[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try the CleanView Max Life-Off vacuum! I have two cats and a dog, so a high quality vacuum is a must! We use a cordless handheld vacuum daily for quick clean up, but I like run a more powerful vacuum at least twice a week! We have a combination of carpet, hard surfaces, and area rugs including thin to shag. Overall, I think this was a great vacuum for us! Pros: 1) The suction power on this vacuum was exactly what we needed for our household! I could tell a noticeable different from how much was sucked up from the first time to the second two days later! It is able to pick up small clumps of cat hair on the first try where my handheld one usually takes 2-3 passes. 2) A small but amazing design feature is a space to store attachments on the vacuum-this makes using them so much easier and convenient! 3) I found it to be a relatively quiet vacuum! My four year old daughter is very sensitive to sound, and she even commented on it! 4) this works well on all surfaces, making clean up in a home with a bit of each easier! 5) it's very easy to assemble, and to remove/re-attach The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars include: 1) an unexpected inconvenience is that the plug is loose in some of my outlets and will fall out mid vacuum, even when there is plenty of slack in the cord. I found this odd- it wasn't every plug in, but I have not noticed that with other things I've plugged into them before! 2) the vacuum is heavier than I'm used to 3) the upholstery attachment worked well when on a hard surface, but was inconsistent on a softer surface like a couch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum looks super sharp and modern, and has a pop of blue. By far the coolest visual and functional feature is the clear cleaning basin. You can literally watch all of the dirt that the vacuum picks up—as it picks it up! I was impressed with the flexibility of the vacuum and how it turns and takes corners with ease. Nothing clunky about this vacuum! It picked up cat fur, food particles, and dust from my carpet, hardwood floors, and area rugs. It picked up everything along my baseboards, and the handheld feature helped me get in tough places. The only room for improvement is that the basin is a little tricky to empty at first, but we got used to it. Would highly recommend! My son loved it so much he volunteers to vacuum!

I did think the canister was a little large, but I do have a dog and carpet areas to vacuum so it would hold a lot. When using the vacuum, I was immediately impressed with the strong suction power. Having little kids and a dog, it definitely collected a lot more than my previous vacuum. I vacuumed on carpet and hardwood surfaces. The best part was how easy and smooth it was going around and under furniture. It made vacuuming effortlessly!

My house is 90% carpet so a vacuum is essential in my everyday cleaning. As soon as I received it I got straight to putting it together! The process was simple, clear instructions were provided and everything clicked in together effortlessly. My first project was the living room. Right away, I could see dust getting picked up and accumalating in the bin. The suction power is strong and the brush really got into the carpet. I also tried out the Turbo Brush on my couch and was so impressed! Even that small brush really packed some power. My second project was cleaning my car. The dirt bin completely detached from the carpet brush making it lightweight and easier to use when working on a car. The vacuum hose and crevice tool were very useful for car vacuuming. Overall, all the tools provided, worked excellently and it was fun to use the vacuum. If I could change one thing, I think I would change the vacuum switch. You have to choose from the off/brush/no brush options. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone with pets and children.

I was super excited to give this vacuum a try on both my carpet and hard surfaces. It's a solid vacuum that seems to be made of quality parts. But overall I was sadly disappointed. The biggest drawback and really a dealbreaker for me is the length of the cord. Compared to my normal vacuum I estimate the cord is a least 3 feet shorter which I noticed immediately when I couldn't vacuum as many rooms. Having to change plugs more often is really inconvenient, especially when I have a vacuum that will allow me to reach more rooms. The suction is not the strongest, especially when used on hard surfaces. I had to go over a piece of debris numerous times before it picked it up. If I compare how much it picks up (based on the canister) vs my current vacuum it's picking up far less. I have dogs and children and want to be sure my time vacuuming is well spent and actually picking up all of their dirt and fur! Unfortunately this vacuum underperformed. One benefit is that it came with a soft brush attachment which I found to be helpful cleaning vents and the wood trim on my staircase. But beyond that it did not prove to be a superior vacuum or one I could highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell clean view max lift-off is a great vacuum. We have two different types of carpet and linoleum and it handles all of them like a pro. We have very plush carpet and the plush carpet setting works amazing. We have a dog and baby and the suction picks up anything on the ground. We love the attachments from the wand to the turbo brush. The vacuum is medium weight and has a great swivel and design. This has become our new favorite vacuum and replaced our old one which is its direct competitor. Thanks Stellar for letting me try out this product for free.

The hose detaches in two places, very similar to a competitors product, and is so helpful when trying to vacuum ceiling corners (my personal pet peeve). The suction is strong and dirt trap is very easy to clean. I was appalled at the amount of dirt collected from my first pass on carpeted floor, which I thought looked fairly clean - see photo. It’s very lightweight and doesn’t feel like you’re lugging around heavy machinery like some other vacuums.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my Bissell Cleanview Max Lift-Off Vacuum! It’s incredibly versatile and works effortlessly across every area of my home. One of my favorite features is how user-friendly it is as I can easily swap between floor types with just the push of a button. For a full-sized vacuum, it’s surprisingly lightweight and easy to maneuver. It glides smoothly over hardwoods and has a great pivot for tight spaces. I especially appreciate how simple it is to grab the wand for those hard-to-reach areas. The suction power is outstanding—so much so that it doesn’t turn quite as easily on carpets as I’d like, but the deep-cleaning results are worth it. I also love the adjustable suction feature for different carpet thicknesses. With both thin rugs and thick carpets in my home, having one vacuum that handles it all is a huge plus. Emptying the debris bin is quick and clean, and the large capacity means I don’t have to stop and empty it often. The pet/stair tool attachment has made vacuuming furniture so much easier—now it’s just part of my routine instead of a dreaded chore. I also appreciate how easy it is to wipe down the vacuum and keep odors away. Overall, I’m thrilled with this vacuum. It’s replaced our previous model and made cleaning so much more efficient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum looks pretty nice and is easily used in different ways by removing the wand from the base or using its attachments. It is quite effective at picking up debris, including pet hair from fabric surfaces and rugs. Using the turbo max attachment was super helpful on my furniture. The little extension wand for narrow spaces was not long enough for me, but I did appreciate the brush head on it to help get pet hair off of things. The ability to change the settings for different floor surfaces, and for whether you use the roller brush in the base, was also very helpful. It was very easy to detach and empty the container into the trash. What makes me disappointed in the vacuum is how clunky it felt to me. It is definitely heavy and was a workout to use it for an extended time. It is pretty easy to turn, but the vacuum tends to go back into the vertical position and I then have to manually adjust it back into an angled position for maneuvering the vacuum. When using the wand detached, the hose was very stiff and didn't want to extend, which then meant that unless I held the vacuum in place it wanted to pull over and follow the wand. It actually did this during my first use and fell over onto my ankle, which was very painful due to the weight. Overall, I just found it a lot heavier and more difficult to maneuver than my old canister vacuum, which was disappointing. However, I do appreciate that it seems very effective, especially with picking up pet hair from fabric surfaces. So, I give a middling rating to this vacuum.
