Great little vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is super great! Very light weight and easy to carry around which I appreciated. The hose attachments are awesome and worked amazing on my stairs that had not been cleaned in a while and are under heavy kid traffic. The vacuum also worked great on my area rug. Assembling it was surprisingly simple and straight forward. The design is also nice looking. The one thing that didn’t seem to work great was vacuuming the hard floor because it would just push the larger crumbs or pieces around but maybe it would work with a less messy floor. Also it is quite loud, but that didn’t bother me personally.
PowerfulSuction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the CleanView Max Lift-Off Vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and overall, I think it’s a great vacuum. It feels well-built, yet it’s lightweight enough to carry around easily, which made cleaning multiple areas of my home much more manageable. The design is modern and intuitive, and I appreciated how straightforward it was to set up and use right out of the box. The suction power is no joke. It picked up everything in its path. In fact, it almost felt too strong at times, especially when I tried to clean lightweight floor mats, which tended to get pulled into the vacuum. Still, I’d rather deal with strong suction than not enough. I used it on vinyl flooring, carpet, and even those pesky floor mats. It transitioned easily between surfaces without needing much adjustment, and it performed well across the board. My favorite feature by far was the detachable handheld vacuum tool. It made getting into tight spaces like corners, stairs, and around furniture much easier. I found myself reaching for it frequently for quick clean-ups. Overall, this vacuum is a solid choice if you’re looking for something powerful, portable, and versatile.
Power vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum does exactly what you want it to do: it sucks... up all the dirt. This thing is easy to use, easy to empty, and gets the job done! I used this vacuum on my recently cleaned carpet (done with my old 8yr old vacuum) and, as you can see from the picture, this vacuum still found plenty to get off the ground. It's pretty maneuverable, and can swivel around edges well. It is light enough that my 4yr old was able to push it around and use it decently well. Also easy enough to empty that the 4yr old could do that himself. I really like the wand attachment. I feel like it does a better job than others that I've had. The vacuum claims to not wrap hair around the bottom, which so far has been true. We will see if that stands up to the test of time, as I have very long thick hair that has tangled many vacuums before.
Dependable with great suction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I think this vacuum is fantastic. Simple design with a medium weight to it. Was easy to unbox and took less than four minutes to assemble. This vacuum revitalized one of my beloved rugs in a high traffic area of the house. I have two kids it sucked up so much dust and dirt. After vacuuming my rugs they felt more fluffy. Also works great on hard wood floors. I like the wand feature the best. It releases nicely and makes the hard to reach places easy to clean. Turbobrush attachment was great for the couch.
Nice Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a decent vacuum that is at a reasonable price point. Our favorite futures were the cleaning tools and it’s ability to pivot to clean under furniture. The brush attachment worked well to clean the carpet in our van. it is easy enough to put inside the van and also haul up stairs. I found it is a bit cumbersome to maneuver on medium pile carpet, but it was easier on hard wood, tile, area rugs, and low pile carpet. There is a setting for low pile vs plush carpet. The power seemed superior to my cordless vacuum. In the kitchen, it quickly sucked up cheerios and tiny bits that my cordless vac tends to just push around. Overall, this does the job, but I did not try it on high pile carpet.
Amazing vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I HIGHLY recommend this vacuum! It’s one of the best I have used while being a toddler momma. Every day there are a ton of things that end up on the floor which includes sand, dirt, tiny pieces of paper, etc. (Not to mention hair!) This vacuum picks up all that, plus a ton of dust I didn’t know was living on our carpets (even though we had been using another brand). It takes less than a minute to assemble, and is not too heavy. Highly recommend!
Brought my 1 year old rug back to life
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really impressed with the CleanView Max Lift-Off! The vacuum I’d been using before my CleanView is a canister that uses water to trap the vacuumed debris. I’d been really happy with it before, but after using the CleanView Max Lift-Off I quickly found out our old unit isn’t getting our floors as clean as I had thought. We had a rug that I thought was simply worn down. I had tried everything to bring life back to my rug before this and had no luck. I vacuumed it with the CleanView Max and the fibers lifted back up and a ton of dirt came out! My rug looks a lot newer than it did before I cleaned it with this vacuum and I have the dirt I can see to know that it’s a lot cleaner, too. I do have some pros and cons. Pros: 1. Fabulous suction and dirt removal 2. Incredibly easy turning 3. Accessories stored directly on the vacuum without the need for additional closet space to store the vacuum pieces. 4. The pull-out wand is amazing for quick pick-up jobs like cobwebs, baseboard, corners and small areas the vacuum brush head can’t reach 5. Removable canister for uses without brush head 6. Easy emptying and replacement of dust bin 7. Press-of-a-switch for height of brush head and using the vacuum with or without the roller brush spinning. For someone with a fairly even balance of carpet and hardwood, it was so nice to not have to turn off the vacuum, swap the brush head for a hard floor attachment, and swap back when on the next rug or section of carpet. Cons: 1. The vacuum is heavier than I’m used to. While it moves easily and responds well to wrist movement, it does tend to get heavy after using it for more than a room or two. 2. The vacuum cord is shorter than I like. I felt as though I was stopping often to move my plug to the next outlet in order to continue vacuuming. 3. The vacuum is too tall to fit under my cabinets. The wand is so easy to quickly pull out and use instead that it’s not a huge deal, but it is an extra step to get the floor clean. Overall, despite the few cons I listed, I’m so happy with this vacuum. I was able to easily clean pet fur off of our furniture with the vacuum, also. With two cats and a dog, that’s a big job in this house. The CleanView Max removed all of the fur from our couch, from the fuzzy fur of one cat to the coarse hair of our dog. I’d definitely recommend this vacuum to others!
Best Vacuum for active families
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum was exactly what our busy family needed! It is powerful on every surface, carpet, rugs, hardwoods, and tile! We have 2 kids and a dog constantly running in and out of the house and this vacuum lets me keep up with all the messes they track in and around the house. For an upright vacuum it is very lightweight and it transitions to the lift off mode super easily! I was able to clean everything in my home, floors, upholstery, stairs, curtains, couches, and chairs with the use of the added tools that are perfectly designed to fit onto the sides of the vacuum. I love how easily I can empty the dirt without messy bags. The container is clear so it makes it super easy to tell if I sucked up a toy my kids left behind by mistake. My favorite feature of this vacuum has to be how well it is able to get dog hair up around my house. My home has never been cleaner! This vacuum is a total win if you have kids and pets!
Tackles kids and pet messes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In a house with two kids, two cats, and a dog, a good vacuum isn’t a luxury, it’s essential. Our home is a mix of carpet, rugs, tile, and wood, so I need something that can handle all types of messes. I was excited to put this vacuum to the test, and it delivered. I ran it just 12 hours after using our old vacuum, and I couldn’t believe how much hair it still pulled up. It tackled everything: tons of pet hair, crumbs from the kids’ food messes, and even dirt tracked in from muddy shoes. The suction power is seriously impressive. It’s lightweight and compact enough to fit in our small house, which makes it easy to store and carry room to room. I also love the option to turn the brush roll on and off depending on the surface - perfect for transitioning between rugs and hard floors. I’m curious to see how it holds up over time, but for now, I’m really pleased. This is officially our new primary vacuum.
Powerful and Sturdy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off made a strong impression on our busy household. With kids and a couple of shedding pets, we put vacuums through a lot and this one delivered solid results. The look and design are modern and practical. It’s not overly bulky, and the detachable lift-off canister makes it easy to handle stairs or tight spots. I appreciated that it didn’t feel cheap or overly plastic-y despite being reasonably priced. When it comes to cleaning power, it handled daily messes like crumbs, pet hair, and tracked-in dirt really well. It had no problem pulling embedded fur from our area rugs and picked up fine dust on hardwood floors with ease. It even tackled glitter—courtesy of my kids’ craft adventures—without a hitch. We used it on hardwood, tile, low-pile carpet, and area rugs, and it transitioned between surfaces smoothly. Suction stayed strong, and it didn’t scatter debris like some other vacuums we've owned. My favorite feature was the lift-off canister. It made cleaning curtains, couches, and under furniture a breeze. I also loved the turbo brush attachment; it really pulled fur off upholstery without getting tangled. The only real downside (and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) is the lack of a headlight. It would’ve been helpful for seeing under furniture or in dim corners. That aside, it’s a great all-around vacuum, especially for pet and kid messes.
