Versatile everyday vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of this vacuum is positive. Out of the box, I noticed that it came with a 2-in-1 duster tool and a roll brush attachment that attaches to the built-in wand. It was also very easy to assemble. I couldn’t wait to put it to the test. I have kids, so it wasn’t hard to find something to vacuum. My home is half carpet, half hardwood, so I decided to test it on carpet first. On carpet, I vacuumed crush tortilla chips without any issues. I also vacuumed crush tortilla chips on the hardwood floor and there also were no issues with that. What I like about the vacuum is that it has two different settings that allow you to select the type of floors you have (carpet or hard surface). When you select carpet, the brush roller is on and when you select hard surface, the roller is off. There is also the option to select whether you have thick carpet or low carpet/hard floor. The 2-in-1 duster tool makes it easier to vacuum edges and corners. I also imagine that if you have pets, this would be a good feature to use to get pet hair off of furniture. It also works well when dusting the trim or if you want to vacuum curtains. My favorite feature is that the canister lifts off. Because of this feature, vacuuming the steps became a lot easier. Just push the lift off button, carry the canister as you vacuum, and reattach it when you are done. Overall, I am pleased with the features of this vacuum. It feels a little lighter than my previous full-sized vacuum. It’s not too heavy for me to carry up and downstairs, and it did a great job of sucking up crumbs around corners, so it is a welcomed addition in my home.
Great Vacuum LOVE THE LINES
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a stay at home mom to four children and one medium haired dog, I can’t say enough about how wonderful this Bissell Clean View Max lift-off vacuum is! I vacuum at least 3 time daily in our main areas which is a combination of white carpet and luxury wood plank vinyl. This vacuum has more than enough power to clean up the finest pieces of hair to the snack crumbs that makes its way throughout the house. I absolutely love that I can easily grab the tools located on the side with the flip of a switch while also maneuvering the whole canister with the lift-away feature. While I absolutely love the suction power of this vacuum, I do wish I had an extra 3 feet of cord as I have frequently accidentally unplugged myself while vacuuming but I do have a 3000 sq/ft home so maybe it will be easier for someone who doesn’t have such a large area to vacuum daily. Lastly, I’m excited to share how wonderful the lines are in my carpet and sofa after I vacuum!!
Mostly good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of this vacuum is that it feels sturdy and well built. It looks sleek being almost all black with a pop of blue. I like how so the attachments attach easily and out of the way. The cleaning power feels top notch. It sounds like it's doing a really good job picking everything up. I used it on my carpeted surfaces as well as my hard surfaces. My carpeted surfaces are higher pile so it was a good test. I have a dog and a toddler so there is plenty of dog hair and crumbs to be picked up. Since the canister is see-thru I could see everything being picked up, which was a lot. My favorite feature of this vacuum is the large capacity collection canister. I vacuumed several times before having to empty, which is so nice. I have a few things a didn't like. The weight of the vacuum made vacuuming my carpet difficult at times, my arm/shoulder would get quite tired. Also the cord hook would not keep the cord hooked, it kept popping out. Overall, good vacuum!
In Love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this vacuum cleaner. After I vacuumed with my old vacuum, I put my new CleanView Max Lift-Off to the test and re-vacuumed the same area. The amount of dirt and pet hair it picked up was unbelievable! I used this vacuum on hardwood, area rugs and fully carpeted areas and it proved to work great on all surfaces! I love the attachments it comes with and where they are actually stored on the vacuum itself! Overall it took about a minute out of the box to put together and all of the functions are easy to use. The vacuum is pretty lightweight and easy to transport up and down stairs for multi level houses. The compartment of dirt is easy to empty and the filter is easy to access and clean. Overall, I love the power and suction that this vacuum cleans with to pick up all the dog and cat hair in my house.
Quiet Powerhouse with a few bulky quirks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the CleanView® Max Lift-Off and wanted to share my honest experience with its performance and features. From the moment it was delivered, the experience started off well. The box was easy to transport, and although I felt flustered when I opened it and saw all the parts, it assembled in less than a minute! My first impression after turning it on was how quiet it was—especially for a vacuum of this size. It did a tremendous job sucking up all the gray gunk hidden deep in my carpet, even though I vacuum frequently. While we don’t have pets, I live with four ladies—and we all have long, thick hair. I was impressed by how well the vacuum picked up hair that my previous vacuum always missed. Even better, the hair didn’t tangle around the brushes. On carpet, it was a dream to use—it glided smoothly despite its powerful suction. When I tried it on hardwood floors, it performed just as well. The strong brush managed to lift small, stubborn bits like cilantro and even a squished chocolate chip. The Lift-Off Detachable Pod was a standout feature. It made it easy to pick items that wouldn’t suck in normally, and best of all, I didn’t have to keep bending down. The pod had incredible suction and cleaned the sofa edges and stair corners with ease. As for handling: lifting is easy, but storing could be more convenient. It’s on the bulky side and requires a bit more room for quick access in daily cleaning. Areas for Improvement: 1. The Detachable Pod could benefit from a longer hose for extended reach. 2. A retractable power cord would make setup and storage much smoother.
Thanks so much for your thoughtful review, Sanaaya! We’re thrilled to hear how well the CleanView® Max Lift-Off® handled hair and deep carpet cleaning—and that the Lift-Off Pod made a difference for your stairs and sofa. We appreciate your suggestions on hose length and cord storage, and we’ll be sure to pass them along to our team. Thanks again for sharing your experience!
Great Cleaning without Hair Tangle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly was super easy. I was able to quickly unpack and assemble the vacuum in about 3 minutes (with my kids’ “help”). I’ve used the vacuum on hard floors, carpet, and rugs, and the suction and cleaning are great. We have a cavapoo who doesn’t shed; I’m the one with the shedding problem! I have long hair that always gets wrapped around the brush roll of vacuums, but it hasn’t been an issue at all so far. I had vacuumed with our old vacuum, then followed with this one, and got so much more dirt in the dust bin! The photo is the dust and dirt just from our living room. I can’t speak to the longevity of the vacuum yet, but my initial impressions are great! It is a bit louder than I had hoped, but no complaints otherwise.
Works well and easy to us
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time trying a Bissell and I was pleasantly surprised. The vacuum isn’t too heavy and was easy to use. The attachments are easy to store on the vacuum itself and easy to attach. I did find the long handle for the attachments a little harder to have good control as my other vacuum can attach right at the handle with better control. The vacuum had many settings for my tile, wood floors, low rugs, and thicker carpet. The brush roll can be easily turned on or off depending on need and also has option for plush carpet or low carpet/bare floors. I only had issues with our very plush long carpet rug where the brush roll would stop within one stroke and it didn’t feel like it was sucking enough without it. I felt like the suction worked well especially with all the dog hair we have from our Labrador retriever. I used this vacuum multiple times in the first week or two and it always found more hair and dust. It was also easy to empty and the filters are easy to find and clean. Overall I am very happy with this vacuum but I should say that my other more expensive vacuum does feel like it has a little more suction power but this one wasn’t far behind!
Great All Purpose Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to test through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This vacuum is lightweight for a corded vacuum and has a lot of very convenient and easy to use features. It's great for combo flooring in a house, we have carpet upstairs and LVP on the main level, with tile in the bathrooms and several rugs. The handle has settings to switch between for plush carpet and bare floor which is really nice, and the suction for both is the right level. There are two different attachments you can use with a removeable wand handle for baseboards or high up places. My favorite part is how easy it is to empty. The cannister is extremely easy to take off to empty and then go right back. It also is large enough that I can vacuum all 4 bedrooms upstairs before I have to empty it. It has been able to vacuum up all the hair around the house with no clogging issues and sucks up all the crumbs everywhere from having a toddler. I would definitely recommend this vacuum!
Powerful suction and strong line game
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a clean freak mom to a furry feline friend and two small humans, messes are inevitable and frequent in my home. After an easy assembly with clear instructions, I first used the CleanView Max Lift-Off in my carpeted upstairs (primarily bedrooms). I was immediately impressed by the powerful suction and crisp lines left on the carpet. I was also a bit grossed out by the amount of dust and pet hair in the canister, given I had vacuumed 3 days prior with another machine. Clearly, this vacuum was doing its job. On the main level, I was able to change the suction strength for the flooring (luxury vinyl plank), as well as a few area rugs, with the slide of a button. I enjoyed the ease of the extra parts. The turbo brush attachment worked beautifully on my carpeted stairs, where my cat likes to scratch, thus resulting in the need for frequent vacuuming of carpet shreds. On my brown couches, the same attachment easily removed white cat hair and kid crumbs. The look and design of the vacuum allow for easy maneuverability and adjustments based on the type of flooring or other surfaces that need to be cleaned. My only real complaint about this vacuum is the cord length. I found myself having to switch outlets more frequently than what I do with other machines, but this is a minor con compared to the extensive list of pros. While the overall features of this vacuum are immensely positive, the standout is truly the suction strength. The strength is evident visually when using on carpet, LVP, area rugs, and stairs/furniture (with the turbo brush as well as the main vacuum head), in addition to the large volume of debris in the canister. I highly recommend this vacuum, especially for those with kids, pets, and a variety of flooring types.
Stop your Vacuum Search Here this is THE ONE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best vacuum I’ve had… maybe ever! I’ve even started reaching for it in place of my cordless stick vac because it’s so user friendly and the suction is that good. It easily goes between carpet/rugs and hard flooring with no issues. There’s a conveniently located toggle on the handle to indicate which flooring you’re on. The brush roll on/off switch is part of the power toggle located further down the base, which might be better located on the handle for quick switching, but that’s the only thing I’d change about it. Emptying the bin is simple and mess free. Releasing the wand to add attachments is a simple twist and click. Another unexpected bonus… it’s so lightweight and easily maneuverable that my 8 year old son has found a new passion in vacuuming! Though honestly, it’s such a pleasure to use that I don’t mind doing it myself!
