[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not have any pets, but I have always owned vacuums marketed for cleaning up pet messes because: (1) I have a very messy toddler (and husband - don't tell him I said that); and (2) I need a vacuum that can handle my long hair, which sheds constantly. I have been thoroughly impressed by all the Bissell products I have owned over the years, and the CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum is no exception! For the past few weeks, I have used it to clean all the hardwood, tile, carpet, plush rugs, and upholstery in our home. (These surfaces have included many crumbs, grass, clumps of dirt, and spilled Cheerios courtesy of the toddler.) As I expected based on my past experience with Bissell, the vacuum was simple to assemble, and the suction power is fantastic. I was surprised that it is quieter than all the other upright and stick vacuums I have owned. I have a few favorite features. First, the swivel steering makes it so easy to clean under kitchen countertops and furniture. Second, the lift-off detachable pod + wand + TurboBrush are perfect for quickly cleaning our carpeted stairs (and nabbing the occasional cobwebs that appear in the ceiling corners…). Finally, I appreciate how easy it is to detach and empty the tank and clean the filter. There are only two reasons I am giving this vacuum 4.5 stars instead of 5. Unfortunately, my long hair does get tangled up in the brush roll, and I have had to use scissors to remove it. (I do not imagine that this would be an issue for pet hair and many other humans' hair.) My only other complaint is that the onboard tool storage is not very secure. (I will forget that I have a tool attached until it falls off while I am cleaning with the detachable pod. I wish the tools clicked into place like all the other components.) Overall, however, I highly recommend the CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum - especially if you have pets or messy humans in your life! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We first received the vacuum on Mother’s Day I had just thrown ours out as it just kept sucking up nothing! As soon as this one was delivered I used it outside on our outdoor rug! We loved the color of the vacuum and the fact it picked up EVERYTHING. The suction was so strong and even on hardwood we didn’t even need a high setting to get everything. When switching to a low rug it had great features to guide us on what settings and it was easy to navigate. We used the detachable handle and used it on the stairs of our home which has rugs as well and it picked everything up with ease no clogging! I loved that we could adjust the power of suction sometimes we need to suction the top of our bed cause our toddler likes to climb up and eat crackers. This makes it easier to get everything without taking the sheets clean off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did I think I would be this excited over a new vaccum? Not a chance. Was I blown away after using it? YES! First of all, putting it together was so incredibly easy and quick. So easy in fact, I did it in less than 5 minutes with my toddler running around the house. Once I got this bad boy up and running I knew we were in for a love story. This vaccum is tiny but mighty! Not to mention it’s relatively quiet for a vaccum. I love that I can get under the table and it stays flush to the floor, it has a decent turning radius, and the suction is top notch. I have two dogs, so the furballs that accumulate gives any vaccum a run for the money. And let me tell you, this powerful vaccum had no problems tackling the fur. I have all surfaces in my house and the vaccum is incredible with them all. Hardwood, carpet, rugs— no problem! It also has a button that’s easily accessible when vacuuming to switch between surfaces and that was a cool feature. I LOVE the lift off option, it made doing my stairs such a breeze and my back wasn’t screaming at the end!! The wand release is so easy I can hold my baby and do that at the same time, making getting under the cabinets and other tight spaces so easy. The canister is easy to dump and holds a decent amount. My absolute favorite feature was the turbo brush tool- it is powerful and made cleaning the couch cushions and all the nooks and crannies SO quick and effective. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with this product!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this vacuum - its easy to use, compact, has a sleek design, and sucks up everything so easily! Our house has a ton of hair, crumbs, and other dirt all over the floors (hardword, rugs, tile, etc.) and this vacuum has been amazing in terms of picking it up quickly and with little to no effort. It's also easy to clean out and fits neatly in a little nook for frequent use. I cannot recommend this product enough and plan to go to Bissell first with all of my vacuuming needs!

I have two large German shepherds who are inside 90% of the time so my home is covered in dog hair. I really put this thing to the test! I ran it immediately after running my current vacuum on my bedroom carpet where the dogs sleep, my tile floor, hardwood floor, area rugs and LVP. I was shocked how full that canister was after one session! I will say with the suction on max on plush carpet with the brushes on full it was a bit of a work out but it was worth it for that deep clean! I love that the suction, brush (on or off), and type of flooring can all be adjusted so it's gentle on my tile and hardwoods but tough on my carpets for that deep clean! It was easy to maneuver and pivot. The machine itself is lightweight, the workout comes when you have it on full suction on plush carpets. Overall this is a must have for pet owners!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this vacuum has great power and is great for larger areas. The vacuum was quite easy to assemble, no small pieces. It’s not too heavy which made it nice to carry up and down steps. It has great suction power and combined with the brush speed, it picked up so much. It is very easy to adjust from high pile carpet to low/hard wood so transitioning from room to room was simple. It maneuvers great in larger areas but was just a bit bulky for more narrow spaces. It still was able to get under beds and couches and coffee tables but was too wide to get in areas like between the bed and wall or between the couch and coffee table. I was impressed with the tangle free brush roll. There’s still some hair there, but I have quite long hair and usually spend a lot of time cutting it out of my other vacuum between cleanings. The combo brush/narrow space attachment tool is interesting. I like that the brush can be removed, otherwise it adds bulk to the tool meant for narrow spaces. And I like that it reduces the amount of tools to attach to the vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this vacuum is great! It was easy to assemble straight from the box, even without reading the instructions. It is a bit bulky, which is to be expected from a full sized vacuum. Although it is bulky, it is light weight, so pushing it around was not a problem, even my 7 year old was able to use it. The overall look and design is nice. It comes with 2 attachments that come in handy. I've used the crevice tool to get in the hard to reach spots in the couch and also to get in the corners of the walls and it did an awesome job. I used the upholstery tool when cleaning the couch cushions as well. The suction with this vacuum is amazing. It even picked up beads my kids left on the floor without clogging up. I've cleaned area rugs, tile floors, walls, and my couch with this vacuum and the difference was immediately noticeable. I have 2 dogs and it cleaned up their hair no problem. It even cleans right up against the walls which some vacuums do not do. My favorite feature it the lift away feature. It makes it easy to walk around and carry the vacuum along with me while I cleaned the dust around the walls and cleaned the bigger objects I did not want to use the roller for. Overall I would recommend this vacuum to anyone, especially if you have kids or pets.

With two long-haired pets, keeping up with fur is a full-time job - but this vacuum pulled up so much fur from my living room rug, even after I'd just used our old one the night before. It's super easy to maneuver, especially under couches, and it handled both hardwood and rugs like a pro. The best part is that hardly any fur got tangled in the brush, which is a huge bonus for pet owners. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a light in the front, which would've made it easier to see under furniture and dark spaces.

Throughout my use of this vacuum cleaner, I was impressed by its ease-of-use, handy features, and overall cleaning power. As a father of three young children, a powerful and versatile vacuum is a necessity. This vacuum was able to tackle every non-liquid-based mess in our entire house. From oatmeal to kinetic sand, this vacuum was able to tackle messes on hardwood floor, carpet, and area rugs with ease. The vacuum comes with a feature that allows you to easily switch between the normal rotating bristle and a suction-only mode. Additionally, the handle has a built-in sliding switch that allows for quick adjustment of suction power based on the surface being cleaned. These features together proved especially useful in seamlessly switching between the hardwood and area rug in our living room. However, my favorite part of this vacuum is it's versatility when using the hose. The hose is built into the handle of the vacuum, and it detaches easily, making for a hassle-free switch between traditional vacuuming to using the hose. The hose comes with a rotating bristle head that was able to clean our couches and suede dining room chairs with ease. But the best part of using the hose is that the entire body portion of the vacuum lifts off the main bristle head, allowing you to carry it with you while you use the hose with ease. This allows you to move about the house, using the hose to get in hard-to-reach places without accidentally pulling the entire vacuum over. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissel Clean View Max Lift-Off has been a great addition to my cleaning arsenal. I enjoy the black, sleek look & design of the vacuum; however, I think it lacks tools in comparison to others in the field. Overall, the pros & cons are about even for me so I am giving 3 stars. Pros: great suction, powerful, able to use on multiple surfaces (i.e. hardwood, tile, carpet, & area rugs), and a multi-brush spinning system that minimizes tangled messes from hair build up. Cons: very heavy, hard to carry up & down the stairs, and does not detach as easily as advertised. Even while detached, having to carry the canister around is almost harder than not detaching it at all. My favorite feature is the ability to easily switch between hardwood & carpet because I have multiple surfaces both upstairs & downstairs. This vacuum is great if you live with children, multiple people, and pets… definitely excels in picking up hair!
