This new one picked up dirt and dust from floors in non-used areas that had been vacuumed relatively recently. I was shocked how much it picked up as I thought the area was pretty clean! It has tons of power, but doesn't take a lot of strength or energy to use. It is much lighter than it looks and manuveres really well. My 7 year old was able to help me and had fund using it and the accessory brush. I did it on low pile carpet and cannot wait to try it on more surfaces and spaces as I have time. *I received this product to test from Stellar Product Testing Panel*

Pros + large cannister capacity + powerful suction because corded, but not the most powerful of all corded vacuums + easy to maneuver/turn with 180 degree articulation between upright body and floor roller Cons - cannot vacuum in lower clearance areas like under chairs which means it definitely cannot vacuum under coffee tables - heavy for what it is - hose tension is too much. it wants to snap back after very little hose stretch so my wrist gets tired fighting to stretch the hose and maneuver the attachment - the 4" wide Turbo brush attachment doesn't seem powered. It seems to only turn using the air movement into the hose so it stops turning while vacuuming the pet bed - hose clips to the main body but seems more like an afterthought (photo attached) - Lift-off feature sounds good, but doesn't come through in its execution. Most of the weight is in the lift-off body. If you set down the lift-off body, it will tip with minimal hose extension so you must hold it in your off hand the entire time. That limits the scenarios where the lift-off functionality is actually useful compared to just detaching the wand. Mostly only practical for stairs. Even then, it's more that it makes stairs less of a pain for a corded vacuum; still not the best experience compared to a cordless stick vacuum. Also--after removing the lift-off body from the roller base, the wand cannot attach to the roller base directly so there's no workaround to the canister being too bulky to reach under chairs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell Cleanview Max Lift Off upright vacuum as a part of the Stellar product testing panel. I'm not one to read directions and it took me exactly 5 minutes to put this bad boy together. So my first positive is that this vacuum is super easy to snap together and use right out of the box. One thing that really impressed me is the attachments connect it right to the vacuum, which is a huge plus to me as I always lose any attachments with vacuum cleaner. There are two settings on this vacuum want to use on carpet and one when vacuuming hard or delicate surfaces. This was another positive for me as I was able to easily switch back-and-forth between my carpet at living room and my hardwood hallway. The section power on this vacuum for both of the hardwood floor and the carpet were wonderful. I couldn't believe how much was in the tank after I thought that my carpet was pretty clean. The quick release button for the wand was super easy to reach corners and place right back onto the vacuum. It has a really large dirt tank which I appreciate because I don't have to keep emptying it over and over I really like the tangle free brush roll because I don't have to cut the hair out out of the vacuum. Besides the suction power, my favorite part of this vacuum was really that the attachment connect right to the vacuum as I always lose them and I always wondered why more vacuums didn't do this. Overall, this is a really great vacuum and compares it very well to my previously owned shark.

This new vacuum could not have come at a better time. Our old vacuum was on its last leg and I was in the market for a new one. We have 7 kids, ages 15 down to 1 so it's not uncommon for us to vacuum 2-3 times in a day. In my search for a replacement, I was excited to see that the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off checked off ALL of my boxes. Here's a few of my most loved features.. *For a full sized vacuum, this one is on the lighter side. It's sturdy and light enough my kids can use it. *I love the HEPA filter. We try to keep the house as tidy as possible (it's definitely lived in, but clean). I feel good knowing it's filtering airborne allergens so my family can't breathe easier. *The dirt collection canister empties easily with one hand so no extra messes to clean up. *The cord is longer than many of our past vacuums which makes cleaning from room to room much simpler. *With 4 girls in the house, we are always shedding our long hair. This vacuum has a no-tangle roller brush so we don't have to worry about the brush getting locked up with hair. *The filters are washable, which makes this vacuum more cost efficient for our large family. *We use this vacuum literally in every room in our home. Kitchen, bedrooms, dining room and even the bathroom! It works great with a toggle from carpet to hard floor! This is definitely one of the best vacuums we've owned over the years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off that I received as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, is a great vacuum! The first thing I used it on was my stairs using the Turbo Brush Tool. Its great for stairs as you can remove the base to make the vacuum lighter to carry up and down the stairs while vacuuming. The turbo brush tool made my carpet feel super clean. The suction on the vacuum is great and powerful but not too powerful that it makes it hard to push. I used the whole vacuum to clean the carpet in my upstairs rooms. I noticed a huge difference in the tangle free roller compared to other vacuums that I have had. The tangle free roller really helped get up hair and thread from my sewing room without it getting stuck in the roller. I really enjoy that the dust catcher is clear so I can see when it is full and how much dust and debris the vacuum picked up. I love the handle on the vacuum as well. It felt great in my hand and my hand didn't get fatigued while cleaning. I used it on both carpet, hard vinyl flooring and my area rug and it worked great on all 3 surfaces! The only issue I had was with the cord moving around while vacuuming. it has a slot for it to rest in near the handle but I could not get it to stay there. Definitely not a deal breaker on this vacuum though! This is a great vacuum cleaner for anyone looking to keep their house clean!

The suction power is strong, and it handles pet hair and debris on both carpet and hardwood floors with ease. I also liked the see-through canister—it was satisfying to see all the junk it picked up and reassuring to know it was working effectively. The lift-off canister feature is especially convenient for stairs and furniture, making cleaning more versatile and less of a chore. I used the hose with the attachment for hard-to-reach places, and it worked really well for getting into tight corners and edges. The vacuum is relatively lightweight and easy to maneuver. I also appreciate the large dust bin capacity, which means fewer trips to the trash can during big cleanups. The only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the power cord could be a little longer. It’s not a major issue, but I do find myself switching outlets more often than I’d prefer during a full-house clean. Also, a light on the bottom would be very convenient. All in all, this is a solid vacuum with great features at a fair price. I’d definitely recommend it to others looking for a reliable, powerful machine with added convenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I really like the Bissell CleanView Max. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and has strong suction. I’ve used it on hardwood floors, high-pile carpet, and low-pile rugs—it transitions smoothly between all three, which was a pleasant surprise. The design made it easy to clean our couch and curtains, too. Assembly was a breeze, and emptying the canister is quick and mess-free. The almost-modular design makes it incredibly functional. One of my favorite features is the lift-away option—it made vacuuming the couch much easier without having to awkwardly drag the entire unit around. I also really appreciate how the hose separates for extension use. It's a much more convenient and user-friendly design compared to traditional vacuums, making it easier to tackle baseboards, corners, and furniture. That said, a few small cons: 1. I couldn’t find a cord holder clip—maybe I missed it, but if it’s not there, that’s a little inconvenient. 2. I wish it had a retractable cord instead of a manual wind-up. 3. Some attachments could be better. The pet hair tool, for example, doesn’t spin very well when used on upholstery like a couch. Despite those minor issues, this vacuum delivers great value and functionality. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an effective vacuum with thoughtful design features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CleanView® Max Lift-Off is a great tool in my cleaning arsenal. The design is sleek, and the vacuum is very lightweight for a non-stick vacuum. I have all the surfaces in my house: hardwood, tile, and four different kinds of carpet. It did a great job cleaning the hard surfaces and the low-pile carpet. I did, however, struggle with the high-pile carpet in my bedroom. The vacuum was more difficult to push, and it did not pivot well at all. It didn't turn on a dime on the low-pile carpet and the hard surfaces, but it moved a lot better, pivoting to get in all the nooks and crannies. It did well in my daughter’s room, which has the low-pile carpet, and due to her propensity for art projects, she always has pieces of paper and other craft objects littering the ground. The vacuum had no problem picking these up. My favorite vacuum feature is the lift-off canister to empty the dirt. I can lift the canister with one hand, and with the push of a button, I can empty the canister into the trash. I also like the hose feature with the attachments. It's great for cleaning my stairs and my baseboards as well! I know this vacuum is built to last.

Our other vacuum is 12 years old, and like other appliances in the home, has reached its limits. I appreciate the compactness of the machine, and takes us less space than I imagined. The cleaning power is great; we used it to clean up pet hair and dust bunnies on our hardwood floors; swept up messes on our kitchen linoleum; under the couch cushion; and even used it in our car, in between and under the seats. While the machine is branded for pets, I appreciate its versatility and portability in cleaning up any mess we tried. My favorite feature is the "no more hair wrap". You never realize how many longer debris items get caught in your vacuum cleaner's cylinder, and this machine rings true to the advertising. I didn't have to spend an extra 10 minutes unraveling and cutting out debris in order to continue cleaning. I would highly recommend this product for anyone with kids, pets, or for folks who have a variety of surfaces to clean.

For better or worse, i bought into their Pet eraser advertising and, with my long haired dog shedding everywhere, I decided to give the brand a shot when my old vac finally quit on me. Thus far, they haven't let me down. I think that the Bissell upright vacuums unconventional design is very well throught out and useful. The fact that the Handle detaches and becomes a suction wand is genius, and the little release valve hose at the back end of the bottom brush area provides an easy way to clean out the most common clog point in a vacuum that I have found. My biggest gripe with the Pet hair eraser model ive had is that it was not easy to use to clean my carpeted stairwell. The clean view liftoff I received as part of the Stellar testing panel, FIXES THIS PROBLEM. The new design feature that allows the bagless motor section to literally “lift off” from the floor brushes makes the remaining wand much easier to carry arround while you use the wand handle to get at cieling cobwebs or, yes, the carpeted stairwell (using the motorized brush handle attachment to the cleaning wand). Works great on all carpet and hard floor surfaces ive tried it on so far. The Cleanview has a powerful motor that translates into efficient suction for cleaning no matter how you are using it, The bagless cannister design is easy to empty and reattach to the vac. Assembly was a breeze. Definitely going to recommend to family and friends in the market for a new cleaning tool.
