But the first time I used this vacuum—literally the day after I had vacuumed with my old one—I was shocked by how much dirt, sand, and who-knows-what else it pulled up. Living beachside in Florida, sand is basically a member of the family, but this vacuum showed me how much was still lurking in my floors. I was seriously impressed with its power. Design-wise, it looks fine—not super flashy, but it gets the job done. I was surprised by how heavy it is, especially compared to my old vacuum. At first, I thought the weight would keep me from using it regularly, but I’ve actually gone back to it every time instead of my old one. Even more surprising: my 7- and 9-year-olds are able to use it just fine, despite the weight. They can maneuver it easily enough, which is a win for me. As for cleaning power—yeah, this thing sucks (in the best way). We have three kids and a dog, and our floors take a beating. Between backyard adventures and baseball fields, there’s always dirt, sand, and grass getting tracked in. This vacuum handles it all without a problem. I’ve used it on tile, plush carpet, and low-pile area rugs, and it’s done a great job across the board. I really appreciate being able to adjust the spin and suction depending on the surface—it makes a big difference. My favorite feature, though, has to be the attachments. We’ve got big sliding glass doors, and those crevices collect everything—especially during lovebug season (Florida people, you know what I mean). The nozzles make it easy to get into those tight spots and suck up all the bugs and debris. Honestly, it's been a game-changer.

Not only is the design modern, sleek and aesthetically pleasing but is super easy to use. We have a mixture of laminate and carpet in our home and the CleanView® Max Lift-Off works on both! My husband was just as excited about the CleanView® Max Lift-Off as I was. His was pleasantly surprised by the button to lock the bristles up or down. We also enjoyed how it can become a hand vacuum. The only caveat to that was if you’re going to be carrying it around for an extended period of time, it may become a bit heavy. The CleanView® Max Lift-Off moves around with ease and glides over both carpet and laminate not missing a single crumb. With my old vacuum, I would have to go over some spots on my carpet multiple times, especially with having two toddlers and a pup. The CleanView® Max Lift-Off also got all the dog hair! This vacuum has saved so me so much time. It also comes with attachments which helped me get all the crumbs from between my couch cushions from when the kids have snuck snacks into the living room. I love the versatility of this vacuum and how it makes our busy, hectic, toddler/pup having lives easier. I highly recommend!

We have a combination of hardwoods and carpet, a dog who's a moderate shedder, and two teens so there's lots of in and out in our house and floors get dirty quickly. The CleanView Max Lift Off is a solid workhouse of a vacuum that has great suction power. We run a robot vac most days and I was astounded at what this vac picked up off the floors. I used it all over my house and every time I left a room I was shocked how much dirt was in the canister. The Lift Off feature is definitely a plus. I used it most for vacuuming flights of stairs. It's really easy to lift off the main canister and not be limited by the plug. I also used it to reach a high shelf in my closet. It's super useful if you have high or tight spaces where you need to maneuver without a clunky machine The vacuum also comes with a great spinning attachment which sucks up pet hair like nobody's business. I used it to clean our couch and it looked like brand new when I was done! The only reason this gets a 4 instead of a 5 is because it doesn't come with a retractable cord. If you're vacuuming lots of rooms, gathering up the cord each time you have to move is a pain. If that doesn't bother you, I'd highly recommend it.

Previously, I was using a high-end vacuum that my husband had invested in, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissel CleanView Max LiftOff is a really nicely designed vacuum and it performs well. I use it on hardwood floors and carpet mostly and it does well on both surfaces, if I had ALL hard floors there may be other options I would consider, but for a home with multiple surface types this is a great choice. You can turn the brush on/off and change the setting for higher loft carpet or thin carpets/hard surfaces, so you really can set it to best suit your needs. It’s not a super light weight vacuum, so if you need something specifically for lightness this wouldn’t be my choice, but it’s also not overly heavy. I found it pretty easy to push, even on carpet, and the extra capabilities of the lift off feature and the hose/wand make it understandable that it’s not an ultra light appliance (it also picked up more stuff than my lightweight cordless vacuum, so there’s definitely a difference in performance)! I love the lift off feature to carry the vacuum around to different things if you aren’t cleaning just floors, great for when I vacuum furniture or stairs, and I can do the “lift off” with one hand and foot while standing at the vacuum, very used friendly. The hose easily disconnects to use it like a typical vacuum hose, or there is a quick release for the “wand” which is very handy also! I love that there is a place on the vacuum itself to store the hose attachments, they aren’t just tossed into the bottom of the closet to search for later. Emptying the canister and getting to the filters to clean them is also easy.

The design of the vacuum is sleek and intuitive. I really appreciate the blue color as it is cheerful and fun design choice. It makes the task of vacuuming a cheerful experience. This vacuum has superb cleaning power it outperforms other vacuums by far. I enjoyed the ease of use of the attachment tools and the way the tools attach so easily and are effective while using. The canister is a good size and so easy to throw away the debris without clogs or having to touch the mess. Clean View Max Lift Off tackled dirt, pet hair and daily messes like cereal bits, crumbs and fat to day items that come in a busy household with pets and children. It was very efficient in cleaning hardwood floors, carpet, area rugs and tile floors. So easy to have and use to help ease day to day life messes. I loved the power of this vacuum in such a usable design and size. This vacuum easily covered all the cleaning needs in my home. I used the attachments for upholstery and baseboards and it performed effectively. I take my time when researching products and this fit all my criteria and surprised my pleasantly with its power and size.

After I vacuumed with my old vacuum, I put my new CleanView Max Lift-Off to the test and re-vacuumed the same area. The amount of dirt and pet hair it picked up was unbelievable! I used this vacuum on hardwood, area rugs and fully carpeted areas and it proved to work great on all surfaces! I love the attachments it comes with and where they are actually stored on the vacuum itself! Overall it took about a minute out of the box to put together and all of the functions are easy to use. The vacuum is pretty lightweight and easy to transport up and down stairs for multi level houses. The compartment of dirt is easy to empty and the filter is easy to access and clean. Overall, I love the power and suction that this vacuum cleans with to pick up all the dog and cat hair in my house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the CleanView Max Lift-Off for a couple weeks now, and it offers a great suction power, ideal for carpeted and hard floor. I have used it primarily on mid-long carpets and it cleans them deeply thanks to the brush and the suction power. On the weakness side, the lift-away technology is very convenient, but the vacuum lacks the ability to go under furnitures. Also, the build doesn't feel as sturdy as the competitors as most of the vacuum is made of plastic. This might impact the longevity of the vacuum, but makes it lighter to transport.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum worked really well on the carpet and hardwoods of our home. We don’t have dogs or cats, but rather pet birds. Their feathers and down float in the air to every room of the house, so having a vacuum that can handle it is important. It is not too heavy and is easy to maneuver. I like how easy to empty the waste cup is to empty! My only critique is that the power cord seems a little short, so you may have to shift where it’s plugged as you clean more often than expected. Overall I would recommend this model!

Thinking this vacuum is designed for pet hair and messes and we also have kids, this would be for us! We have several toddlers, girls with long hair and a dog! We took the vacuum out of the box, easily put it together, and we're able to vacuum within 5 minutes! This thing has POWER! O...M...GEE! We got so much off our first floor alone, 2 carpeted rooms, 2 tile/laminate rooms and a marble foyer and hall! We FILLED that poor vacuum! It has no clue what was coming it's way! Lots of crumbs, dust bunnies, HAIR(long and short) holy cannoli! The only reason for 4 starts vs 5, I felt like I was "working"my arms as I vacuumed. Yes it was on the correct floor setting, even had the hubby check, but man, my poor arm had a workout! I will say, the swivel in the handle, making it easy to go around things/corners, was super nice! Id highly recommend this if your arms are in good shape, don't get it for granny!
