hair get caught up in it yet. I was very impressed by the amount of dirt that was picked up out of my carpet, as someone who vacuums fairly regularly I was shocked by how much dirt, dust and hair this vacuum picked up. I didn’t think I would really use the lift-off feature, but now that I have the vacuum I am finding all sorts of reasons to use it from cleaning spider webs off of the ceiling, vacuuming fan blades and dirt off of window tracks. The lift-off feature makes using the hand held attachments so much easier, I can just pick it up with one hand and carry it to where I want to be. The vacuum has a nice long cord, but I do wish it was a retractable cord rather than one that needs to be wound up after each use. Over all I think this vacuum is a win, I plan to have my kids do more vacuuming over the summer and I know that they will have no issues with this machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom with two kids, two dogs, a 4 bedroom house, and a private office, I basically vacuum every single day. This vacuum packs quite a punch. Weighing in under 20 pounds, the CleanView is easy to maneuver and get from room to room. The accessories attach to the unit itself, which is probably my favorite thing about this vacuum. I don't have to dig through a bag of attachments, half of which I found useless. This vacuum doesn't have too many attachments and they're all actually helpful. My first use of this vacuum was to collect some cheerios off the couch and floor. While this vacuum would probably not replace my hand vac for these kinds of messes, testing it for cleaning up a small mess did demonstrate the ease of getting it out, setting it up, using it and putting it away. We used it the following day to clean up our new office space that has laminate flooring and some area rugs. This vacuum transitioned well between the two floor types and when a corner of a floppy area rug got caught, it was quick and easy to yoink out. We used it at home on our carpet and I thought it did a better job than our Shark canister vacuum and Dyson stick vacuum. Overall, it's a super solid vacuum, seems sturdy and long-lasting without being overbearing or difficult. Would highly recommend.

It has a bit of a narrower base which is nice for getting in harder-to-reach places. Love that the on/off switch is straight forward (off, no beater bar, or beater bar). It’s got strong suction and easily vacuums up the daily messes that happen in my house with two toddlers. The cord is long enough to clean the whole living room without moving plugs, tank is easy to empty, and the liftoff feature is super helpful for cleaning the stairs. I love the look of the vacuum and my toddler is especially fond of the blue (his favorite color). We also have some remodeling going on right now, and are pretty much using the vacuum daily to help keep the dust and dirt to a minimum, and it performs great every time. Love this product and the Bissell brand and definitely would recommend!

I did think the canister was a little large, but I do have a dog and carpet areas to vacuum so it would hold a lot. When using the vacuum, I was immediately impressed with the strong suction power. Having little kids and a dog, it definitely collected a lot more than my previous vacuum. I vacuumed on carpet and hardwood surfaces. The best part was how easy and smooth it was going around and under furniture. It made vacuuming effortlessly!

My first impression was that the vacuum was very light; I didn't know how well it would perform. The wobbly rotating took some getting used to, but I like its functionality. I cleaned leftover kinetic sand from a rug in the living room and leftover crumbs from the hardwood floor in our dining room. It worked great! I was impressed with everything it picked up. I like the low-profile head that lets you easily maneuver under tables and chairs. I like the genius lift-off tank portion that makes it even lighter for vacuuming stairs and high areas. That was probably my favorite feature; it's so versatile. Emptying the canister was pretty easy. I wish it had hands-free emptying, but it's not a deal breaker. I liked how simple this vacuum was; it had features that were easy to use, and I didn't need to read the whole owner's manual to figure it out. It was very intuitive.
