[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've struggled to find a consistent upright vacuum, going for a few different brands but never feeling fully satisfied in the clean level, often having to go over the same carpet a number of times. Then, I was given this clean view upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It easily picks up the dirt and pet hair from any floor (I used it on both my carpet floors and hardwood) without having to go over the area multiple times. Also, it seems to pick up more than other vacuums. The attached picture is how much it picked up from a single 8x8 carpet AFTER I went over it with my old vacuum first! The detachable hose includes two easy to use and store attachments that work well for couches and corners that the main unit can't reach. I have two cats, so being able to clean a couch is crucial for me. So far I'm very pleased with this vacuum and get to enjoy a much cleaner home!

I don’t consider myself incredibly handy or savvy with assembling things, but I put this together in under 3 minutes easily. I think the design is super solid, the tools make sense, and the suction is great! The cord wraps easily and conveniently and is a great length. I have three kids so there is no shortage of messes to clean up (food crumbs, dirt trekked in, etc) and this vacuum has handled it all on both hardwood and carpet. Overall I’ve been super impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this upright vacuum as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and overall, it's been a solid performer as far as cleaning ability, but has several design flaws that affected the ease of use. Assembly was quick and simple—it came in six pieces and took about three minutes to put together without the instruction book. Its sleek, slim design makes it easy to maneuver around tight spaces in the home. The vacuum includes a wand and Turbo Brush attachment, which is great for cleaning spots like couch cushions. However, the hose on the wand is quite short, which limits its reach and convenience. One feature is the lift-off portable option that allows you to detach the wand and dust bin from the base. It's a good idea in theory, especially for stairs, but I found it a bit heavy and awkward—especially with the short wand length. It wasn't much easier than just carrying the whole vacuum up the stairs. Another design flaw I noticed is the electrical cord placement on the right side of the vacuum. I vacuum with my right hand and manage the cord with my left so I constantly had to step over or swing the cord around to keep it from getting in the way. As for performance, the vacuum handles cleaning well. With a toddler and three shedding pets, it's kept up nicely across tile, rugs, and plush carpet. Overall, I was impressed with the cleaning power, but the design flaws limited the full potential of the vacuum.

It is relatively lightweight and is lighter than my other brand name vacuum that is similar. The look and design is pretty basic and is the size of a standard full size vacuum so can't hide it away. Cleaning power and suction was great. Didn't have to go over places twice and really enjoyed the clear view suction, the fact you can turn the brush on or off, and the different levels for hard vs carpeted surfaces. I did a deep clean on my living room and kitchen to pick up so much dog hair and kid crumbs. The wand and lift away made things easier to get under the couches and appliances. I love how the extra tools fit right on the vacuum sides as I always never know where to store those. Tangle free brush seemed to work well although time will tell if all the long girl hair will overtake it. I mostly used on hardwood and non plush rugs and the swivel at the bottom worked really well and better than my other vacuums. Overall pretty standard, basic vacuum and I will be reaching for this over my old vacuum for its lightweightness, easy swivel, and the fact the tools all fit on the vacuum. Oh, and I also loved the cleaning brush for the couches which had great suction that worked really well. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this vacuum! I used it right after my cleaning service came, and it picked up a ton of dirt off of the carpet still. I used it on all surfaces (hard, carpet, stairs, etc.) and it did a wonderful job of cleaning up messes quickly. It's also super sharp and modern looking, and looks great sitting in the laundry room! The best part was the ability to lift off the top and use it independently for hard to reach places. It's so much easier to move around the house like this when doing baseboards, window sills, and other hard to reach places. The only ding for this vacuum is that it has a cord, but that does get you a lot more power, which is a valid tradeoff.

It is easy to assemble, easy to use, and efficiently picks up pet hair and dirt from both carpets and hardwood floors. The suction is excellent, the vacuum is lightweight, cord is lengthy and the canister is very easy to clean! It also saves me from having to purchase replacement bags! I love the swivel head as it makes getting under the kitchen table and couch very easy. It is powerful, but not too noisy! It also has an attractive design. I would highly recommend this product. Thus far, it is the best vacuum I've ever owned. 5/5 stars!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m pleasantly surprised! I have 6 kids, 3 dogs and a bit of OCD. Lol. When I say I like it clean, I mean it, Just ask my children! I have owned and or tested so many different vacuums in my time and I have to say I was really impressed with this little machine. It’s super easy to assemble and use. The suction power is amazing it picks up every last strand of fur and spec of dirt. I have low pile carpets and as you can see in my photo plush shag carpets as well. We also have a ton or area rugs and I’ve even used it on my hardwood and tile floors. There’s nothing this little thing can’t tackle. I love how light and compact it is, we have three floors and the kids can carry it around with ease! The clear view tank is so nice, especially when little toys get sucked up accidentally. The lift away feature is perfect for the stairs and drapes. It’s so great, I honestly end up using this vacuum over my other very expensive brands. To me the hepa filter is such a nice feature and something I look forward to when purchasing. This is a great vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am giving the Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off Vacuum 5 stars because I truly can't find any flaws with it! The overall look and design is very nice, and it performs wonderfully. I felt that the cleaning power was excellent. I loved the Turbo-brush attachment which was extremely powerful for hard to reach/ small areas such as my staircase. I have a combination of carpet, wood floors, and area rugs in my house, and I felt that it did equally well on both carpeted and hard surfaces. The vacuum feels high quality, and not too heavy to push. I just hosted a large gathering at my house and my floors were a mess afterwards, but this vacuum got the job done! One of my favorite things about this vacuum was that there was almost no hair on the brush roll after vacuuming my entire house! I have always struggled with other vacuums getting hair stuck in the brush roll, but not with this vacuum. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this awesome vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum looks pretty nice and is easily used in different ways by removing the wand from the base or using its attachments. It is quite effective at picking up debris, including pet hair from fabric surfaces and rugs. Using the turbo max attachment was super helpful on my furniture. The little extension wand for narrow spaces was not long enough for me, but I did appreciate the brush head on it to help get pet hair off of things. The ability to change the settings for different floor surfaces, and for whether you use the roller brush in the base, was also very helpful. It was very easy to detach and empty the container into the trash. What makes me disappointed in the vacuum is how clunky it felt to me. It is definitely heavy and was a workout to use it for an extended time. It is pretty easy to turn, but the vacuum tends to go back into the vertical position and I then have to manually adjust it back into an angled position for maneuvering the vacuum. When using the wand detached, the hose was very stiff and didn't want to extend, which then meant that unless I held the vacuum in place it wanted to pull over and follow the wand. It actually did this during my first use and fell over onto my ankle, which was very painful due to the weight. Overall, I just found it a lot heavier and more difficult to maneuver than my old canister vacuum, which was disappointing. However, I do appreciate that it seems very effective, especially with picking up pet hair from fabric surfaces. So, I give a middling rating to this vacuum.
