Their feathers and down float in the air to every room of the house, so having a vacuum that can handle it is important. It is not too heavy and is easy to maneuver. I like how easy to empty the waste cup is to empty! My only critique is that the power cord seems a little short, so you may have to shift where it’s plugged as you clean more often than expected. Overall I would recommend this model!

It has a really sleek design and is compact enough to fit in a smaller closet, but has all the power and gadgets of a full sized vacuum. We have a different vacuum that we’ve loved for years, but the CleanView has won me over. It has much better suction and better swivel around the base - very handy for cleaning at odd angles. We dog sat for our friends when they went on vacation and the vacuum helped us easily clean pet hair and dander. It worked well on wood flooring, area rugs, and tile. I also used it to deep clean my mattresses and curtains. I really love the small brush attachment and used it to clear the layer of dust on my baseboards. Another fantastic feature is the removable handle, which my six year old loves to use with the attachments. My favorite feature is that the body of the vacuum can be lifted off the base with the touch of a button! This was really handy for sucking up dust off of higher, harder to reach places.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not used a vacuum with in over 5 years. However, cordless vacuums often lack the power needed for debris such as dog hair. I recently adopted a yellow lab and now have A LOT of dog hair to deal with. My house is a combination of hard wood floors, area rugs, and wall to wall carpeted areas. The vacuum came in several pieces and the instructions were easy to use. The only thing that they didn't show was that you can store both attachments on the vacuum when not using (the instructions only showed one storage area, later I discovered the second area). The vacuum does have a cord and standard cord storage spot. I do wish it had in internal storage area where you press a lever, and it winds it up. The vacuum is pretty light for how much power it has, and it is very easy to transition from hard woods to low-pile rugs to high-pile rugs. I have a rug in my garage that accumulates a lot of dirt, pine needles, dog hair since it is the first stop before you enter my house. The cordless vacuums I have do not get the rug all the way clean. This vacuum easily removed everything! The 2 attachments are easy to access from their storage areas and equally easy to use. Emptying the canister is similar to other vacuums I've used, you just use a button to remove the section, hold it over a garbage can, and release the dirt straight in. I haven't needed to clean the filters yet, but the instructions indicate that you can wash and re-use the filters which I like better than having to replace them. I gave the vacuum 4 out of 5 stars because of the way the cord is designed (you have to keep moving it out of the way when you are vacuuming and it seemed somewhat shorter than I would have liked). Also, a lot of other vacuums I have used recently have some sort of light near the front so that you can really see the dirt you are going to pick up, this one did not. The front bottom part of the vacuum is also pretty high, so it is hard to reach under furniture, appliances, etc. All in all, I would say this a sturdy vacuum with great power to dirt and pet hair, easy to put together and use, but more of the standard bulky design without any frilly upgrades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am overall very pleased with the Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum. I previously had a Bissell vacuum and was not expecting the quality and power of this machine. As soon as it arrived, I took it out of the box and tried it on a bedroom carpet that had just been vacuumed the previous day. I was amazed at how much dirt was picked up and how clean the carpet looked. The suction and pick up on this are superior to any machine I have ever used. It is easy to maneuver and works on both thick carpet and our tiled floors. Since receiving vacuum, I have used it for my weekly cleaning and also some projects like under the bed and our mattress and box spring. These photos show how much this vacuum picked up on a carpet that I had cleaned the previous day with another machine. I was amazed at how much dust and lint I was missing with my old machine. The only improvements that I would suggest are a headlight and a longer plug-in cord. It seems rather short, and I found myself having to find a new wall outlet more often than I would have with my previous machine. Overall, even with these suggestions, I would definitely recommend this vacuum.

The lift-off feature is essential for the stairs and high to reach places. I ran this vacuum over my medium pile rug, and then did a second run with another vacuum afterwards. The Max Lift-Off got up EVERYTHING--I didn't pick up anything in the second run, which was all the evidence needed to prove that it was getting the job done effectively. It worked well on my rugs as well as hardwood areas. The hose and attachments make spilled food and crumbs a breeze. The rug setting grabs cat and dog hair. It maneuvered well around corners and into small spaces. I'm glad to have this for my everyday cleaning.

The design was sleek and overall the suction was excellent - on tile, wood, and thin rugs it was a total beast. However, the vaccum struggled a bit on thicker carpet/rugs and took some strength - happy to get the workout in while cleaning. My favorite feature was the on/off switch which made it was super easy to use and switch between on, off, and brush roll.

The width is shorter, but it makes up for it with suction power. We run a robot vacuum daily, this picked up an absurd amount of dirt after it!

Ome of my main issues with my previous vacuum was all the kickback of dirt on hard floors. With this vacuums setting for hard floors, the brush does not spin so there's no kickback. It is very powerful and picks up quickly and efficiently. It even pulls dirt from underneath areas that the vacuum can't reach like the edge of the dresser or stove. I was also blown away at how good it made my carpets look. It made them look so plush and brand new again. I actually dont think they looked this good when they were new. The attachments are also extremely powerful. I've never had a vacuum that could pick up cat hair completely, but this one does. The vacuum is fairly quiet. The turbo brush is insanely loud, but it's OK because it gets the job done very well. I love that the vacuum detaches and can be carried easily upstairs or reach high areas. The one complaint I have is that it is pretty top heavy which made my hand ache quite a lot, but after using it a few times that went away and I got used to it. Other than that, it's amazing and perfect for households that have a combination of hard floors and carpet. Super pleased!!

It's particularly well-suited for homes with pets, offering features aimed at effective hair removal and multi-surface cleaning. While there are no pets in my family, we do have a 2.5 year old toddler and there are lots of messes. Some of the things we loved about the vacuum is its strong suction power and the lift-off feature of the detachable canister. In our last vacuum it felt as if we were going over the same spot multiple times and the debris was just not being sucked up. The CleanView’s suction power is so strong, I can get dirt out of the most hard to reach corners and crevices without any hassle. The lift-off feature and the attachments provide a great versatility in the various places that are otherwise hard to get to such as our stairs, shutter blinds, and the crevices of our son’s high chair. We also have various surfaces in our house - carpet, tile flooring, area rugs - and it’s worked out great in each of the areas. Some areas where there is room for improvement would be its weight and smaller hose length. The lift off feature helps reduce weight when in that mode, however maneuvering the vacuum up and down stairs may be problematic for elderly, or in my case, pregnant individuals. Overall, the pros in our case did outweigh the cons. The Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum cleaner is a solid choice for those seeking a versatile cleaning solution, particularly in homes with pets or young children. Its strong suction and helpful attachments make it effective for various cleaning tasks and hard to reach areas.
