I appreciate that you can see what you are picking up as you use the vacuum, so that you definitely know when it's time to empty out the waste. In my experience, the Max worked well for pet hair all over, and efficiently vacuumed up tracked dust, earth and debris on front hall/area rugs and wood floors. Because of its size and weight, I personally didn't enjoy using it on the stairs -- I do most of my cleaning with a baby sleeping in a carrier these days, so this likely affected my comfort with lugging this particular vacuum up and down stairs. For level spaces, this vacuum does the job in a fluid and easy manner.

I tried it out on my rug that had been vacuumed the precious day- and the amount of dust it picked up was amazing! You could see that there was a thick layer of grey in the drum just from my small rug! I went vacuum happy and went and vacuumed all the carpets! I am very pleased with this vacuum to say the least! There are so many cool features that make it user friendly. The suction is strong. The roller picks up all the crumbs like a broom would, closer to the floor than a standard vacuum. You can easily remove the wand woth one hand, and the wand itself is long so you can reach under beds or high up as well! There is another small turbo brush that is like a mini broom to attach to the wand. I'm imagining that being very helpful cleaning my kids crumbs in the back of my car. This vacuum is great for any household upkeep and any surface!

I can't even make this up, I was on my way out the door thinking what am I going to do until we can get another one and boom, there was a Clean view Max Lift Off vacuum on my porch. Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me one complimentary for my honest opinion and honestly I'm baffled at the timing but extremely grateful. I have an all carpet basement and some rugs but also a lot of wood floors as well and wanted something that would work well with both surfaces. Have yet to test it on the wood but it did well in the basement. Takes up a tad bit more room than our previous one, but it definitely gets the job done and is not heavy or overly bulky and I can use it for my whole house and the stairs so I'm pretty satisfied with the product and the timing was impeccable.

We recently moved, and with having to clean up the old house AND clean up after renovations at the new house, my 13 year old vacuum finally died. The timing of receiving this new vacuum was perfect, as I was researching and planning to purchase a new vacuum within the next month. I've been using it for about two weeks now and love it! The all black design with touches of bright blue is sleek and clean looking. Suction is great, and it's so easy to use that my 6 year old has been vacuuming the living room carpet and using the wand to clean up crumbs all by himself. We have two long haired dogs, three kids 6 and younger, and my husband is a farmer- so lots of dirt tracked in, crumby messes galore, and dog hair everywhere. This vacuum gets it all up on our laminate floor and our carpeted areas. The wand is probably my favorite feature with the large angled handle making it easy to hold for long periods. I do wish the hose was a bit longer, but as the bottom beater section comes off and I can drag the canister around to gain that extra reach, it's not a deal breaker for me. I've not used it for the car yet, but being able to take that bottom off is going to be amazing for vacuuming out all the nooks and crannies in the suburban and the kids car seats! The cannister is easy to dump out after use, and the filters easy access to replace. No need to even glace through the manual- everything is simple to use. Overall this is a great workhorse vacuum for an active (messy) family!

It’s lightweight enough to carry from room to room, but still feels sturdy and reliable. The modern design is a nice touch, and it comes with enough attachments to make me feel like I might get ahead of the mess someday. It handled everything from crushed-up cereal in the carpet to dog hair in places I swore that I had already cleaned, even if just once upon a time. Even stairs weren’t a hassle, thanks to the detachable canister—easily my favorite feature! I’ve used it on vinyl tile, rugs, and carpet with no issue. Next up: tackling the van. Wish me luck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box, I absolutely loved the design of the vacuum! It’s a nice, slightly compact, size. The deep blue with black and dark gray of the “see through” canister go so well together. I love how easily the top half detaches from the main base for higher cleaning, and how everything is clearly labeled for use. No questioning what went where or how to use. The top half is also pretty light! I can easily manage it holding with one hand. Used for cleansing carpet, laminate and the couches; it did a great job on all! Mostly pet hair and small dirt, but our dog also loves to pull the trash can out and apart if left alone and it did a great job of cleaning up the mess (including all of the tiny coffee grounds). The size of the vacuum has been my favorite feature so far. It fits so nicely in the closet without taking too much space and with it being somewhat compact the weight is so easy to manage as well with carrying up and down the stairs and taken apart!

This new one picked up dirt and dust from floors in non-used areas that had been vacuumed relatively recently. I was shocked how much it picked up as I thought the area was pretty clean! It has tons of power, but doesn't take a lot of strength or energy to use. It is much lighter than it looks and manuveres really well. My 7 year old was able to help me and had fund using it and the accessory brush. The CleanView® Max Lift-Off not only keeps up with my former favorite, but actually out performs it. When I first started using the CleanView® Max Lift-Off I wanted to see what it could handle. I dumped some dried cereal directly from the box right onto the carpet, it sucked it up no problem. I then decided to step on said cereal and crush it into a tiny pieces. It sucked it up no problem. Then I decided to do it on the bare floor. I'm not sure how many can agree with me, but the bare floor claim that many makers claim their vacuum does, it does anything but. So I decided to do the serial test on my linoleum, tiled, and hardwood floors. With minimal effort, the mess was no longer there. Did I mention how this vacuum is so extremely lightweight? If not, I am now! Not in the mood to pick up chairs to get around things or move furniture? No need to worry about that because the CleanView® Max Lift-Off has an ever so smooth transitioning swivel head that makes it so easy to get right into tight corners without having to move everything to do so. When all is said and done, Bissell has definitely gained a new customer! Not only do I highly recommend this vacuum, but I fully support the claims that this vacuum makes because it does exactly what it says it does with no questions asked. Oh, psst! I completely forgot to mention the Clearview. You can see everything that it sucks up as well as having the ability to know when it needs to be emptied without having to take everything apart, that is complete convenience that I for one most certainly appreciate!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, I had a mixed experience with this vacuum. It has some great features that really stood out, but also a few tweaks I would make. In terms of look and design, the vacuum is sleek and modern. It has a compact build that doesn't take up much storage space, and the detachable base is a clever touch. I really liked the feature where the base can disconnect — it made it easier to clean stairs and tight corners without hauling the whole vacuum around. The spinning attachment head was another favorite of mine; it did a good job loosening up dirt and sucking up pet hair, especially on carpeted surfaces. When it comes to cleaning power, the vacuum definitely had strong suction. It helped me tackle everyday messes like dust, crumbs, and pet hair with no problem. I used it on a variety of surfaces — hardwood, low-pile carpet, and area rugs — and it performed well across the board in terms of picking up debris. Unfortunately, I did run into a couple of issues. The vacuum was surprisingly difficult to maneuver, especially in tighter areas. I found myself having to wrestle with it a bit more than I'd like. Another downside was the base spin brush — it kept getting jammed, which slowed down my cleaning routine and was frustrating to fix. All in all, this vacuum has some solid cleaning power and smart features, but the handling issues and brush jams might be a dealbreaker for some. If the maneuverability was improved, it would be a much stronger contender.
